I wish there was an option for 0 stars. I don't know where to start. Quoted me a price then alleged phone was damaged in transit and revised my offer from £255 to £25. The phone was immaculate with a brand new screen. Despite a million requests to speak to a human I quote "as we are a small business we don't have regulators or a complaint process" and to why we couldn't discuss it "we don't currently have a phone line in place for our customer service team" WHAT!?!?!?! I sent them pics of my phone going in the packaging undamaged, receipt for the brand new screen and absolutely no remorse or support from them. Had this not been enough to let them know the offer was unacceptable they still then send me an automated email saying as I haven't contacted them they will be keeping my phone and sending me £25. If they dint return my phone I'm going to have no option but to call the police. UNBELIEVABLE COMPANY AVOID AVOID AVOID

Can’t help but feel they tried to rip me off. Quoted £56 for my iPhone 7 and then revised the offer to £31.20 due to scratches and damage beyond normal wear and tear so asked for my phone to be returned. I now have possession of my phone which is in pristine condition and not a scratch on it as it’s always had a cover and screen protector. Won’t use them again or recommend them.

Gecko are absolutely great, can’t fault them in any way. Responsive, communication is awesome and they tell you how it is. Recommend them highly.

Good communication throughout

We've bought several refurbished phones from Gecko and find them to be quick to dispatch and we can usually collect the same day (we live in Exeter, so easy for us, but we've also had them delivered and it really is 'next day delivery'!) If we've had any issues, or changed our minds (or ordered the wrong item!) they've been able to refund pretty easily. Overall would recommend them :-)

I won’t be using Gecko Mobile again. Took a while to process from when receiving my phone for some reason then got sent a message saying they need to adjust the price because the battery is degraded! Yes, no surprise there, it’s a nearly 5 year old iPhone 8 which is in immaculate condition but needs a new battery. If your battery shows 85% capacity or less then don’t bother sending your phone in. Well at least not to these rip off merchants. I’ve never had a problem with any other mobile phone recycling companies so will definitely AVOID these. Look at all the other reviews, there seems to be a pattern here.

Brilliant!...Gecko offered £97.50 and paid this too, very swiftly. I had originally sent my iPhone8 to Mazuma - they said they would pay £85, but then said the phone had 'scratches' and lowered the offer to £70. I complained and they revised their offer to £75...but I still felt I could not trust them as there was nothing wrong with the iPhone so asked that they return it - Gecko paid the full amount without any quibbles (Thank you!), and which just confirmed to me how dodgy Mazuma are! But thank you Gecko for restoring my faith and for dealing with the sale of my iPhone so efficiently and honestly. Would def recommend Gecko. Mark
