Around 18 months before I had to make a claim for about £1,800 for the other cat who suffered a bladder obstruction. The claim was dealt with promptly and without issue. I had hoped for the same this time round. It was very frustrating that the same query kept being raised by them due to an error in the date of birth for our cat within the vet records. Asking once I could understand, but to keep asking as if we had never answered was unnecessary and led to an increased wait time. The claim has now be settled in full. I do however want to add that I think its very disgusting that if a pet dies during the policy year they deduct the remainder of the premium from the claim proceeds prior to refund. I appreciate their terms state they will do this, but I think its a greedy and disgusting practice. Most insurers refund the unused premiums. I don't understand why they feel it fair or reasonable to do this.

After one of my dogs needed some dental working doing I asked healthy for some assistance to pay the vet bill. Apparently they don’t pay out for dental work. They are quick enough to take your money but don’t like to pay out when it is needed. I am so disappointed in this company. I’ve cancelled my pet insurance now and am going to go elsewhere

Without my knowledge or consent I after ringing them & listening to their recorded messages I eventually spoke to a human ( after much hard navigational skills ) who huffed & bluffed so that I went ballasting at him untill a lot of bull later at my insistence I got a call back from one of their managers ( I don’t think she was ) It was explained that I’d possibly been scammmed by a comparison site if I hadn’t set up all the details myself & then changed my mind and so i insisted they delete any pending or future incidents and confirm this in writing. They promised & yet im still waiting. I rang again & was informed they had posted said confirmation. I don’t believe they did. Avoid this company If you are a customer take your business elsewhere and sorry but if you don’t & you have a problem … I did warn you they were awful
