Healthy Pets Insurance was founded in 1996 by Mark Effenberg, as Chief Executive of a pet-loving business insuring the UK's cats and dogs. Today, Healthy Pets, which was founded before Google, is an established participant in the £1 billion-plus UK pet insurance market. It was very easy to set up direct debit and very good price for my 3 dogs. I’m actually having second thoughts now as I’m reading a lot of negative comments when it comes to claiming? EDIT Called customer service and the girl answering had no interest in keeping me as customer or assisting me and clearly could not wait to get me off the phone so I’ve cancelled my policy and can only give one star as not possible to give zero stars.

Absolutely useless. Renewal of insurance. I emailed twice to ask why it’s gone up and if there is anything they can do and no response. Rang the renewals line multiple times and no one answers after holding for an age. Finally get through when I had time to hold for 25 minutes and got through to a passionless worker who just says all I can do is go somewhere else to get a better price. Background. I have never made a claim and my dog has never been I’ll yet to increase £100 for a young dog doesn’t make sense. This is £200 more than anyone else. I stayed loyal for 3 years but you are just trying to rip off customers. My advise is to elsewhere and check the fine print for coverage. Policy number 0914/284655. Update. You advise contact the email which no one replies to for weeks?. I emailed and I even got the generic it goes up and nothing you can do.

Absolutely ridiculous. Over 2 months since the treatment and still waiting for them to settle a claim and 3 phone calls that I’ve been fobbed off on, I’m over £600 down. Beyond useless and not fit for purpose. I will be leaving! Please don’t send your standard respond saying email us….. I have done! You do nothing!!!
