I order a retainer from SmileSet. They had my mold from a previous company so they could duplicate a new retainer for me. I was pleased to receive exactly a duplicate of my old retainer without the expense of a new mold casting. They also added a smoother finish on the edges which feels so much better.

The retainers are unwearable. I filled out the info sheet they sent me with pictures. Their response was to file it down or cut away excess materials. I ordered the comfort fit. They cost $130+ I would just like them to make me a pair I can wear without cutting my gums and lips. Please.

Communications throughout the process was clear and helpful. Retainers arrived on time and were as expected.

The retainers were not trimmed or filled down so the ends stuck out into my mouth by about 3 mm. It was especially bad on the lower inside edges. My tongue was getting tortured and I couldn't leave them in longer than about 30 minutes. The upper edge that goes up to the roof of my mouth was way too long and was very uncomfortable, too. Please file and trim them better. Someone clearly got lazy.

Love the automatic ordering every 6 months. Great sturdy product with finished edges.

Easy to order, looked up my information simply by my email. Received retainers fit perfectly, even though its been over 2 years since i've had any scans with SmileDirect. Highly recommend if you need new retainers.

Retainers didn’t fit after having them molded..

They fit good. It was a little uncomfortable in the back against my cheek so I was able to bend it in.

My retainers fit like a glove and the comfort cut makes them so much more comfortable to sleep in. Along with the water flosser, sanitizer, and the teeth whitening treatment, I feel like a new woman!!

So far so good but I am only 1 week into wearing the first set of aligners. They are comfortable- which I have not had with past experience.

Responded promptly for the issue and tried their best to resolve it.

The material these retainers are made from are awful. It’s so thick I can’t even close my mouth properly. I wouldn’t be able to wear this in a normal public setting for that reason. I’m only giving it two star because it does fit from my previous records through Smile Direct Club. I’m glad I have an option after the fiasco with them going out of business.

Their communication with me. I opened the box, and opened the first set. I was so excited that I didn’t read the instructions first. They fit perfectly. Absolutely no sharp edges, poking corners, nothing!

Noticed a difference with the added “comfort fit.” If worn for a long period of time, and you speak often, the edges tend to irritate the inner top lip. Good replacement for previous aligners with Smile Direct.

I ordered my initial kit at the end of last year, but they forgot to ship it. It was quite disappointing but they apologized and shipped it to me. I am thankful for their courtesy and making sure I received my kit. I trust SmileSet to help me with my dental needs! Thank you!

Easy and fast process

Great and easy way to start. Communication was not good. I had to call and email multiple times to find out what's next, why the delay.... Almost cancelled.

Everything was delivered as promised even though I messed up one of the impressions. Im only in my first week of treatment but so far I'm pleased with customer service, communication, delivery and quality!
