United Kingdom | 08 September 2020Contract ended with Huddle back in June, I am still waiting to hear back from Huddle about our final bills. I have chased this multiple times since the End of June, the latest being on the 21st of AUG with No response yet!! Usually takes them well over a week to respond and they are Very difficult to try contact over the phone with usually very long wait times. Had numerous errors from Huddle throughout the contract and a lot of time trying to correct these. Biggest issue being a technician they sent to install smart meters came in March to install and Huddle never updated the database so when the time came to switch we were unable to do this as the records were completely wrong with our usage being way over what we have ever used!! Would never recommend Huddle to any friends or family.

United Kingdom | 05 September 2020If I could rate Huddle 0 stars I would. My contract with them ended on 30th June. I filled out the form on the website saying I'd be moving out of that house on the same day so wouldn't be using their services any more. Nevertheless they charged me £47 (a month's payment) on 15th July. Uhh what? I e-mailed them immediately and they said my refund would be added to my final statement. They did take my card off the system so I haven't been wrongfully charged since then but I never should have been wrongfully charged in the first place considering I cancelled my subscription! It has been two months now and that final statement is nowhere to be seen even though I must have e-mailed them about it 5 times now. So I'm still missing £47. I know I'm not the only person with this problem because after asking my university's local Facebook group several people were complaining of the same issue. Seriously stay clear of this company!!!!!!! I'm giving them one more week to sort this out or I'm contacting my bank. And I'll make sure to warn every student I meet to stay clear of this company :) Edit: Despite them asking for my details through Trustpilot Huddle still haven't given my money back! Looks like they don't actually care about helping their customers - who would have thought? Have fun with my bank.

We were expecting to get money back at the end of our tenancy as we believed we were quite strict on our bills usage. However, all 6 of were left with hefty bills of around £90 each at the end of our tenancy for overusing even though we weren't even there for half the year because of COVID! Terrible company, should be ashamed ripping off students.

United Kingdom | 03 September 2020Currently sitting 13th in the queue to call customer service for the 4th time regarding my issues They double charged us for one month and no refund after being called. After asking for the tenancy start date to be changed they still charged us on the wrong start date. Overall we have been charged 4 months of utilities for the 2 months since we've moved in. After asking for a leaving statement in order to switch to a different supplier they didn't send after a week and when I called them again they said it hadn't even been requested. This has happened twice now. All emails regarding this were ignored. Avoid at all costs. What started as a temporary sign up in order to switch when we first moved in has been dragged out into an ongoing 2 month saga

Tatiana saw this and apologised for my circumstances as well as waiving the late fee I normally would have accrued. iw as made to feel respected and understood, but more than that: I felt like a real person whose feelings mattered. Both years ended up with me being in credit and the reimbursement was not difficult although did take a few weeks to come through. Would recommend to students who don't know their housemates they are moving in with.

The process to set up with them was easy and I think the overall cost was fair (it saves a lot of hassle in a student house for huddle to do it all for you!). We received a refund after both years, as we were quite frugal with our energy and gas. The refunds did take a while to be received to us but that’s fine I guess. Only issue is that sometimes they can take a while to answer emails but in our experience that wasn’t a problem. Overall, very happy! Great product/service which saved a lot of stress as a student.

United Kingdom | 21 August 2020I wish I could leave a 0 star review - DONT USE HUDDLE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF! during my tenancy, their service was fine, however the process to leave has been one of the worst experiences. They take weeks to reply to emails, and when you ring up to check, they claim they haven't received them. They have sent us wrong end of tenancy statements and when we questioned, they took even longer to respond. Huddle then incorrectly charged our accounts without our consent and while we were still in conversation with them disputing this amount. Nearly 2 months after the end of the tenancy and we are still waiting to hear about these disputes regarding statements. Furthermore, talking on the phone to them is a horrible experience. They take ages to answer and are rude while you are expressing your concern, again.

United Kingdom | 20 August 2020I had an okay experience with Huddle - having the Smart Meters installed in our student house was much easier than manually reporting all readings, and the staff I spoke to were nice, friendly and helpful. However, long waits on their phone line and a lack of response to some emails meant Huddle could be hard to contact sometimes. Additionally, for some reason we did not receive our final bill until about 5 weeks after our contract ended and are still yet to be paid the money owed (we used less than we paid for)

United Kingdom | 20 August 2020If I could leave a 0 star review I would. Their service during my tenancy was perfectly acceptable, but their after tenancy care is the worst I have ever experienced. They take weeks to reply to emails, have send us incorrect end of tenancy bill statements and when we questioned the statements they take even longer to reply. Huddle then incorrectly charged our accounts to the sum of nearly £150 without out consent and whilst we were in conversation regarding the end of tenancy. Nearly 2 months on and we are still in disputes regarding the payments and statements. Their tactic is to purposely confuse their customers and try to get the last pennies out of them at the end of the tenancy. 0/10 for communication. Avoid using Huddle.
