*******UPDATE************ Received a reply from cycle exchange (below), who refunded the costs for shipping damage. I followed the packing advice given by cycle exchange but it was noted by them that the advice requires updating and does not cover mountain bikes. I wouldn’t send another bike to them but I would buy from them again. Unedited original review follows: **********ORIGINAL REVIEW************** Shipped my bike using a bike box and lots of packing. Parcel farce managed to hit the box hard enough to bend a brake rotor and take lots of paint off the frame. Cycle exchange wouldn’t even attempt to claim as “parcel farce always say it wasn’t packed properly”. Effectively there is no insurance for shipped items. Cost me £100 but I’m glad it wasn’t a carbon frame or something. The exchange bike arrived with no issues and is as described, saving a star.

From the start of my initial inquiry to the end of the sale all members of staff that I spoke with were 100% professional and gave prompt reply's to my emails. I would recommend Cycle Exchange without hesitation.

Superb service both when I brought in my bike for part exchange and also when later using the credit to buy one of their used ones. The bike, despite being from 2013, was in perfect condition and looked almost like new.
