France | 03 July 2024Zero Gravity made a huge difference to my Sixth Form experience. The masterclasses in particular were very helpful in showing what universities were looking for and their replayability allowed me to curate my ZG to my own needs. The most impactful part of my ZG experience is definitely my mentor, from coaching me through the admissions tests (which was incredibly useful, as applying to Oxford meant I had to do tests which are fairly niche, meaning this was support I could not have found otherwise) through to interviews (while my school also gave me mock interviews they were far from as close to the real deal as my mentor’s). Having a current Oxford student assure me I was capable of earning a place was also incredibly central to my journey - making me much more self-confident! The partnership ZG facilitated between myself and my mentor allowed me to realise my dream.

United Kingdom | 03 July 2024My journey with Zero Gravity has been incredibly transformative. My mentor, a CS student at Durham University, has been instrumental in this journey, offering personalized guidance, insightful advice, and continuous encouragement. Through regular sessions, they've helped me refine my study techniques, navigate challenging subjects, and explore potential career paths in computer science. Their real-world experience and unwavering support have not only boosted my confidence but also inspired me to aim higher and dream bigger. Zero Gravity has been a pivotal part of my educational journey, equipping me with the skills and mindset needed to excel and make a meaningful impact in the future.

United Kingdom | 03 July 2024I have got a conditional Oxford offer to do PPE having taken Maths, Politics & French A-Levels. I’m from Luton, a town not traditionally associated with such unis. My mentor was incredibly helpful! She’s provided me with advice on the TSA admissions test as well as more broadly how to choose universities, and has also given me economics-specific mock interviews, my weakest PPE area. She was very dedicated and gave me really detailed advice on improving my personal statement. ZG generally has been really useful, especially the masterclasses on personal statements and the 'Inside Scoop' ones about universities, which helped shape my choices. I've loved the community section as it showed I was not alone in dealing with the problems of a student. Finally, as a ZG student, I have agreed to be filmed opening & talking about my results on A-Level results day at college, which is a great opportunity.

United Kingdom | 03 July 2024This platform helped me quite a lot with my university application. Having access to a mentor is something I’m grateful for as I was able to get help from someone who has completed the process before me.

United Kingdom | 03 July 2024It has been nearly a year since I have used Zero Gravity and it has been an absolute blast with my mentor. I wouldn't be where I am without this program, considering I am starting university this Sep 2024!

United Kingdom | 03 July 2024As I am the first person to do medicine in my family and come from a working class background, I found it very difficult to navigate through the medicine application process. However, since joining Zero Gravity, I found a community of like-minded people going through the same experiences as me. So much support was made easily available to me: from the masterclasses to the various spaces to I was able to talk on. I was given the opportunity to research into my desired career and find advice that I would have struggled to find elsewhere. Getting matched with my mentor was what boosted my medicine application the most. Throughout year 13, my mentor gave me so much constructive criticism and guidance, helping me to slowly develop the confidence and skills that are necessary for medicine.

United Kingdom | 03 July 2024I was devastated when I got rejected for medical school in y13 despite giving it my all. My teachers told me not to apply, saying it was unrealistic for state school kids, but I was determined to prove them wrong. Battling mental health issues made it tempting to give up, yet I pushed myself, revising for hours and learning about the application process all on my own. Unfortunately, I didn’t score highly in my UCAT/BMAT, and my A-levels weren’t “med school worthy.” On results day, I was pressured to choose a different career, but still wanted to pursue medicine. I decided to resit A-level chem, retake the UCAT, and redo my personal statement with help from my mentor. Her guidance opened my eyes to useful tips on uni, medicine, and interviews. I couldn’t have done it without her. Now, I have an offer for Medicine with foundation year!

United Kingdom | 03 July 2024My experience with Zero Gravity has been extremely positive, it is a great platform that has helped me immensely through the masterclasses which enabled me to get a better insight into different universities and which one would be best for me, as well as the amazing personal statement workshop which was no doubt intrinsic to my success. My mentor has also been extremely amazing, helping me with every aspect of the application process, from months before even applying in which we just talked about the law, so I get a more solid interest and wider knowledge to spending hours working through LNAT questions with me and marking any essays I wrote and doing countless mock interviews and asking some of his friends to do them too so I get a wider perspective from different people.

United Kingdom | 03 July 2024The flexibility, the friendly and high-quality mentors! It was a brilliant experience.

United Kingdom | 03 July 2024I'm from a first-generation immigrant family and the first to attend university. I aim to study law and pursue a career in commercial/corporate law. But when it came to applying to universities, I felt so lost. I was unsure about the process or what made a strong application to law school. Zero gravity really helped break down the process through its use of goals and the different channels in which I could find answers to questions other applicants would ask. My mentor, Florian, has always been available to answer any questions I have and supported me fully throughout my application, e.g: writing my personal statement or preparing for interviews. I’m certain that I wouldn’t have gained an offer from a top law school such as UCL without the support of my mentor and the resources provided by zero gravity.

United Kingdom | 02 July 2024My name is Vickram and I live in a single parent home. I did my secondary education at Meopham School where there was an ASD unit which was able to provide support. At year 12, I moved to Gravesend Grammar school to do my A’ Levels. During last summer I became extremely stressed as I had no plans for revision and my autism only amplified that. After joining Zero Gravity, my mentor and I collaborated to make weekly goals which allowed me to revise effectively throughout the summer and still work towards writing my personal statement. This helped me to enjoy the holiday rather than spiralling with procrastination. My mentor continued to help throughout the admissions test period and then with regular check ups to ensure that everything was progressing. I really appreciated the opportunities it afforded me and the insight it gave me into different industries.

United Kingdom | 02 July 2024It has opened me to a range of new possibilities into how I can expand my prospects at life through education. My mentor was extremely helpful at not only exploring career plans and how to stay consistent with mu studies but also at personal growth and how to navigate life once I attend University. It was also beneficial to have a mentor that was studying the sane course as the one I intend to do as it allowed me to get a better insight into my subject area and instill confidence that I had chosen the right path. Zero gravity is an experience I'm grateful for as it has given me the skills and motivation to help me exceed in my prospects. My confidence has grown by having conservations with my mentor and the platform has opened me up to a plethora of different ways to advance my future prospects.

United Kingdom | 02 July 2024I have always wanted to apply for a degree in finance but never had the confidence to apply to the top universities. Through zero gravity, I met my mentor who helped me navigate the different courses I could do and helped me pick which was best for me. She also helped me be more confident in my ability, helped me with my personal statement, and pushed me to apply to the best universities in the UK, I got accepted into my first choice university. Also, I attended a masterclass/insight call through zero gravity with HSBC which was very impactful. From this, I decided to pursue economics and had written about what I learnt on my personal statement which helped tremendously. Reading the chats as well as conversations with my mentor helped me feel less nervous about university and create goals for myself both personally and professionally.

Maldives | 02 July 2024As an aspiring Law student, Zero Gravity has helped me by providing lots of opportunities and specific advice which is applicable to the legal sector. For example, the forum especially brings awareness to work experience schemes, which I would not have known about and be able to participate in if it wasn’t for Zero Gravity. My mentor helped me with my university application (specifically personal statement) and following this I received five offers from universities, four being Russell group universities. I believe that I could not have done this without the help of my mentor as she continuously went above and beyond to help me.

United Kingdom | 02 July 2024I joined Zero Gravity to boost my confidence and connect with a mentor to assist with my medicine application, despite not having access to an array of tutors. Through attending the masterclasses, my mentor’s assistance, and the wealth of advice in the forum, my application process became easier knowing I was supported by hundreds of people. Asha guided me through admission tests, helped me prepare for interviews and taught me how to effectively time manage, but the most valuable aspect of my mentoring journey was not the keyboard shortcuts for UCAT or advice on how to organise my Anki decs, but rather the weekly encouragement I received. Not having any immediate family in the medical sector made me apprehensive to apply for such a competitive degree, but Zero Gravity made my dreams attainable and I hope to study Medicine at the University of Bristol, thanks to the personalised support offered.

United Kingdom | 02 July 2024After signing up for zero gravity I was matched with a mentor- a dental student studying at KCL. During our first call we created a plan- our main focus being preparation for UCAT and personal statement. I was able to attend masterclasses on how to write the perfect PS and also post any questions I had on the community page of zero gravity to students who were also applying to competitive courses. Interview season then started, this is where my mentor really helped by carrying out weekly interview preparation ,by giving personalised feedback, after a few sessions I really improved on my confidence and communication skills. I was then given a conditional offer to study at KCL .I then completed my Alevels with the help of my mentor who provided me with resources. I would really recommend zero gravity, not only for the chance to have your own mentor but for the community of people in which you are able to relate to in terms of applications.

United Kingdom | 02 July 2024I like the community, being able to ask questions and getting responses within a fast amount of time. I really like the AI Tool it helped me with coursework and personal statement and gives valuable suggestions however a star goes down due mentors. I felt as though my mentor is not very dedicated to me. I have done many interviews without him providing mock ones and he can be slow to respond. Whilst my twin sister has an overly committed mentor. I wanted someone like her, but ‘it is what it is’ and I am grateful for the times he has provided help. To boost my ‘engagement score’ lol : Zero Gravity has positively impacted my sixth form journey as I attended masterclasses on interview preparation, Oxbridge and LNAT advice. I also made use of the AI tool which enhanced my personal statement. I was matched with a mentor after completing my personal statement and the LNAT, but he has greatly helped by providing mock interviews and university advice and helping me to draw conclusions on decisions for the future.

United Kingdom | 02 July 2024I am an aspiring computer science student so I was excited when I got such a qualified computer scientist from Harvard! She taught me a lot of insight from her time in applying to university, which helped me sort through the overwhelming information on which university best fits me. In addition, she helped tremendously by tutoring my entrance examination for my university choice. Although I did not achieve high enough for this exam, I still became a much better mathematician from it. Overall, I have become a much better student and life learner from the wisdom my mentor imparted to me and I am very grateful for that. I plan to go onto the quantitative field as my field of choice for work. This is because of my mathematical strength and interest in problem-solving I think I'd be best suited to this kind of job.

United Kingdom | 02 July 2024I am a future English undergraduate. I always felt I was pretty good at my subject, but coming from an area and family where not too many people have been to university, I wasn't confident that I'd be able to succeed academically. My mentor went above and beyond to help me develop my talents, and showed me that any imposter syndrome the thought of going to a top university gave me was wrong; despite my background I am good enough. I would massively recommend Zero Gravity to any student at a state school wanting to improve their chances of getting into a top uni. It will answer so many queries and concerns you may have.

United Kingdom | 02 July 2024My experience with zero gravity has been amazing. The resources really helped pull my personal statement together and other aspects of my UCAS application. My mentor was a massive help in deciding on the best university/course for me and helping me find good extracurriculars that would be beneficial
