United Kingdom | 14 June 2024Found it incredibly difficult to find information about the bills we’d be paying, which essentially left us with no option but to accept the most expensive package.

United Kingdom | 12 June 2024Huddle is the best in terms of shared apartments utilities bills, when moving to my current apartment, I was worried that I may be overcharged because we are four tenants living in the apartment, so Huddle was able to share the bills accordingly and equally. Secondly they are friendly in terms of payment and payment plan.

United Kingdom | 11 June 2024Many reasons not to go with Huddle. They kept changing the price we were going to pay per month even after we had agreed on a lower price. They then got funny when we said we werent going to pay £155 per person per month (our bills without Huddle work out around £60 per person per month!) as we were in a contract even though none of us had signed a contract. After a lot of calling they eventually let us leave but we still had to pay wifi because apparently Huddle pay this upfront. Throughout the contract they failed to update my account and my payments meaning I got letters threatening to take action against me if I did not pay even though I had! I got no apology for this and this kept happening. Throughout the time I have been with them I have had to waste so much time sorting out basic problems which shouldnt be happening. An untrustworthy, extortionate and unhelpful company. Would not recommend. It is so much easier and cheaper to go straight with the local water board and a separate energy company (e.g. octopus) and you get better customer service.

United Kingdom | 04 June 2024During the cost of living crisis huddle has helped me and flatmates to worry less about changes in prices as we had a fixed bills. Moreover, as huddle includes all my bills in one bundle, it was hassle free and easy to use.

United Kingdom | 29 May 2024Huddle has been great to use this year. We had a few queries regarding billing early on and they were so easy to get in touch with and really helpful. The website is so easy to use once signed up as well and it’s great you can check your billing and energy usage on there. Would definitely recommend.

United Kingdom | 17 May 2024Charged us money we didn’t owe, scam company stay away. We are university students and the flat we are staying in use ovo Energy. We have been receiving countless letters texts from huddle saying that we owe the money from the 1st of July 2023 to The 4th of July 2023. Our tenancy only started on the 1st of July and no one was there in that four day period so I am not sure how any payment of electric should be taken. We have also paid ovo energy monthly from the start state of our tenancy. Despite this and not signing up to any huddle account and never hearing about Huddle from our landlord or letting agent, We have received a letter saying they will go to court if we do not pay. One flatmate paid out of fear which is what this scamming company have done. I want a refund Account number 279200. Never signed up to this don’t even know what account this is??

United Kingdom | 07 May 2024Company confirmed awareness that the property is a HMO, and all utility bills are included in the rent. The HMO had approximately 11 residents and operated as a drug/trap/cuckooing house for a while, much to the dismay of myself and the rest of the tenants. Property managers take the rent, turn a blind eye to everything, and evade paying utilitiy companies and other contractors. Knowing this, Huddle "traced" and speculatively billed me, the autistic tenant, over all the other tenants, having failed to engage with the property managers. Huddle were aware of said vulnerability after sending one of their agents round last year. The topic of disability arose, in addition to the property managers shirking responsibilities, as I too had difficulty being paid for repair works made to the property. -Edit- Correction, now £6,726.99

United Kingdom | 03 May 2024My experience with Huddle has been terrible. Despite my balance being £1476.45, they agreed to monthly payments of £123.04 for up to 12 months via direct debit from Feb-23 to Jan-24. However, they continued to charge me in April-24, even though the direct debit term had ended. When I complained, they claimed I had another account linked to an address I had never lived at, adding £550 to my balance. Since Feb-24, this communication has persisted without any resolution. It's clear to me now that these people are nothing but swindlers.

United Kingdom | 24 April 2024I am a landlord and unfortunately my tenants moved to Huddle for gas and electricity. Huddle keep sending me invoices for estimated usage. I have explained many times over the past 9 months that the estimated figures are in excess of the actual readings. Actual readings are confirmed by 3rd party images which I have forwarded. As it happens Huddle owe me a refund but they can't get to grips with this! What an incompetant company. Steer well clear. Be very careful with Huddle standing charges - their standing charge for electricity is 62p per day, for gas it's 32.7p per day. Over 1 year that's £226 for electricity and £119 for gas - £345 just for standing charges for gas and electricity. Think very hard before using this split billing company.
