Huddle is very efficient and a quick easy way to pay for all your bills in one place. You get money back at the end of the contract as long as you don’t go over your energy usage. The portal is also convenient as you can view your energy usage graphs and submit meter readings easily there each month. Sometimes there are issues with the different tenants paying different amounts but if you call them and tell them, they will correct the issue very quickly and, if necessary, refund you quickly too.

Untrustworthy - BEWARE! We were customers of Huddle for a year between 2022 and 2023. We paid our balance on time every month. Nearly 9 months after our tenancy ended, we were alerted that we had an outstanding balance of £36 despite having had a rebate at the end of our tenancy. After querying this, we were told the outstanding balance is actually in fact £142 due to an error in Huddle's IT system that occurred in July 2022. We paid all of our bills on time and are concerned that this error was not picked up sooner and why a rebate was given in September 2023 at the final bill when there was this outstanding balance. You would think in the 14 months after the initial error, the IT error would have been identified and rectified as we would have been happy to pay any outstanding balance when we received the final bill. In fact, we actually had to chase Huddle for the final bill a number of times because we wanted to settle the bill and cut all ties with Huddle as we had permanently relocated. As a result of having experienced 3 errors due to their IT system, we can not trust them as a service and would wholeheartedly not recommend them, or the headache which comes with using them as energy suppliers. Little apology has been made for the error from their end and after the final bill in September 2023, we had hoped all correspondence with Huddle would stop.

The call I had with Helena was extremely helpful, she found out the answer to my problem very quickly and was able to inform me of the situation in the simplest terms so that I could understand. She provided ideal customer service and was lovely.

Terrible and ridiculous emails keep bothering me! First, five days before the end of the contract, huddle changed the energy supplier to itself without any notice. Then they began to charge me for the following months based on the tenant contract. Even so, there were five tenants in all, and they kept hassling me because I was the only one who kindly replied to them. And then even I reply that I can pay my part. They still want me to pay the full amount. And they only put my name on the invoice to try to make it look like I am fully responsible for that. I tried to explain but they just kept saying I am responsible for all. So what about the other four tenants? I strongly advise you not to choose this company as they just want to find a man to chase money, they keep bothering you for no reason even if you are so tired and then willing to pay your own part.

Students beware - my housemate signed up to this company without the knowledge or permission of me. The rates are double the price of any other supplier and there is nothing we can do about it apparently. I did not sign up for the package and yet am being charged ridiculous prices which seem to be just made up figures. After four months we’re still trying to get a correct bill. Had four different bills so far for different amounts trying to charge £2,700 for 4 months of use which, based on the meter readings provided by them, is wrong as there was only £600 of usage based on average cost/kwh. The company is a blatant scam praying on the naivety of students.

Ever since I moved here in U.K huddle is our energy provider. It gives you the freedom to choose the tariff that suits you the best.Also,they are one of the most lowest rate energy provider I've known. On top of that, what I loved the most is their costumer service that whatever or whenever your concern is they also make sure to accommodate you as soon as they can in very politely way. Keep it up and more power to the whole huddle family. Cheers everyone!.

We've been with Huddle with many years, and have remained with them as they've been consistently transparent with price changes through uncertain times and ensured a competitive tarriff. Whenever I've used the customer service, they've always been helpful.

Students please avoid this company! They have suddenly added nearly £700 of additional electricity charges to our account for previously billed periods (over summer when no one was living there) claiming previous bills had been too low. Has a smart meter but they were using estimated readings too low for years, including the opening reading and they say it’s too late to amend that now so charging us for catchup for previous tenants’ use. Opposite situation with gas reading which would have resulted in a credit to us, but they amended the opening reading on that to give themselves the benefit. Overall we have been greatly overcharged and the customer service has been terrible!!! Just email after email returned with seemingly no understanding or concern for the queries raised. And still no resolution offered to correct the bills. I will have to pursue with ombudsman but please be warned!!
