Paid $50 to rent a textbook for my son. The book was returned in the same shape we got it in. Yet I was just charged another $200 because supposedly the book was "damaged". There was nothing wrong with it when I mailed it back. Apparently they just like to lie to steal money from people. And the only thing they offer is for me to pay even more money to get the supposedly damaged book back (which I would guess is not the same undamaged I returned, but one that's actually damaged). Didn't even specifically say what's wrong with it or give proof. This company is scamming people. Do not give them your money. They will just lie to take more money from you.

Received an email after placing an order with knetbooks, indicating that the book had been delivered. No textbook was ever received. Waited 2 days, as the email suggested, and reached out when the textbook had yet to be received. The response I got is as follows: "After reviewing the tracking information on your order, it appears the carrier reported this item delivered on (05/26/2021). It is A Book Co's policy to stand by the report of the carrier. In these situations, we cannot replace or refund the order. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If this item is a rental, please keep in mind you are held accountable for the return or purchase of this item at the end of the rental period." Knetbooks refused to take any responsibility for their lost delivery, and had the gall to inform me I would be responsible for returning a rental I never received. This level of obscene customer service is deplorable, and I caution everyone to think twice before placing an order with Knetbooks, else they might find themselves in the same situation. The lack of consideration in this situation is heinously negligent.

Beware of this company charging incorrect prices for rentals. Double check what was actually charged and compare this to what their listed price for rentals on their website is. I have used this company for years with no issues, but for one of my last orders earlier this year, I was charged over $60 for a book which was listed at $15 to rent on their web site. When I discovered their mistake, I immediately contacted customer service, and was told there was nothing they could do because they couldn't "go back in time and see what the price was when I rented." I was livid and filed a dispute with my bank, stating that I am only willing to pay $15 for this rented book. The bank refunded my money. Fast forward to a week ago, when I tried renting additional books, totaling $120, I got a confirmation email, and then a subsequent email stating that my order will be on hold until I "return my late items." I have diligently returned every rented item on-time, and was confused by this email. I contacted customer service once again, and was told that I have to "contact my bank and close the dispute and provide a letter showing that I closed the dispute until I can rent any more items." I stated that I WILL NOT be doing that, and asked them to cancel my current order, also stating that I will be taking my business elsewhere. I was told that my order cannot be canceled, and I was charged $120 on my bank statement. Needless to say, I filed another dispute for this charge. How can they overcharge me for my rentals, then refuse me further services, and then charge me for the refused service? This company is full of lying, stealing, dishonest crooks. I have found many other book rental places which I will be using going forward. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY'S SCHEMING WAYS!

They shipped my order quickly. The following day. I was worried reading some of the other reviews that they would take too long. But no shipping was fast for me. So far so good.

I have always loved Knetbooks but due to unforeseen circumstances I was not able to get the books in the mail due to a family emergency on time and woke up to my bank account being negative because they charged me full price for the books. I tried calling Customer Service and was told that nothing could be done to help me. I loved the service and would love to continue using the service but this is very poor customer service in my eyes. I will be letting everyone I know to avoid using Knetbooks.com.

Easy and cheap. One of the cheapest rentals out there even better than Chegg

My Summer Term is 10 May to 20 August. I am certain that Knetbooks will give me the short extension needed to complete the term, as they have done in the past. They are very easy to work with and understanding.
