Scout did help us get over the line with our mortgage, and our broker was friendly when we chatted. However communication was poor, and communication could only be started over email as the phone did not work. Even then it took a few days to get replies, and often they got mixed up as to who and where we were in the process. We got a discount for being NHS, however we're still not sure it was worth the money considering others were offering consultation free of charge.

What great service and attention! Our broker Nicos Prountzou was easy to work alongside to achieve our goals. Hanniah was also helpful in getting us to where we needed to be. Having a human voice at the end of the phone whom anticipates obstacles and jumps in to help solve them has helped to create a long standing working relationship which we will continue to appreciate and repeat in years to come.

Our advisor, Ollie, was extremely knowledgeable and professional but friendly which really put us at ease as first time buyers. His advice on which service to go for was always personalised and impartial and it was clear that a lot of care and attention had gone into each report. Ollie also gave us different options based on our circumstances so we could weigh up each option. SFS have been extremely patient with us and answered all of our questions, no matter how trivial! It completely took the stress away of finding and applying for a mortgage, and we have recommended SFS to many people already. We really like that there is a one off lifetime fee, which is extremely reasonable, and we will definitely be using them again once our fixed rate comes to an end. We cannot recommend them enough!

We were put on to scout through yopa and we were given lee schneider as our mortgage advisor and from the start lee was honest with us what was achievable which we worked on got the mortgage for relocating from England to Scotland which is not an easy process and most companies don't want anything to do with for the complicated process but lee said no problem we can sort it so 3 days after the mortgage surveyor went out our seller pulled out in Scotland so in a mad panic rang lee to tell him and he said no problem we will have another look for you wich at this point scout had been paid for already for the previous application but did not matter to lee he certainly went above and beyond for us and cannot thank lee and the scout family for the help in our relocation
