United States | 30 June 2020Assembled our Pure Spa that we actually have had for several years. The water connection to the tub began to leak. It appeared that it was one small "nut" that had worn out. We have been trying to contact Intex for weeks. We are both in our 60's and my husband has severe arthritis in his lower back. During sheltering at home it would have been wonderful to have been able to take comfort in the spa. But Intex could care less. Phony outgoing messages and request for email s that go nowhere. They're despicable. I will continue to tell other consumers to stir clear!

Sounds like they have stolen lots of money from people and have no intention of supporting their products. Guess, I'm out the $180. Thanks alot, Intex.

I mean the list of complaints are endless, on their facebook page and google reviews. It's all public. A one star is too much.

I paid for a liner for my 15x42 inch prism pool. I had previously had the prism pool delivered from another store on 5/28, and the liner and ground cloth was missing! Just want to be sure that my liner is going to be promptly shipped out as we have all the other materials and no liner. Please send me an update! My order number is 200224686

United States | 30 May 2020My son bought us an Intex Excursion Pro Kayak for Christmas. When we inflated it a couple weeks ago to go float, one of the sides does not hold air, and the valve is defective. So I call them and we are SOL. 90 limited warranty from date of purchase. Doesn't matter it was a gift. Doesn't matter you cant use it in winter. Doesn't matter it has never seen water. Doesn't matter that it sat in a box just like it would have in a store until 2 weeks ago. $250 of plastic trash. Doesn't matter that there is NOTHING on the box indicating I have a limited time to inflate and inspect, but it does tell me that i has been quality tested. It also does not help that they basically shut down customer support during COVID-19. Several tries of an hour on the phone before I got to talk to anyone. Even chat was a bust, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM INTEX! I have had bad and good experiences (mostly bad) with their airbeds, pool toys, etc, but figured they were cheap stuff to begin with. $250 ain't cheap! BOYCOTT INTEX PRODUCTS! Please share!

Just bought an intex inflatable pool on amazon and as I'm setting it up for my kids, I realize that the one of the air caps is actually broken and probably will not last long. Now I'm calling customer service and I can't believe I've been on hold for over 45mn and still waiting.. Forget bad customer service.. they seem to have 'No customer service...) Never again will I buy anything from them..

Portugal | 12 May 2020Worse company ever. I'm from Portugal and have made 3 orders from intexserviceiberia. Only the first one came to the correct address. The second was delivered to my old job (altough i've specified a new address) and the third and definetily the last one, the guy from the carrier called me because in the address the street was from one town, the postal code from another, and the correct address that i supply was 200km away from there. And yes, it was from intex and not carrier issue. The support people, i don't want to be rude, but i believe they hire the most incompetent. Before my purchase i had issues with the amounts that were incorrect, and for 2 times the lady on the other side told me that the issue was something i've done and could do nothing. I insisted and in the end it was a problem from intex. They just don't care. Go for another brand!!

United States | 06 March 2020I Would like people to know the truth about intex. I have purchased two different hot tubs and I am very disappointed. The first one I bought a few months in the tub started leaking so bad that within a hour almost half the water would be gone. So I reached out to intex, because it was under warranty for 1 year. Come to find out I had to send in a bunch of pieces of the tub that I had to cut out. The bad part was I have to pay for shipping to the office in California, and once they received the parts that were bad they would process my clam within a week or two. After they are happy with what you send them it can take up to another two weeks for you to receive the replacement. So I found that I could buy a new one and get that in about 2 days, so I did and much to my surprise the new pump went bad in about 3 weeks. So now I have been trying to get this part replaced for over a month, I am very disappointed in the service I am getting. They just want to send parts to fix the problem one part at a time. They are very rude on the phone, they make you feel like you are doing something wrong. Also they will not let you talk to a supervisor unless you fill out a request to speak with a supervisor and that can take up to 48 hours. I would tell you to look at purchasing something similar from a different company. Worst Costner service from a major company

United States | 07 February 2020I like to start saying that I didn’t know INTEX was a 100% chinese company that makes garbage products from sofa beds and mattresses. My sister was the first one using those air mattress and then me, but the quality let too much to desire, since perhaps a two months from the day of purchase they blow out inside making them unusable, the same thing happens to the sofas and today when I spoke to my sister telling her that my blow out inside she told me that her too yesterday. I call the company office in CA and they want the box and the receipt in order to be able to do something, but who keeps all that anymore? So I told them that since I did not have the receipt I just want to tell them how poor the quality of their products was, and seems to me for the way he answers and cut off the conversation that they don't give a dam, so this is how we can bring their profits down, not buying their products and telling everyone else too. So do yourself a favor and don’t waste your hard earn money in garbage and at the same time supporting china economy.

United States | 18 January 2020Wow, this company is a complete joke and the filtration pumps and air mattresses are complete junk. This is my 3rd pump I bought from intex in 6 yrs that all just quit. This last one is only 9 mos old and it's the 3,000 gpm top of the line they had. The electronics 8n these units completely suck and no way yo by circuit boards to fix them.. my pump wasnt working or turning on so after I checked the breakers and power I took (4) 1" screws off the plastic cover to see of it was fried or a wire was unplugged then put the cover back on. Called the company and told them it stopped working and just checked under the cover to see if anything was unplugged but put back on. They said sorry because you took the cover off that cancelled the warranty. Lol seriously? I took 4 screws out and looked under the cover.....No wires were touched, nothing else took apart, just wanted to look and see if anything came loose. The customer service morons are stricky by script like robots and wouldnt offer any other fix for this then to buy a new pump....its 9 mos old! 3rd pump in just over 5 yrs and the first 2 didnt even run in the winter. Guess what happens when you buy from china. Ugh LIE TO THESE MORONS IF IT HAPPENS TO YOU. DONT SAY ANYTHING BUT IT DOESNT QORK. THEY RECORD EVERYTHING YOU SAY TO THEM IN NOTES TO YOUR PHONE.

United States | 06 September 2019Intex is a bad joke. They are knowingly selling easy set pools with the inflatable rings that have potential to have a known defect. The ring bulges. Their site under problems even lists bulges as a selection you can make. I grabbed pics of it as I figure they will get rid of that one now that they can sense a class action coming. Oh, the bulge does go away in the form of tiny pinholes all over where the bulge once was! Their aerator leaked from the get go as well. I am out my valuable time, money for water and water replacement and all Supervisor CARL could offer me was a replacement with the same fricken pool that could very well have the same bulge defect! I told him I'd be happy if he just replaced the 12' 30inch easy set with ring of darkness for their prism pool same size, same money but nothing inflatable that can bulge! No can do! There are other above ground pool companies out there. USE THEM!

United States | 29 August 2019I don’t want to even give one star. Bought an air mattress used one night it went flat. Went to take back to Walmart and was told no refund per company ( Intex ). Was told I had to get the same product or a high price one. They will not refund any money period. This is Intex rules not Walmart’s. This company is very very poor in customer satisfaction and has super poor quality merchandise. If box is open which you have to open and try to use to even find out. What a rip off never by their products.

United States | 09 July 2019The Easy Set Pool was fun for 2 weeks, then the filter stopped. If you have time to sit on the phone waiting for customer service from 8-5 Monday through Friday, good luck! I ended up having to purchase another filter at about the same cost as the original set, so my kids could actually use this pool. Do not purchase if you might ever need customer service.

(and…I hope for your sake it’s not customer service! If you’re lucky, you’ll only have to hear the blah blah blah one time. It appeared to me that their customer service is a pretty busy department.)…… Here is what you’ll hear “inflate, fill and play….no fuss”. “Intex is the leading source for the finest quality inflatable products in the world. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with superior customer service and satisfaction. Their website portion About Us” includes “Our objective is to deliver the highest quality products at an affordable price. All designed for comfort, safety and fun. We’re proud to bring you outstanding merchandise with impeccable service customer service. Our vision is to be the most recognizable, trusted and innovative company in our industry. We routinely test finished products to make sure they meet our elevated standards for quality, safety and value”. None of the above Intex company statements on phone or website appeared to take place with my issue. I reached “outsourced” customer service. They hung up on me the first time after I gave them my email. When calling back and asking to speak with a supervisor I was told I needed to state my issue. When I did so, I was told it was against their company policy to transfer me to a supervisor. I am supposed to expect a call within 1 to 2 business days; however, I was told they could not give the number from which to expect the call. (I’m one of those who doesn’t answer if I don’t know you and you don’t leave a msg). Bottom line; whatever your issue, SERIOUSLY do not expect to receive superior customer service and satisfaction. If the pool I bought was in fact routinely tested in their finished product to make sure they meet Intex elevated standards for quality then their standards for quality are not up to mine. I will not purchase anything affiliated with this company again and strongly recommend moving on to another producer of this type pool product if you are looking for anything close to customer service, customer satisfaction and quality product. If Intex is truly produces the finest quality inflatable products in the world you might want consider catching a flight to another planet.

United States | 31 May 2019If I could, I'd give no star rating. My friend and I independently purchased Dura-Beam Standard inflatable mattresses and none of them works. We tested them immediately after purchase and they were ok, but immediately upon second use they just didn't hold air. The warranty is not stated on the box, we can't return them to the place of purchase (Walmart) and the customer service representative was useless. After 20 minutes of waiting on the phone, she barely spoke English, couldn't get me to anyone else and told me I should purchase a new one, suggesting it is a regular occurrence that this product is sold as faulty. As if I would ever buy anything from this company again.
