After processing the phone they said there was too many noticeable scratches on the phone - which just simply isn’t true and gave me a new offer much lower than the first. If the phone was scratched then it is likely that it was damaged in transit, in which case they should improve the postage packaging they send. Disappointing.

United Kingdom | 31 August 2022Despite being quoted for an iPad Pro they sent packaging for a mobile phone. I used the original box to keep it safe with lots of padding. The device was in immaculate (cased all it’s life) condition. They confirmed it had arrived so I waited …The service was slow, they were busy and did not work over weekends and bank holidays.. I have just had a revision from £225 to £6.95 due to the damage.. I feel like a fool for trusting them and will see what damage they mean when it gets returned .. there seem to be customers who despite the revised prices are happy and others who like me just feel conned. I took pics of it as I packed it so let’s just see what has happened. When something looks too good to be true it usually is! I should have just accepted the £150 from Apple .. I read the other reviews, many mirroring my experience exactly.

They soon matched my order to the parcel and I was sent a quote a day later. Unfortunately didn't get what I wanted but I guess it was a fair price for the issues. A lot more than what other sites were accepting faulty phones for. Would sell again.

Gecko took a bit longer perhaps but they kept in touch, were true to their word, no haggling or inappropriate downgrading and the full offered price paid into my account the same day the phone was accepted. Can't fault them, will definitely use them again in the future!

United Kingdom | 24 August 2022The packaging they sent was for a phone, not for an iPad. Then they emailed to say they’d reduced the offer to £1 as the housing was bent (which it isn’t). Impossible to speak on the phone and the replies on messenger were automated, so that in itself is frustrating. Then when I asked for my iPad to be returned, they returned it without the original box I’d sent it in (which I had to do because their packaging wasn’t sufficient).
