It came fairly quickly. I would have given 5 stars if the original order had come complete. But... I love my Model E!

United States | 26 November 2022Glass holder is the fixed one and not that great. Bike is awesome. Works well. My wife and or niece ride often on HB or LB bike path and sometimes at El Darado Park. Front brake sqeaks. I brought it back the 3rd day or so to have it fixed and the tech replaced pads but still ended up the same.

United States | 19 November 2022I wavered between ratings of a 3 and 5. We ordered 2 bikes. The process on 1 bike was a 5. The rating on the 2 bike was a 3 so I gave the overall rating a 4. EBC built and delivered 2 beautiful bikes within the stated delivery. The quality is amazing. The bikes are super easy to unpack and ride like a dream. There is an extremely small chip in the paint that will be easily repaired when I order touch up paint. My issue with one bike was the fenders. I ordered a Model E 24” bike with fenders. It appeared as if EBC used 26” fenders. This resulted in an unsightly gap between the fenders and tires. Darrell with Logan Martin ElecTrek worked with EBC and they replaced the tires with 26”. Two thoughts here 1) I was a bit surprised that EBC thought the gap was acceptable and 2) if I hadn’t had Darrell, who worked with me throughout the process, I feel certain EBC would have made it right, but I would not have been able to replace the tires. This might have resulted in additional cost at a bike shop. Also when going through the build process online the gap is not represented in the design. Just added info regarding the total experience: during this change over to 26” tires I had the option of a different color tire that I didn’t have on the 24” inch. This meant I was no longer satisfied with my fender color and paid extra to change. This was by choice, but still extra money that I would not have spent if the original fenders fit. At the end of all this I want to repeat. The bikes are quality and amazing. I am a happy camper! We have only ridden about 70 miles due to weather, but again these bikes are fun to ride

United States | 16 November 2022I researched a lot of companies and bikes before going with EBC, and am very happy with their product and customer service. I have the Model X with the 7-speed option, for a short commute with rolling hills. Overall it’s a solid bike, but there are a few minor improvements that can be made: 1) I swapped the gear thumb shifter and brake lever on the hand grip from the way it was delivered. The shifter was closer to the hand and was in the way when braking with the short brake lever. Once reversed it’s no longer in the way, and the shifter is still easily accessible. In my opinion, this is the way they should deliver 7-speed option bikes. 2) I have issues, and I’ve seen others comment similarly, with the chain jumping off the front ring when shifting. I maintain my own bikes, have rebuilt a few, and am very good at adjustments to prevent chain jumping and shifting issues. On bikes with front derailleurs I’m able to just shift the chain back in place while it starts to jump, but with the X (and no front derailleur) it jumps and gets jammed down by the bottom bracket area. I have tried the usual fixes. Though the frame design prevents a basic chain guide from being well-placed, I did put one behind the chain ring to prevent excess chain bouncing. That’s helped reduce the issue, but it’s still an issue which I don’t have on other bikes. I think the geometry might require a cassette spacer, a 5-speed cassette instead of 7, or a chain guide may be needed just above/before the chain ring- possibly built into the chainguard. I’ll try a custom guide on the guard next. Other than this issue, which only applies to the 7-speed option and which I’m sure they can figure out a small design improvement to help avoid it, I am very happy with everything.

United States | 16 November 2022I purchased an electric bike scooter last season and it’s already garbage. Used it maybe 5 times and the rear wheel bent and now I’m being told it’s a $350 part. Keep in mind the unit is $800.. Also the battery is already shot and needs a new battery as well which was quoted $300 as well. Beware when purchasing these as when I called them the manager said he’s sorry there’s nothing they can do for me?? Very unhappy and hope this company steps it up!!

The staff was very helpful answering questions before our purchase. The bikes were shipped, packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. One of the chargers was having an issue and EBC had a new one sent out immediately. We love our bikes. I highly recommend them!
