I have utilized several benefits of being member of credit union- financial planning, transferring to higher yield checking..had to go to bank regarding fraud and matter was handled within 24 hours. I definitely would recommend Genisys Credit union to others.

I'm moving to a different bank because of the changes that were made to the bill payment portal. I have to track a physical check that is sent from my account and figure out what date it has been cleared. Prior to the changes I could choose the date I wanted the money to be electronically transferred from my account or I could even choose the date I wanted electronic funds to be received at the business or person of my choosing. The money was automatically deducted from my account and I did not need to track my balance or balance my bill payment portal like you do a manual check book. Now I just write checks and mail them because what's the point of using the electronic system if it prints a physical check that I have to follow and make sure my balance on my account is correct instead of electronically transferring funds?

If I could have chosen zero stars I would have! That's what this joke of a buisness deserves. They are a bunch of scamming, cold hearted, immoral, liars. After my mom past away suddenly I decided to get rid of the vehicle I was driving that was in her name. After doing so my father and I still had her vehicle to deal with. They financed her car through the jerks at Genysis. My father called to see where they were at with the loan and they were like 4 months away from owning it. They offered to finance a vehicle for him again anytime even referred him to a dealership they deal with alot. We went there thinking we were going to be happy with our choice to go there and glad that we chose to deal with these people again not even thinking we were walking into a scam. Yep a "yo-yo scam" to be exact. That's what our attorney we have hired called what they are trying to pull on us. I'm not going to go into further details because I get so angry every time I go into detail the way they treated us and how they took advantage of a trusting, vulnerable, grieving family. They only care about their commission check or bonuses. They have no compassion nor do they have souls.

I would have rated a 5 star, but nothing is ever "perfect". I was a USA Credit Union member when it merged with General Motors C.U. Needless to say I was very wary of what might happen, especially after having been through the grinder on miserable banking institutions and being very happy with USACU. Honestly, it took a bit of time for me to warm up to the new Genisys union, but I now do not hesitate to say they are THE BEST! Always there, always ready to serve my financial needs, and always THE BEST rates on loans and cards. Kim and the crew at the Marysville branch are the cream of the crop, and they have the best smiles too! Thank you for giving me all the reasons I need, and more, to stay with Genisys.
