Ever notice that there is a "beeping" noise on the other end of the phone when someone from Personnel Concepts calls? They are recording the phone calls OR are making you believe they are recording the call as a scare tactic. In some states, without both parties consent, recording the phone call is illegal: Eleven (11) states require the consent of everybody involved in a conversation or phone call before the conversation can be recorded. Those states are: California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Washington. If they call you again, and you hear that beep - tell them if they are recording you, they do not have your consent to record the conversation and hang up. If they are recording the conversations for "Quality Assurance" they need to announce they are doing so at the beginning of the phone conversation. I never recall such an announcement. Therefore, they are not following government guidelines. Tell them so, and hang up.

I receive endless calls from this company, multiple times a day from this company's 1-800 number. When I finally answered after weeks of phone calls I was told I need to order their compliance posters from them for local inspections. First it was $24.00. Then they kept sending me posters that were never requested. Soon it was $200 owed. When I told them I never placed an order they insisted I did. I requested to return the items they sent to me and was told I couldn't return anything. They could never send me accurate invoices, they couldn't provide information of what had been paid to date. I speak with a different person in the billing department every day they call me so can't get consistent information. In my final conversation with their billing person she wouldn't let me speak, kept talking over me, and her response to me was "Whatever Michelle!" I told her everything I have read about the company online being fraudulent but she, Jesse, did not care.

Watch out because they never identify themself as from Personnel Concepts. Instead they use your lack of knowledge to believe if you don’t purchase their literature right then you will get in trouble/ fined. I don’t appreciate how these employees operate on the phone but I’m realistic in knowing it isn’t their fault and they are just a representative of how they are trained and the culture that the decision makers within their business have created. In reaction I refuse to do business with them or be affiliated with any company that operates in that manner. In March I told them to please stop calling us and I even followed up by contacting them telling them to please stop contacting my restaurant but they still haven’t. Now they are calling saying we have a past invoice that needs to be paid from June. This means they either sent something out on their own and are now charging us again. The other option is they kept calling after I requested it to stop until they reached an employee that gave them the okay. Either way both are wrong and taking too much of my time. No need to post a response that says you understand and then your contact info saying to contact you by phone or email because when I did in March saying not to call anymore nothing came out of it.

After finding out we could receive our labor law posters for free from our payroll company (which Personnel Concepts would lead you to believe is impossible, despite the HR and legal reps on our board confirming this), we attempted to close our account. I have attempted to close our account a number of times by phone and by mail. All have been unsuccessful and they have continued to contact us trying to sell us more products. It's bordering on harassment. I would never recommend this company.

We bought posters from this company 2 years ago and they haven't stopped calling since. It has gotten particularly bad lately, calling multiple times per week. One woman caller threatened my co-worker that we would have "two government agencies after us and we would be fined if we didn't update our posters". They called again yesterday and I told them we are up to date and they challenged me that we weren't. I said to take us off their list, we are all set. They are EXTREMELY RUDE and pushy. They interrogate you as if they have every right to your company information.

They bullied one of our employees into buying posters from them a few years ago. We noticed that over $500 was spent on labor law posters, some of which are unnecessary for our business and also available elsewhere for free. We requested to cancel our account multiple times and made all employees aware as they will try to speak to different people. Their customer service representatives make the calls sound very urgent and threaten fines, so our employees were understandably alarmed. I informed them that their behavior was harassment and we changed our address and blocked their phone number, but they continue to find ways to contact us and scare our employees. One of our employees actually took a leave of absence as a result of the harassment she received by customer service representatives from this company. She is fearful of returning to her role in answering the phones until this issue with them is resolved. This harassment has continued for at least two years and it feels as if this nightmare will never end. We have decided to speak with a legal representative to pursue other options. If you are contacted by this company, hang up immediately and block their number.

Don't pay for anything here. All the items they sell are obtainable, free of charge, from state as well as federal websites. You're basically paying for them to print these forms and laminate them.

Fraudulent company. They keep calling and harrassing us and I have documented or the past 6 months each time (13 to be exact) that I have asked them to stop calling us. They keep telling me it takes 8-10 weeks to remove our name from their system. I guess they also can't count since it has been 27 weeks, since our first request. After all, we received a bill today for over $200 for a package we never received or ordered for that matter. When I called to ask about it today, I was told that I personally approved this order. I asked for proof of this as it never happened and I was put on hold for over 30 minutes until I hung up. I can't believe that these companies are allowed to do business and get away with this illegal activity. You can get all ot their materials for free from the proper government organizations. What scammers.

DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY. They will harass you constantly day after day, the phone agents are also aggressive and rude. It’s been over a year and I still can’t shake the phone calls. I tried to return an item and still have not received a refund, honestly willing to let my money go to never hear from these people again.

Scam, harassing phone call. Don't order anything from this company. Even don't answer their call. They don't push you to buy the poster, but they force you and threat you to buy the poster. They never stop call you if you do not buy their products even you tell them that you are not interested in them. I got all my posters from my payroll company for free, also some posters can be downloaded from online, why would I pay for them? I hate representatives' attitude, it seems that they are only people who know the law for poster, even better than the lawyer who graduated from a law school. If representatives are better than the lawyers, why do you still work as a customer service? Therefore, please shut your mouths up, don't push, force and threat customers to buy posters. I do not know how come this company can survive, I have never seen any company's review star like this. I am sure they can get negative star if there is the option for it. I will pay some money to consult my lawyer later if they still nonstop calling me.

I really wish there was an option for 0 or negative stars. We called and ordered a $5 poster. We then got a call back stating we were required to purchase a package costing over $200. We stated we only wanted the $5 poster we originally ordered. When the rep pushed and pushed we hung up, got a call back from someone else pushing and pushing for us to order the expensive package. We cancelled our order and now we receive daily calls harassing us about ordering the posters. YOU CAN GET THEM ONLINE FOR FREE FROM THE GOVERNMENT!!! Don't fall for the scam. We will be monitoring our credit card in case they try to bill us anyway. Wish we would have seen the reviews before we tried to order originally. I feel bad for anyone who doesn't know better and gets sucked into the scam.

Scam company. Bait and switch. Bought what was represented as all the posters I need in one for $13 unlaminated. Got a call from a woman trying to sound like she was with the government. She told me that I need to spend another $200+dollars bc the poster I ordered didn’t include all the posters. I went back to look at what I ordered and yep, it lists all the posters as included. Everything I need. For $13. The picture shown also shows everything. Now it’s $200+? Nice touch with the woman’s assertive, official sounding tone. Scam company.
