Ireland | 03 February 2015Our bus driver was absolutely amazing he's name was Darren, from the time we got onto the bus which was 8 am - 8 pm when he drop us back to the airport he never stop smiling, we were going to a funeral and he made everything so easy for us, nothing was a problem as none of us had a clue where we were going, I would highly recommend ur company & especially Darren he was such a gentleman .

United Kingdom | 29 January 2015We had a number of issues with the coach, The coach was 15 minutes late, we had to sit for a further 15 minutes in order for the air pressure to build up for the air breaks to work. We then broke down a couple more times before finally breaking down completely. Another coach was organised, which took 45 minutes to reach us but this meant we arrived 2 hours late for our event. The driver did arrange alternative transport, and the coach on the way back was ok (apart from it was old and the seats were damp) We would not use this company again.

United Kingdom | 22 January 2015Driver was rude and unhelpful. He was falling asleep & texting at the wheel. Our students were forbidden from using the toilet during the 3 hour journey and driver refused to stop or take note of the map that we supplied him, which resulted in us arriving late at our destination. He also threatened that we'd be liable if we incurred any parking charges at the pick-up point that they'd specified. In short - once I gave my feedback to customer support it fell on unsympathetic ears and wasn't taken any further. I would never use this company again and I strongly advise all others to make sure that they don't book with them either. The recklessness of the driver jeopardised the lives of our students.

United Kingdom | 22 January 2015Booked a group coach with Coachhire for 13 people to the 'airport'. We booked in advance to make sure we had transport as it was an early flight. The coach didn't contact me to say they would be late... then never turned up!!! on the return journey the coach was 20 mins late with no heating! I personally will not be using coachhire again and it is know to Oxford Brookes University which will follow suit.

United Kingdom | 13 January 2015Paid £400 for transfer to and from Gatwick, transfer there arrived on time but drove at maximum speed limit in torrential rain all the way to the airport. We landed back at Gatwick at 6.15am and there was no driver and when I phoned the out of hours office at 7.30 am I was told the driver was stuck in traffic / there had been an accident ? I enquired as to his whereabouts and was told he would be an hour, did I still want him to come..... I said yes I would still require the transfer as we were a party of 8, including my 3 young children. I said we were willing to wait an hour as I really had no other choice. Phoned out of hours again at 8.15am and was told he would be there at 8.45am, I was given the drivers number and phoned repeatedly to no avail, he simply refused to pick up. Eventually after another 6 phone calls the driver turned up at 9.30 am, 3 hours late, no explanation offered, but strangely he was smiling....... I would never ever use this company again or recommend them to anyone.

United Kingdom | 06 January 2015I recently booked a small coach to do an airport transfer for our companies winter conference. The driver had arrived at the offices in plenty of time (an hour early!) so cannot fault that. Although the coach was something to be desired – smelt very damp and unclean. The driver didn’t say a word to us and had obviously selected a route from a sat nav which happened to be single back lanes – as you can imagine the journey was very hairy! He also proceeded to the wrong terminal to start with so had to redirect him. For the journey back I did call to request another driver but was given the same driver details as before. But when we had landed I was sent a text with different driver details. He was much more friendly and helpful but unfortunately he took the same route as previously taken when really he should have taken the main roads.

United Kingdom | 02 January 2015I had a executive 16 seat Minibus for prom. A standard 16 seater mini bus was sent with a driver who was unfamiliar with the area, rude and failed to listen to our problems of an incorrect vehicle being sent. I was only issued a 15% refund by coachhire.

The company sent me emails and text msgs to confirm the booking and to give me information about the driver which i thought was very good. The driver was very professional and very friendly. The service was excellent all round.

Considering the fact I had accidentally not told the company to collect us from a specific shop (I just gave them the address), the coach driver ended up at the wrong end of the street, he was still jolly and so lovely, an asset to the company! The coach driver we had the year before with a different company was so awful, and really mean. So, it was great to have a coach driver that was really nice, chatty and got us all there in one piece. It suited us down to the ground and very competitively priced. Will definitely book with this company in future.

United Kingdom | 29 December 2014I have used this company before and they were spot on, however on this latest journey the driver had got the pick up details wrong. However both drivers were really nice. The coach itself left something to be desired. It was supposed to be an executive coach and for the price I would have expected it to be, but it wasn't! There was chunks missing from some of the seats and it was more like a school coach with no legroom at all. I didn't hesitate in using this company again, but after this latest experience may think again.

There was sick on one of the seats and the toliet had a not so nice smell too it. We paid a lot of money for this and would have expected at least a clean coach and as specified when booked.

United Kingdom | 10 December 2014We shopped around various different coach companies before deciding to go with Coach Hire. We ordered a 25-33 seater coach and the price was the most reasonable compared to the other local companies we tried. Their service on the phone was wonderful, they talked through the different options and offered competitive prices to meet our needs. After receiving a quote from them by email they waited patiently and professionally for us to respond (unlike some other companies which left upwards of 10 messages on our answering machine chasing the quote!). Emails were exchanged regularly up to the event to ensure all the details were correct and the drivers details were given to us on the day of the event so we could keep in contact. The only downside was that the coach arrived almost half an hour late on the pick-up day due to bad traffic and road works. I'm unsure whether this could have been foreseen and planned for given that traffic on Fridays is always a nightmare but the driver did call promptly to apologize and was very polite and friendly on arrival so we couldn't have asked for more. Pick-up for the return journey was very prompt and driver even allowed for an unplanned stop to let some people off early which was very kind. Well done Coach Hire! We will use you again.

They got my booking wrong and blamed it on me and was given no apology or gesture of good will. Initial service was good but a mistake was made and they made no effort to rectify! would not use again shocking customer service

On the plus side, vehicle arrived early and very pleasant driver. Limited London, and local, road knowledge was not good as there were plenty of traffic problems.
