Great service. Very smooth installation. Very helpful installers who also took time to go over the app. Great communication regarding paperwork following installation.

1. Immediate response to online enquiry. Salesperson was friendly, helpful and able to explain the product, how it works, how it would be installed, the costs, the impact on bills. 2. Company responded very quickly once I’d decided to go ahead and were able to offer an installation date which suited me perfectly. 3. Company kept me informed all the way. 4. Initial surveyor was able to make changes to suit my preferences. 5. Installation team arrived on time and worked politely, efficiently and were careful not to damage my carpets etc. I was taken through the app details etc. 6. The company were very quick to check I’d been happy and to initiate process of next steps. At the time of writing, the panels were installed two weeks ago.

Now seems an appropriate time to post this as I have moved house so the threat of blackmail no longer exists. I’ll refer to the original review to which you took offence to and remotely switched off my system (that would be their lovely CEO) Things didn’t get off to a good start regarding install dates however this was finally sorted out. Guys doing the actual install were very good but as far as customer service goes its an absolute joke. Fitted a solar hot water immersion heater that never worked. Was never setup according to the instructions right in front of the guys face ( who also smelt quite strongly of weed) and after nearly 6 months I have finally got my money back after being completely ignored. Before they had even reached the bottom of my stairs the phone rang asking for payment for the install. The second they had my money they were no longer interested in the issues i was facing. Had planned to further improve my system with battery storage but no chance I would ever use this company again after the way I have been ignored. The number of dissolved companies on your books speaks volumes. A quick google of Matthew’s name brings up rather a lot of unhappy customers. Only wish I had done my homework. Just use a different company and save yourself a lot of unnecessary hassle. Anyway after removing the review due to him locking my system I had control again so contacted the manufacturer to ensure he could no longer access this. Ended up with 2 ex police detectives now working for trading standards at my house for over an hour for an interview regarding his behaviour. (Turns out I’m not the only one he has done this to!) So really just a word of warning more than anything. Wouldn’t dare write this review if I hadn’t moved out of the house. Who really knows what he’s capable of

Eco-Energy installed our Solar Panels last year. The whole process from the Site Visit to final installation was perfect. The men installing were great and very thorough and cleaned up everything after they had finished. I would highly recommend them

Had solar panels installed recently and was a easy/quick experience. They first send out a surveyor to check where you want the panels, holes drilled and cables put, a few days later the workmen came out and only took them a day then another day passes and the electrician just clicks it all together, connects it to the wifi and whola done! The workers were polite, clean, tidy and efficient. Any questions asked were answered and had a great experience. Would recommend ECO Energy to anyone!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! WE obtained 3 quotes but were duped by the salesman who exaggerated the savings we would wee on our bill. I have tried to contact them but once they have your money they are totally uninterested in talking to you ever again. Having spoke to some friends I now understand exactly how much I overpaid. It was somewhere in the region of 6k. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

From start to finish, the whole process was efficient, positive and pain free! Jason, the Salesman was very knowledgeable and immediately we trusted him. The 10 Solar Panels, plus Inverter and Bird Proofing were fitted today by Connor the Electrical expert, who did everything indoors and 2 very polite young Roofers who carried out the outside work efficiently and with no mess. We are delighted with the finished product and are looking forward to using our App to monitor how it all works. Connor was extremely helpful and explained the App well. I will have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Eco Energy to anyone who asks. Thank you.

Eco Energy installed 10 solar panels on our roof yesterday and the system is working as expected, given light levels in early February Edinburgh, the culmination of a process which from the visit of the salesman to installation took 10 days. We are entirely satisfied with all aspects and stages of the process. The information we received and time taken by the salesman to answer all our questions was much appreciated. We felt under no pressure and we were grateful for the clarity in which technical matters were explained to the technically ignorant (us). On the day of the installation the electrician, Darren, and his mate Sean arrived as planned and proceeded to install the inverter, and batteries and run the wiring to the roof panels quickly and efficiently. We were impressed with their technical skills and problem-solving abilities in what wasn't the easiest installation, due to limits of space, and they did a fantastic job. Finally, the App was ably demonstrated The roofers arrived later on the same day, having been delayed due to a vehicle breakdown which was resolved quickly and we were kept fully informed throughout by the Glasgow office who resolved the problem. The panels were installed quickly and we were later shown photos of the methods used to secure the panels to the roof, and to deter nesting birds, and time was taken by the gentleman concerned to fully explain their work. Again, very reassuring. All in all we can't speak too highly of the efficiency, competence and professionalism of all concerned and we are satisfied that should any technical issues occur in the future they will be dealt with in a similar manner.

From sales call to completion this has been a stress free installation. We needed a scaffold over a glass roofed canopy and this was completed on the Monday by 2 men. The Solar Panels installed by 2 men on the Tuesday. Very happy with the black look of the panels and the finished product. Wednesday the scaffolding was removed and the electrical installation was completed. I had previously prepared a floored area in my loft but the electrician had to build a frame for the inverter. As a retired Senior Project Manager I can honestly say that all of the operatives were polite and professional in their work and the completed installation is entirely to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend ECO Energy.

Great, well done every body, from sales to installation and customer service. I´m verry happy. First day, Two men arrived on time, after we discussed the best layout for the panels they were at it. Two hours later they were done, only evidence of their visit, panels on roof. Great. Two days later, two men arrived to connect the panels, aoligised for being a little late, which after seeing what they did to make the installation invisible I fully understood. They experienced a few problems but worked over to avoid a second visit. Again only evidence of the visit a box on my fuse board. Super

Eco Energy are a trusted company. The staff were very helpful with the grant process and were happy to discuss any worries or problems by phone. Installation went well. Engineers on site explained the process before beginning and were very tidy throughout. We were very happy with Eco Energy.

Eco Energy fitted my panels last year and arrived on time were neat and tidy and so far there have been no problems.The App was explained to me and is easy to use and over the summer months I hardly used any electricity at all.I would recommend the company.

If I could give a 0 star I would, first off they do not make it clear that unless you are a home owner you cannot apply. So as a tenant I did not realise this and got to end of the survey they wanted me and my landlord to commit fraud and change his bank details into my address so this could be fitted. I’ve had none stop harassment over the space of 3 months as I refused to do what they asked, I have asked multiple of times for my details to be removed off their system but they are not taking no for an answer. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Unless you want to be harassed by them if it fails to go through as they won’t get their pay out, I’ve blocked so many numbers by them but still get called from a different one each time. It’s beginning to stress me out with it as I have to say the same thing over and over.

Eco Energy were recommended by friends who had Solars fitted. They offered us a cancellation slot which we took, electricians were tidy and very informative and took time to show us how the app worked. Panel fitters were also efficient and knew exactly what they were doing. Very please with the work

Eco energy were selected at random from a web search, do not regret my selection in any way. Their design installation expert arrived punctually and took time to explain things , he did not imitate a double glazing salesman! No hard sell, just proper explanation with facts. The installation was arranged through their Glasgow office and was actually brought forwards to meet our needs. Installing team arrived, good work, tidy work and efficient carried out too, no problems. Highly recommend this company. Saved a fortune on bills. Well done eco-energy.

Installation well organised with neat and tidy workmanship. Everything arrived as planned and work carried out to a high standard. Since installation our energy bills have decreased by £115 per month. Solar panels will be paid for in energy savings much earlier than we expected. Best money we have spent in many years.
