Agreed to an am appointment today. Phoned at 1240 and was told we would be the next appointment- 1500 nobody showed up - phoned the company and was told the appointment had been cancelled. Zero out of ten - never using again

United Kingdom | 28 August 2024Don’t bother with this company . We booked a middle of day visit , nobody arrived and we received no call or notification. We called and were told yes we should still expect technician to arrive by 6pm . Then received a call apologising and telling us to expect first call in morning between 8-9am . At 9:15 again after no arrival and no call we followed up to be told technician would be with us by noon . The call handler this morning was very abrupt and rather rude . Very poor service all round . Avoid this company .

United Kingdom | 28 August 2024Peter from Aerial Force came to sort out our TV signal issues today, finding it to be caused by tall trees blocking the signal to the Sky dish - he quickly resolved the issue by creating a new platform for the dish, which now sits in a higher position. He was absolutely fabulous, very professional, explained everything and completed the work straight away for a good price. We now have a full selection of TV channels and excellent picture quality!

With the right tools and some muscles we could have done the job ourselves, BUT we definitely would not have done it as efficiently and quickly Tom did it. His mastery in wall mounting was very clear to see and he left us satisfied and confident that the telly is safe on the wall. Worth all the money.

United Kingdom | 23 August 2024I had an engineer of Aerialforce come attend to what I described as a “faulty Ethernet port in my wall”. Upon his arrival, he double checked the end of the ethernet from the router and in my office and said all was in order. He then mentioned to me that the cable must be faulty and not the ethernet Port in wall. We changed the cables and still had no internet connection. Aerialforce engineer then started trying to sell me wireless plug and play technology and wanted to demo it to me as an alternative which I entertained. He then mentioned that “most people would die to have an 70-80 mb line” even though I said to him I have a 1gb line (which I pay a lot of money) for gaming and need my ethernet cable to work as per problem statement. Upon pushing this same “wireless end to end point tech” I said that would not fix my root cause and asked why we could not just replace the ethernet port in the wall which after the third time I was saying is the issue. Aerialforce engineer then said that was not the issue as he had checked all crimps on the ethernet port in the wall and said I need a new cable which are all hidden in the walls when I had the house built. He then started talking about various options of drilling holes in the wall to install a new cable from the router to the ethernet port which I said defeated the point of having the cable installed in the wall. After several references from myself, that I believe the issue is the ethernet point in wall, Aerialforce engineer said he could not fit one as he did not have any on him and would require him to source which I found odd as that is exactly what I highlighted when I called Aerialforce in terms of what service I needed. After establishing that the engineer was not listening to what I was saying and I don’t believe being able to do the work, I said to him let’s leave it as I don’t want unnecessary drilling in the walls. I was then charged a call out fee of £91 plus VAT (£114) for absolutely no value add from your engineer. I decided post him leaving to review the actual root cause when he left myself, and it was exactly what I said it was. The ethernet point in the wall was not firmly holding the ethernet cable and so the signal was disconnecting. I felt that the engineer did not listen to what I was asking and in essence wasted 1hr30 of my time and money. I called the Aerialforce office to lay a complaint as I think the service was beyond poor and wrote a complaint. It took a chase up from me to only get this response: "Our engineers will attend site and carry out a diagnostic health check and advise of the most efficient route to rectify the fault that will provide longevity. The engineer has attended and provided his recommendations. Unfortunately no refund would be due. " Be aware before you consider using this company as to me its not just about the money, its the principle and their customer service is far from where it should be and in this case their expertise too.

United Kingdom | 22 August 2024Aerialforce is the trading name of Television Aerial Company Ltd. This is the company with whom I have had a very bad experience. I paid £358.80 for 15 minutes work and a aerial booster that I could have bought online for £30.00. I chose Aerialforce because of the shown Trustpilot rating of 4.3 stars. However, I did not know that the other website for Television Aerial Company Ltd. only had a Trustpilot rating of 2.8 stars, even though their website claimed a 5 star rating. Subsequent investigation of the Aerialforce rating shows that the “Excellent”, appear to refer to about 10,110 reviews from about the past 12 years. HOWEVER the figures available on the Trustpilot website, show that during the past year, 19% of the reviews have only given 1 star. In May 2024 10 out of 37, ie 27% of reviews were one star In the past 12 months only 7 out of 537 reviews on the Aerialforce website, 1.3%, have been “Authorised” by Trustpilot meaning that Trustpilot has NOT “verified that the reviewer has had a genuine experience with the business”. In the past 12 months Aerialforce “Flagged” 84 of the one star and two star reviews. My understanding is that this was an attempt to get these removed from their Trustpilot rating. According to trust pilot, 22% of these flaggings turned out to be invalid. The Television Aerial Company website (remember this is the same company) home page showed a Trustpilot rating of 5 stars. HOWEVER, opening up the available “Trustpilot” link under the four green stars on the home page, shows a rating of only 2.8 stars. Trustpilot Star distribution by review source shows 66% of reviews in the past year were one star. TrustPilot now has a notice about this website saying "This company has been displaying Trustpilot content incorrectly" I now notice that there is no longer a Television Aerial Company website. ALSO, the television Aerial Company Ltd., on 30/07.2024 was issued a Gazette notice by the Registrar of Companies stating "that unless cause is shown to the contrary, the company will be struck off the register..." I would guess that this relates to tax returns. Need I say more?

United Kingdom | 20 August 2024We were just moving into our house and wanted a 65” tv fitted to the wall where a 55” had previously been fitted. Mitchel came and did a nice job of fitting it although a bit expensive at £620. Because the removal company were still moving us in and we had not had the Sky installed, nothing was tested. Now we have sky installed and the tv is working ok I needed to connect the Bose sound bar but the connection is at the back of the tv therefore we need the tv to be lifted off the bracket just for 5 minutes while I make the connection. I spoke to James and asked if the engineer could just call in for 5 minutes to do this at no cost while I plug the optical lead in as I had paid £620 just to have it hung on the wall. James said I would have to pay for this but it was up to Mitchel who would contact me, but no one has got back to me. The customer service and after sales support is atrocious for a customer the paid £620 to have a job done that wasn’t complete as we were just moving in and we had no service provide at the time to be able to test everything. 28/08/24. ANOTHER WEEK PASSED AFTER JAMES TELLING ME THE ISSUE WOULD BE RESOLVED BUT NOTHING HAS HAPPENED! Why am I not surprised! 07/0924 Still nothing been done after promises.
