I mistakenly placed an order for the wrong part. The sales team caught and quickly resolved the issue by directing me to the correct parts.

Their communication is terrible. It is impossible to talk to someone to resolve an issue. Ordering was easy, shipping was fast, but God help you if you have a problem with your order and need to try to resolve it.

I just recently installed the SPELAB 2.5 inch Remote Dual Electric Vacuum Valve Electric Exhaust Cutout Kit on my 2013 535i xdrive and I love it! First of all, SPELAB's customer service was great; they are fast to respond and will ensure everything is correct with your order. Originally, one of the cutout valves would not open all the way and SPELAB sent an entirely new set of cutouts, no questions asked. They did not even require me to send back the old cutouts. As far as the product, it is high quality and works as intended. I had my local exhaust shop weld them in right before my mufflers. The wiring was easy and I was able to snake the vacuum lines through a little grommet that leads to the trunk. From there, I zip-tied the vacuum box to the frame of the car next to the fuse box. You can use the cigarette lighter plug that it comes with, or you can cut it off and put it directly to a switch in the fuse box like I did. I even paired the remote for the valves to the garage door opener on my rearview mirror for easy use. When opened, the car is much louder. When closed, the car sounds completely stock. I will use these on every car I own from now on!

Customer service was very quick to respond and shipped a warranty item quick aswell.

My cutout exhaust stopped working. I was sent a new remote and control box immediately at no charge. However, that hasn’t fixed the problem. Customer service has been great so far. Now I need more help though. Please help. Thank you.

Had an issue with my control box or remote for my cutouts. Emailed SPELAB and the next day they responded, diagnosed my problem, and sent me a new control box and remote at no charge. Thank you for your timely response and sending the replacement part quickly!

Had an issue with a part leaking just needed a fitting from the kit for the fix. Sent an email to customer support day before Thanksgiving. Within 4 days after had a complete new kit. My hat is off with Spelab. Will tell everyone that you can't beat the customer support team there . And thank you again for the quick response to my problem 👍

I ordered a kit and later found they offered an upgraded kit. I sent an email and they very quickly responded that they had switched out the kits before it was shipped. Great service and very responsive.

I order shorty headers for a 5.7l hemi ram 1500. I was made to believe this was a US based company but my payment was flagged as an international transaction. When I asked, they lied to me and said they are based in US but material suppliers are in China and Japan but the merchant account would be US if that was the case. The driver side was a nightmare to install and is a very poor design. The 3 broken manifold bolts were easier to remove than installing the new bolts and the bolts they give are sketchy at best, I wouldn't trust them to hold anything in place. I had to cut a notch for one bolt hole due to having no clearance between the pipes and the hole. I also had to buy an extra long flex head ratcheting wrench for one bolt. After 3 days of working on the driver side, I go to install the passenger side and it doesn't fit. No possible way of getting it in. I contacted Spelab and they kept responding with written and video instructions for BBK brand headers but the header I had was built completely different than the one in the instructions and had zero clearance between the head and the upper control arm mounts. I asked for a refund at the same time and purchased new stock manifolds and had them installed the same day before Spelab would respond again. By the way, they only respond in the middle of the night and only once per night, even if you immediately respond back. They did issue a refund and don't want the headers back because they know they're not a quality product. The refund is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars, otherwise it would be 1.

I bought a up and down pipe kit for a duramax. So to keep it short it’s a pos please don’t waist your money here. My truck will be sitting in the driveway until I get another kit in to complete because this one does not fit anywhere. So cheap. After reading spelab’s response, I’d love to respond myself, but I don’t know how to do that so I’ll edit my original post to add to it. You guys are a joke. This is the first product that I’ve ever bought from this company and it was in such bad shape from fitment to size to where it supposed to go to anything that came with it when I say this is a such a piece of junk it literally will not work for this truck. I understand you guys try to make things cheap for people to afford things but this right here is done nothing but cost me money because I have to do it all over again and it looks like I’m stuck with a $300 piece of crap that you guys said would work on my truck. I hardly ever leave reviews but I went out of my way to make sure people know that this product is garbage and I’ll continue to let every body know that this product is garbage and I’ll go out of my way to make sure nobody buys from this company. I’ve bought cheaper knockoff stuff before but this one was not even usable in any way.
