United Kingdom | 11 July 2016Had nothing but absolute shambles with this company and nothing but stress and worry about my booking for the 4 months I had to deal with this bunch of elite idiots. Made so many changes to my original booking, even the night before the coach was about to turn up all of the invoice was changed which was obviously extremely stressful when planning a trip. They tried to overcharge us for both the deposit and the full booking on two separate occasions. Spoke to and emailed them so many times, not one person was helpful and always ended up back to square one. Surprised the coach even turned up to be honest, literally would never use them again. Got the drivers number and know to sort it with him next time

United Kingdom | 10 July 2016Dealing with the sales team they were very helpful, Once it was passed to the operations team absolute disaster!! I booked a coach to go to Gatwick airport for 15 golfers, due to be picked up at 2.20am on the 10th June. On the 9th June i was given the mobile number of the driver who was to pick us up, I rang him to check the times Etc, He told me then his coach was not big enough to take suitcases and golf clubs which i had told the sales and operations we all had. I then proceeded to contact the coach hire company for an alternative coach, this went on all day with broken promises and then finally at 7.45pm on the 9th june they decided they could not provide a coach for us. This left me with under 7hours to find a way of getting 15 golfers to Gatwick airport for 04.30am. I managed to hire another company at short notice but cost me an extra £160 of which Coach hire .com will not reimburse. I believe this company should not be allowed to trade

United Kingdom | 23 June 2016Booked a minibus for 10 people to Ascot. June 17 2016. Needed various confirmations on size and luggage space etc after I had made the reservation and paid. No reply to voicemails or emails and never returned my telephone calls. Thought they had gone out of business due to no response. Was EMAILED the night before to say my bus had been cancelled.Despite me calling them and 5pm to get the confirmation and driver details. Not even a phone call- called the subcontractor who was so vague that I thought I had called the wrong number. He then implied that he had told the coach hire people at lunchtime that day he couldn't fulfil the booking. SO SO UNPROFESSIONAL I am seeking compensation as had to pay last minute prices for a proper company .this company does not deserve to continue trading

Subject: Ref booking 442819 Dear Customer Services I am writing to seek to resolve a couple of issues that occurred on Saturday 30 April in connection with my booking, ref above. I hope that you are already aware of the circumstances, but if not please let me outline them. I had booked a Midi coach to pick up a party of 24 from St David’s Hill in Exeter to take us to Pier Head in Exmouth. All the details were set out correctly in your email of 29 April, as agreed. The coach did not show up at the appointed time (5pm), and despite valiant attempts by Katie who answered your 24 hour emergency number at 17:09, she was not able to raise Paul, the driver, either. I had 20+ guests to transport to Exmouth to catch a water taxi, booked for 6 pm, which was taking us to the restaurant where I was celebrating my birthday – we were only able to stay at the restaurant for 2 hours, so timing was important. Exmouth is about half an hour away so I had built in considerable leeway to the timings, but we were becoming increasingly pressed. I spoke with Katie again a little while later and she confirmed (again) that she had been unable to raise the driver on any of the numbers she had for him. Because we were unable to raise the driver to discover what was happening, at 17:23 my husband contacted a local taxi company and was able to secure 6 taxis to take us to Exmouth. This cost £157.50 and the sum was not refundable (I attach my husband’s bank statement, showing the debit). 3 taxis had come and taken away half of the guests before Paul arrived with the coach. At this point my husband stood down the remaining taxis, but, as I said, he had had to agree to pay the whole sum up front – with no prospect of a refund for those taxis that were not used. The coach had not been cleaned from the previous job (a stag party), and there was rubbish and debris (beer cans, crisp packets) everywhere. At no time did Paul apologise for his lateness, or make any attempt to explain why he had not contacted us to let us know he was going to be late, or why he had not answered the many calls being made to him. The return journey, I’m pleased to say, was unremarkable. The rubbish had been removed and Paul was there on time. I believe that these circumstances warrant a full refund of the cost I paid to you (£242). This would be to cover the sum we had to pay in excess to hire a fleet of taxis, and the distress caused. I look forward to hearing from you And here is their response: Dear Bea Thank you for your email and for providing feedback for your recent booking with us. I am sorry to hear that the service received did not match your expectations. We have commenced an investigation with depot that carried out your booking, and will also be reviewing internal logs and reports relating to your booking. As soon as we have received the various reports and reviewed them, we will revert to you with findings and outcome of the investigation, and if appropriate will offer compensation in line with our published table of compensation, which was provided to you as part of our terms and condition. A further copy is available online at ... If you have any further information that you would like to bring to our attention, including photographic evidence, email correspondence etc., I would be grateful if you could send this to us by return so we can include it as part of the investigation. I have attached a copy of our customer services policy for your information. Kind Regards ---- some 2 and a half weeks later I was offered £24,20 in compensation for the lack of cleanliness of the vehicle. No recompense at all for the excess £157.50 we had expended on taxis. On 19 May (the same day) I asked the company to reconsider their offer of compensation, so that we would not be out of pocket. I have still not had a further reply. I would not recommend this company to anyone. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ and here we are, six weeks later and the assurances made by the company in their response have not been honoured. Have I heard from them? No. Nothing, nichts, nada. If this is a definition of 'soon' it does, of course, sit easily with their interpretation of 'on time' with respect to the arrival of my coach. I will be updating this review regularly to let you know whether or not I've ever heard back from them. That will give you an idea of how good, or bad, the company is at keeping their promises and whether or not I ever get back the more than £150 extra paid out for taxis when their coach did not show on tie.

United Kingdom | 02 June 2016So on Sunday the 29th May me and my friends were all going to a festival, there were 9 of us so I thought it would be a good idea to book a minibus from Kent to Upminster, and a return journey home. The minibus was booked as paid for on the Tuesday the 25th as I was told it had to be paid upfornt. On the day of the festival the minibus was meant to turn up at 12.30pm, once it got to about 12:45pm we rang to see how long the minibus would be. I got put on hold a number of times, then the phone was put down, when we rang to speak to a manager he was not. It got to 2pm and we had still heard nothing! constantly having the phone put down on us and told they didn't know what was happening (IT'S ALL A SCAM). We then had no choice and decided to pay ANOTHER £300 to a cab company that actually turn up and took us to the festival. Thank you to this pathetic excuse of a company we are now £600 out of pocket, and still getting no answer. When I ring the office I am told they are unable to process the refund from there end, so then I am given an email address.......... So I email to ask when the hell is going on! I am told that the mini bus sent out to us had broke down and the replacement was stuck in traffic...... funny how I am told 2 days later! I am currently still waiting for a £300 refund that I believe I will never receive, NEVER EVER USE 'COACHHIRE.COM' It is all one BIG scam! use a local cab company, they may cost a little more but as least they won't rob you your money. All In all we arrived to our festival 3 hours late only just aloud to get in as we were one of the last group of people! THANK FOR NOTHING COACH HIRE!

United Kingdom | 31 May 2016THE MINIBUS NEVER TURNED UP AND WE WERE STRANDED!! I was told no minibus will be coming only when I rang them to see where the driver was, as it was late. Very poor customer service! I booked a minibus for 12 people on the 2nd March, so nearly 3 months before the departure date. It was for a group of friends going away for a long weekend. Everything has seemed fine, it was really simple to book and the sales staff were good. Closer to the date I have been speaking to the operations team to make sure everything was good for the pickup. I rang 4 days before pick up to make sure all payment has been paid and confirm timings. I was told full payment hadn't been made, which it had as i had conformation so forwarded that email over. I also asked for the driver details, but a driver had not been allocated as yet so i was told to ring back in a couple of days. I rang back the day before the pickup date to ask for the driver details, they didn't have the driver details, so i was told to ring back in a couple of hours and speak to the out of hours team. I rang them back and still no details but i got the name of the company that were meant to pick us up. It was the day of the pick up and it got to the time we were meant to be picked up, so i rang them just to ask if they knew where the driver was, but i was told they couldn't get hold of the driver. I was told i was going to get a call back for the regional manager Nathan, he called back and said he still couldn't get hold of them and would look for alternative transport. I rang the company that were meant to be picking us up, as i was given a company name the day before, the company did not know of any booking and they had a call from someone else that day because they had the same issue with coachhire.com At this point, it had been an hour from when we were meant to leave. I was told i by Nathan he will call me back in 20 mins with another update, i waiting 30 mins and i received no call, so i rang him myself and was told he had to leave the office as his son was unwell and needed picking up from school. I rang back again 10 minutes later and was told he was on the other line and hadn't left the office. At this point i was getting very frustrated and annoyed as we had activities book for the day and it looked like we might miss them if we didn't leave soon. I kept ringing and ringing but Nathan was either on the other line or away from his desk. I told the people who answered to get him to call back and i am still waiting for that call. I asked one of the guys who picked up for information, he said i was sent an email 2 days before the pick up that the bus had been cancelled due to maintenance issues. I didn't receive such email, and if that was the case why wasn't i told that when i was asking for the drivers details the day before the pick up. I was told by Nathan that they couldn't get hold of any minibus companies with any availability but when i called back there was one available but i would have to pay the difference of £400+. It was just 1 issue after another and we had to cancel our trip because we had no other way of getting to the destination as we lost out on over £2000 worth of accommodation and activities. I didn't even get an apology for the cancelled minibus.

United Kingdom | 29 May 2016This is my second time of using these company, and to be fair I should of learnt from the first time, but gave them the benefit of the doubt and allowed them to prove that this wouldn't happen again ... But I was Wrong! I ordered a 33 seater with disable access for my husband, the coach arrived early, as I stated how disappointed I was last time when the coach arrived over an hour late. This coach was a large 49 seater so therefore unable to get down our road for the pick-up point, more importantly my husband could not get onto the coach as there was no disable access? I was then forced to drive my own vehicle into London and therefore not part on the family travelling on the coach, this made my husband feel more disabled then he was? Customer services were not helpful and did not recognise the problems this caused and only offered a 10% refund...after almost begging they agreed on 15%. If I wasn't having to care for my husband and had more time on my hands then I would have taken them to court for breech of the contract. Its now been over 7 weeks since the booking and I am still waiting for the agreed 20% refund? I repeat again .... Do Not Use These People !!

The size of coach was also totally inappropriate. We wanted a mini bus but they sent a whacking double decker which couldn't get down the street to the pick up point.

United Kingdom | 19 May 2016Booked a coach for a party of 53 people to take us from Edinburgh to Glasgow for the Scottish cup final on the 21st May. Everything was paid way in advance. Didn't anticipate any problems. However, on the 18th May, i received an email to say the coach we booked was now unavailable due to mechanical failure. While this may be true, it has been a nightmare to find a replacement at such very short notice. Must have been some failure if it can't be repaired in 2 days. Nevermind, i think i have a replacement so hopefully i won't be let down again. Won't use again.
