United Kingdom | 05 September 2014Having had two bad experiences with well known local coach companies I was very apprehensive about booking two separate coach trips - both return trips - one to take a group of birdwatchers to Gatwick and another to take a group of Guides to camp. However I was pleasantly surprised in both instances - very helpful booking staff on the phone, driver contact details the day before, coaches arrived on time with helpful drivers, and most important of all, they assured us they would check our return flight details and wait if we were delayed without charging extra. Yes, I will definitely use them again.

United Kingdom | 28 August 2014Booked and paid £530 for a coach to transfer 50 wedding guests. Confirmed the booking the day before yet coach never turned up. Trying to get any sort of response out of this company has been a nightmare - unanswered emails, promised call backs that didn't happen and then the company tried to relinquish all responsibility. Next time I will just book directly with a local coach company - definitely not worth taking the risk.

United Kingdom | 15 August 2014Ordered an executive mini bus, it was described on the website as a Mercedes Sprinter or similar, (For a step up in Luxury). What turned up was a complete hunk of junk with a rude driver. The vehicle that turned up was a an old ford transit with no Sat Nav or reclining seats as promised. It was falling apart! At one point the driver leant out of the window to try and push a body panel back on! Not safe at all. I complained and was offered less than 10% back with very little remorse. Therefore, I can only suggest you avoid this company!

United Kingdom | 15 July 2014Booked this company for 3 trips to Harrogate throughout the day for a wedding...1st driver was late as he couldn't find the golf course we were setting off from...I think the 2nd run went without a hitch...but the 3rd run had an error in the required pick up time which was pointed out during a phone call with this company to check the details...but it was never altered...so guests to our evening wedding party had to travel independently despite many calls on the night to get the coach there when it was required. For the final return back to Bingley there was no sign of the coach...eventually found in the car park although I'm afraid we had to disturb the driver's nap...would I use them again?...probably not...

United Kingdom | 15 July 2014I recommend since they replied your email quickly and were always helpful. They allowed you to arrange the route and flexible in time and pick up point. I would consider using their service if I have another group trip.

United Kingdom | 15 July 2014Booked a coach to take 50 clients from one venue to another and did a bit of research on prices in London. The quote and service was the best i could find - hands down. Drive was there on time. He had a little bit of an attitude but that might just be the "London Way". Aside from that we were picked up on time in a nice clean coach and dropped at our location with no trouble whatsoever. Would recommend to anyone.

United Kingdom | 10 July 2014Booked a 16 seater mini bus to take my daughter and her Friends to Alton Towers for her 18th Birthday. On the morning of 6 July 2014, 16 excited 18 years olds waited outside at 06:45 for the arrival of the Mini bus and the start of their day out .The mini bus was due to arrive at 7:00 ,when it had not arrived at 07:10 we rang them but got no answer we continued to ring them until we eventually got an answer at 07:18 the customer services lady took our reference and then proceeded to look into were our mini bus was ,only to tell us that the order had been cancelled on 04 Jul 2014 .When we asked why or who had cancelled it as it clearly was not us ,all she could tell us was to ring back on Monday morning and she was sure we would get a full refund . So there we were 16 excited 18 year olds who had all got up very early looking forward to a day out and without any transport, when asked how are we were going to get our passengers to Alton Towers she suggest we made our own way there . There was no point discussing it further with her as she clearly could not do anything to correct their major breach of contract. At no time prior to this had the company got in touch with me either by Phone or email to tell me the order had been cancelled .When booking the service I gave them my details to take full payment .If the order had been cancelled on 04 Jul 14 as stated by them when not arriving I would have at least expected a phone call or an email ,letting me know that it had been cancelled. As instructed I rang on Monday morning and spoke to a very pleasent Customer services representative who was already aware of the incident and assured me it was getting looked into and would let me know as soon as they knew anything and I of course would get a full refund (I would not expect anything less as I had paid for something which clearly was not delivered but also left me with a inconvienience caused by their unprofessionalism) Within minutes of the refund being processed I recieved 4 e mails from the company stating I owed them the cost of the mini bus and if I did not pay it would be cancelled !! On Wednesday I eventually managed to speak to my travel advisor who apparently had cancelled my order .I then was told that he had not cancelled it he was off on Friday there had been a miss communication and our coach had not been confirmed by him before he left on Thursday and everyone assummed it had and so was never confirmed . I booked and paid for this service on 19th June and then 2 weeks later the comapany who were going to complete this job had not been assigned the job and therefore 1 person having a days holiday caused the order to not be completed . In the days of Computerised systems no companies systems should be so weak as to allow this to happen . The People I have spoken to within the company have said all they can do is apoligise but have never indicated that they are putting anything inplace to prevent it happening again as I don't think they even recognise that they have a system failure .Therefore It will happen again . I would have acually given them 0 stars if it was possible

United Kingdom | 08 July 2014I would like to say Coachhire are a great Company. they are very efficient,Trustworthy and helpful. inpartcular,Shaun Lewis,one of the Coachire staff i was Liaising with,was extremely helpful and friendly. They gave a great price for a 49 seater coach compared to other coach companies and i will definitely be using this company again in the near future.

Cyprus | 07 July 2014We booked a minibus to pick up my family after my wedding but it never arrived. I contacted the company and spoke to a representative who was absolutely useless. She could not find any records and was so unhelpful. We had to pay for 3 other taxis on the night to drive back my family to their hotel. We have received acknowledgement of our complain but the compensation offered does not cover the total expense and we are still waiting to hear back from the manager over a week later. we are very disappointed.

United Kingdom | 04 June 2014Although the person I booked with was extremely helpful and professional, the message didn't seem to get through to the coach drivers themselves. A different driver every time and a lurking sense of uncertainty meant our journeys were not as smooth and painless as we'd hoped. Arrived over an hour late on the first day- not a good start! Could have been worse but I won't be using them again.

The booking process was quick and simple and they were really flexible about pick up and drop off points too. I would thoroughly recommend this company for coach hire in the future

United Kingdom | 03 June 2014The trip to Paris over the May Bank holiday weekend was terrible. The coach was a very basic school bus for local rounds, ill equipped for long journeys. Despite the high temperature outside, the heaters were kept on to a roasting level during theentire journey, without opening windows or enough ventilation. The driver insisted that he can't switch off the heaters, because that will cut off the engine. Very incomfortable ride.
