I love the availability of staff and convenient locations (Esp. S. Rochester Rd. at Avon). In addition, I enjoy the reward perks from using my debit and credit cards for purchases. Keep up the good works! I would recommend Genisys Credit Union to all. :D

Been helpful and courteous. Have helped with several issues I had. Some problems setting up auto pays and new card issues. Not perfect but the best I have had in many years.

My HOA account was completely drained by Fraudulent activity. The lost prevention team noted the activity and stopped the ATM. Because the account and ATM card is only used during seasonal months the fraud was undetected by myself! By the time I Discovered the events the timeframe to recover my HOA money had lapsed! I feel that the lost prevention team should have used better judgment and actually made sure I was contacted! Myself and the other 80 HOA residents have zero interest in conducting business with this credit union personally or otherwise!

The associates at every branch I’ve used have been very informed and very resourceful in responding to concerns , performing transactions, and processing loans. Our travels have been greatly improved with the use of our travel checking account and debit card. I couldn’t imagine a better credit union. Over the course of many years I’ve tried over a dozen credit unions, Genisys is the best!

Big Bill Pay Frustration: Dislike that I can't send or deliver funds to a Payee on a weekend or a holiday. Do computers have bankers hours, too?? Also, couldn't apply for a mortgage for one more year than anywhere else we checked in to after our short sale (3 years prior), although it wasn't due to failure to pay and they know the most about our financial history! And, the other dislike that stands out is making members feel like criminals when cashing checks and placing a hold on certain ones. Ones we have been cashing from the same places for months. Finally when we asked them why they wanted to know, a kind employee told us they could place a note on our account to put us on their "safe list"....

I can say Genisys is helping bank that reach you at youer critical moment .Recently the bank finance me to buy an auto.The process took only couples of hour.Therfore,i really recomend this bank. .

I really wanted to give a 41/2 stars. I think Genisys does an excellent job but I think they could lighten up on some of the rules they have in place. Last year I wrote some checks after depositing my check in afamily center atm not knowing that the checks wouldn't clear for three days and my checks bounced naturally and I was left with a huge no overdraft fee which I paid off never missing a payment or being late with a payment. So I inquired about the check protection and they told me it was up to the bank manager if she or he would extend this service back to me. So I'm still waiting to hear the decision that was made on my behalf. They could improve by getting literature about bank transactions with family centers.

I was a member of our Credit Union for many years and never got a penny from them. I received many charges and a parking ticket! I have to say that some cashiers were very kind at Washington Ave branch, but when they started charging me for my checking account, that was it. I am very happy to have moved to Genisys a little over a year, and I only have compliments for the staff on the Main street at Royal Oak.

I Love my credit union!!! Only wish that the Royal Oak location had a drive through window. Have recommended to others and this was an issue for mom's with small children that did not want to go inside every time.

I am and always have been happy with the 800 phone line customer representatives. Everyone I have ever spoken with has been very professional, helpful and kind. However, I cannot say the same about my branch, the Blue Bell, PA office. In the 1900's and early 2000's that branch was managed by Ed. Unfortunately, I do not remember his last name, but I do remember his kindness and professionalism. And, while he was managing that branch his staff acted the same way. However, sadly Ed passed away in the early 2000's and one of his long time representatives, Wendy was promoted to manager and since then that branch has had a unwelcoming and nasty stench to it. I stopped going to that branch because it became of 'free for all' of bad behavior and unprofessionalism. I started using shared branches of TruMark Financial and American Heritage which have been wonderful to work with. I recently called the Blue Bell Branch and spoke with Wendy and unfortunately the stench is still palpable in that branch and I will never call or go there again. I will also at some point switch to one of the credit unions noted above. It's ashame that I will have to find a new credit union because of the poor customer service offered in the Blue Bell PA office. You should bring someone new in to run that branch in a more professional, customer friendly and welcoming office. Or, at the very least should be consistently auditing it to ensure it is being run as a professional office. It is the only local branch on the east coast so they really don't have anyone to answer to and this has been going on for 15 years. Very disappointed that in this day and age your organization hasn't closed its doors in Blue Bell.

As always Marie,(maiden name Woods) is an outstanding. Customer Services Representative. I suggest that you keep her employed because there are many folks that are not customer friendly yet thorough in handling the business at hand. She does both.

When I first joined Genisys CU (T&C Federal CU back then), you had morning and evening hours at the Oxford location. Now, you are like many of the other banks with hours that benefit the employees, not the members. This is a real concern as there are times when I wish to speak with a representative in person but the hours do not work for those who work out of town. As Oxford is a "sleeper" community to the city (people live/sleep in Oxford but work in the city), I would think that GCU mgmt would consider the needs of their community "and put us first" when determining branch hours. Also, the last several times I have stopped at the Oxford branch in the a.m. (between 8-830am) to use the drive up ATM, it has been "out of service" which I assume is to refill the machine. Again, for those of us driving to the city for work, we find this inconvenient. It has happened so frequently, I have been using Lakes CU in Lake Orion for the free drive up ATM instead. All.of this begs the question: why do I stay with GCU? I have several business accounts with you as well as my family members have several personal accounts with you. The lack of convenience and the various charges (which are now at the same levels as we find as other local banks) now put GCU on the same level with no advantage over "the banks." I would be happy to speak with Customer Relations management (no mid level reps please, only someone who can influence change) should they be interested.
