United Kingdom | 13 May 2016I don't normally write reviews but for you this is an exception. The better choice is to not go with your company. When I booked with you I explained to the guy on the phone that this was a stag do. I asked if we were allowed to drink alcohol on the bus .. You said yes. The driver wouldn't allow it unless we give him £100. The driver wouldn't stop at the services for us.. Was completely rude and really didn't start the stag in the way we wanted . Your company were originally meant to take us from Chigwell - Cheltenham , Cheltenham - Cheltenham racecourse, racecourse - back to the house we were staying in and then from there back to Chigwell. That never happened . You amended the journeys yourself without me confirming any of them . You never picked us up from the race course and that in itself cost us an average of 20 pound a head to get back to the house . To say I'm unhappy is an understatement . We paid near on £900 for a service you never give . I will not be using you ever again and if there is any chance of me not warning other people off your company I suggest we should start by talking about some sort of refund . Joe Kelly

United Kingdom | 13 May 2016We used Coach Hire for an office outing and both in the morning and the evening the coaches were on time, clean and well-maintained, and the drivers were friendly and helpful. Booking and confirmations were clear and the pricing was good. I would use Coach Hire again.

United Kingdom | 28 April 2016Coachhire.com doesn't validate the itenaries and books wtihtout the pre-checks how many miles and the driving hours. We had booked from them for the Easter weekend to Scotland and they didn't drive the 50% itenary .. It was waste of time and money Itenary was given to them during booking and they didn't validate whilst booking to ensure they can cover all the places. Driver was not friendly too . They all talk about only 9 hours if that is the case why they take bookings for personal tours .. They should be running coaches from one city to other city like normal coaches/trains etc point to point Quite disappointing service from coachhire. Would never recommend.

United Kingdom | 18 April 2016Booked mini bus to take us to The Grand National Aintree as a birthday surprise for my 80 year old father. I'm convinced the driver hadn't looked at the confirmation sheet. Didn't know we had a pick up to make, then took us all round the world to the racecourse only to drop us off a mile away so we had to walk!!! He also asked who was in charge and when I said myself he said in front of everyone "Well are you going to pay me or what?" Told him it was already paid, he wasn't happy. The return pick up wasn't any better we asked if he could pick us up closer as dad has a stick but he refused point blank, even when we got the policeman AND security guard to say it would be ok to pull up. Unbelievable. His answer was "If he is so bad you should of got a wheelchair" . We actually HAD to drive past the point where he could of stopped to pick us up!! Avoid at all cost

United Kingdom | 18 April 2016We have used numerous coach companies over the years and would have to say this IS the worst one yet. Our flight landed early, however at Gatwick South terminal instead of Gatwick North, therefore we attempted to call the details given on the confirmation emails and texts to advise our the situation. We could not get in touch with the driver or the 24hour contact number. We eventually got hold of someone who had just woken up to say "oh was it today you were coming back?!" Eventually after 2 hours and numerous phone calls with a shocking 24hour contact service, we were picked up by two drivers who didn't seem to know what they were up to... And to top it off attempted to drop us off 10 miles from our agreed drop off (confirmed by email) Avoid using this company!!!

From booking the coach Through their website, dealing with Craig to sort out some details (very reactive, never had to chase for anything)all the way to our arrival at our final destination, the quality of service was superb. Would definitely use them again and recommend.

United Kingdom | 05 April 2016I had contacted various other coach companies trying to retrieve quotes they didn't seem interested or had no idea of customer service. I then contacted Coach Hire, the 2 customer service advisors (Luke and Nathan) who dealt with the booking and payment side of things were very helpful, friendly, honest and could not fault their excellent customer service. I will use Coach Hire again in the future without a doubt.

A 16 seater coach was provided arriving on time for both transfers with Ali the driver who was absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and he made our trip into a very memorable one. The booking process itself was handled well - with a friendly agent on the phone, and clear communication via e-mails and text. On the day of the trip, we were delighted with the service. The coach itself - from Rana Travel in Leicester, and driven by Roy - was superb. Modern, clean and very well appointed it certainly fitted the bill as an Executive Coach. Roy was absolutely perfect as a driver - punctual, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. He was flexible around our needs and helped to make the day one to remember. I would recommend Coachhire.com without hesitation and, if you're in the Midlands, ask for Roy and Rana Travel. You won't be disappointed ! Many thanks for an excellent service.

United Kingdom | 04 March 2016On 26th February we booked a mini-bus for pick-up and return to our 50th Wedding Anniversary meal with relatives and friends. After a 15 minute wait and no phone call I rang the driver to find out where he was, it was not the person who I was told it would be. Although there was a problem on the road, it was official, and it would have been posted well in advance so another route should have been devised. My daughter who we were due to pick up on route had to get a taxi so that one of the family would be there to greet guests. We finally got picked up about 40 minutes late. On leaving at the end, once again the driver was not there at the allotted time and no phone call to inform us why. We were finally picked up at least 20 minutes late. As in the agreement we are told that there would be an extra cost if we go over 10 minutes late, it seems that there is no rebate if the problem is the other side. I have emailed the Company and 5 days later am still waiting for a reply.

United Kingdom | 02 March 2016The sales team at coachhire.com are obviously completely motivated by their commissions. They will tell you anything just to get your booking and then you are on your own. I negotiated a price for a 7 day hire with an outbound and return journey and use of the minibus every day for local runs. A few weeks later I was informed that the sales girl had forgotten to add up the local runs and the daily use and they changed the quote to a much higher rate. Two days before the journey they contacted me again to say that it was impossible to use the bus for the 7 days because the driver needed a day off. This was unacceptable due to our previous planning. We were told to use taxis for that day. They said they would refund us £100 for that day. (out of over £3,000 for the 7 days this did not seem fair... nor did it cover our costs). The bus we received on the day had been subcontracted (I think that coachhire.com and thier many other online booking names all do this). The coach and driver made our experience marvellous... no complaints there at all. Upon returning from the trip I still hadn't received the £100 refund for the taxies... I contacted the company and was told that the sales person who offered me the refund was not authorised to do so and that she no longer worked there.. and that they had no record of ever offering that. So basically I paid £3,000 for 7 days and in the end got 6 for the same price. In the months of experience with this sales team I got passed from one person to another and renegotiated the deal so many times i lost count. I am repeating the trip again this year but will NOT be using coachhire.com or any of thier other online companies. I feel completely ripped off and will NEVER use them again and recommend that anyone reading this be extremely careful when dealing with the sales team.

I was hesitant about booking online but.. prompt email response with a quote - customer service on telephone were helpful and happy to discuss requirements. Vehicle was clean and lovely. Driver was polite, helpful and early so no worrying about whether he is going to be on time.

United Kingdom | 21 January 2016Booked a taxi for NYE, excellent price for what is normally a very expensive night! When I booked we initially had 9 people but that went up to 11, I was told when I booked that the coach was a 17 seater, I did advise them that we had two extra and was told that would be fine. Although on the night a 10 seater minibus turned up, meaning my husband had to drive himself to the venue, the driver did get a bigger coach for the return journey so didn't spoil the night too much, had to pay a bit more though! Would use again as very helpful and friendly staff.

Every step of the process from getting a quote to the actual trip was met with excellent service. Our Driver was friendly and accommodating when we had a slight change in plans. Would highly recommend Coach Hire.
