Everyone has been friendly and helpful, even with the comlicated loan forms. The electricians, drat them, mislaid the cover of my loft trapdoor, but otherwise were quick, tidy and efficient, and the panel installers, once they found out where the panels were actually to go, worked hard and neatly, and helped me sort out a couple of obstreperous baby seagulls on my roof. A good experience on the whole.

Very good from start to finish. The salesman was young and enthusiastic and not salesman-like but very attuned to customer responses, which were quite questioning initially. Took useful drone pictures and made detailed proposals, with predicted energy returns etc based on roof angle and direction etc. The fixed price seemed very fair but was negotiated down a little more - perhaps shouldn't say that. Installation date was quick, within a couple of weeks. Roofers were quick to propose a minor change to layout once they saw the roof, which was accepted, and they completed the task quickly and efficiently and left no mess. Electricians were brilliant, finding ways to get cables down through two storeys of convoluted building with no external trace left. The explanations of the software and app were excellent, and they cleaned up and vacuumed behind them. All email requests for more info. etc were answered promptly, both before and after the actual sale was agreed.

On downsizing, I determined to make my bungalow (built in the 1970's) as energy efficient as possible. I chose Eco Energy Ltd to insulate the house and install solar photovoltaic panels and batteries. They carried out all the work efficiently and neatly and provided an MCS installation certificate. The app (ShinePhone) provided allows the most efficient use of energy. I have no hesitation in recommending Eco Energy Ltd.

Very Good experience – From first contact to installation in less than 3 weeks, we had 14 Solar panels installed. From the Sales guy, who was helpful and honest, the sparky dream team of John and Son, to the hard-working Roofer (Jamie) who spent a lot of time ensuring the panels were fitted perfectly onto a difficult slate roof, he worked late into the evening to ensure precision. Faultless installation.

Quoted a really good price. Once signed up installation was arranged and from electrician to installers they were the best workmen I have had working in my property. They arrived on time, left no mess and explained everything to me before they left. When I did have a query it was dealt with promptly and satisfactorily. Highly recommended.

I had solar panels installed by Eco Energy for just over a year now. They have been running with no problems and my electric bills have dropped significantly. The service was great from start to finish, the installers were very prompt, friendly and professional. Aftercare was very good as well, there was always someone on the phone to answer any queries that I had. Overall I was very satisfied with my experience.

Eco Energy installed my 12 panel system with inverter and battery all within 1 day in early December 2022. the installation went very smoothly with minimal disruption and the installation team cleaned up after themselves well enough, that after they had left you would never know that they had been. They were both courteous and professional and I am delighted with the fruits of their labours. I have found the whole process, from initial contact to final commissioning, to be truly commendable and would recommend Eco Energy to anyone wishing to have solar panels installed.

To anyone who is interested I am writing this review after being contacted the eco energy over a year after having my system fitted and with the promise of an amazon voucher for making it positive. while I dont normally write reviews I wanted to on this occurance as the promise of payment may mean that some of these are not as they seam. I got my panels installed on thier own initially but at the time had made sure they were aware that I also wanted to get a battery installed in the future, Eco engergy decided to install an invertor that was not compatible with batteries without my knowladge, this was discovered 9 months later when I went back to eco energy to have a battery fitted and at that time was informed that the invertor I had was not compatible. As for the install of the inital system things went relitivly smoothly even though I have a steel roof and the panels installers had not come accross this before, this meant that they had to leave and get different battons / connectors to fit the panels to my roof, once installed things worked well until I had my first sunny day, this triggered the system to trip the fuse to prevent damage to my electrical system, A quick call to Eco Office and the electrition was out to swap out the fuse for a larger capacity one, I have had no problems since then, unfortunatly it took a few weeks for em to get my paper work though meaning even though the panels were installed in the march it was the end of may before I could start collecting payments from my electrical supplier.

As my guide to my baby step into green energy, Stuart was a patient salesman, answered my endless questions and concerns, drew up three proposals in three days to accommodate my specific needs, and eventually won my trust to go with them instead of some other company. I went with the biggest system to make use of my East-West facing roof. Hope to be paid off in 7 years, as it seems an investment for 5% inflation-insensitive return, with perhaps some deductions for replacing panels every 20 years. Paid my deposit on the spot. The appointment was fixed within two weeks. Supposed to take two days. The two roofers were already on my roof 9am in the morning. Two cheerful mates with Good knowledge. Helped me to locate the best joists to fix rails and maximise the positions of the panels to avoid chimney shadow. By 2pm, I was off grid, happily testing my newly gained power. Right now, most powers are exported to grid free of charge. Waiting for the G99 form, the Battery (arrives today), and the right hybrid inverter to be installed today. Stay tuned for the complete installation.

good all round experience - eco energy were able to advise on how to navigate the funding route via Home Energy Scotland and once the loan was in place were able to install things pretty quickly - 14 panels + one battery in one day with minimal intrusion and everything working fine...

We had our solar panels and battery installed by Eco Energy recently. Our experience with the company was very good from the start to the end. Can’t really fault it. Alp communication was very good and the fitting went as smoothly as can go and the engineers left everything clean and been very useful with explaining everything to us. And the company is MCS certified. Very pleased with their services.

I am glad I got the solar panels and battery system installed. It makes a big difference to my bills, especially because I am an all electric household. The installation went well, and the system has worked well for a year now. The staff were helpful in resolving a problem when the battery went to zero. I have had no other problems. The panels look good on my roof. I had to pay another company to fit plastic seals round the edges to stop pigeons, but I am pleased because it is not netting but plastic panels and they make the design look good.

Good clear sales. (I approached them, not cold called) Understood our needs. Work was undertaken quickly and to a high standard. NB. The following is not a criticism of the company, but the system being installed was new, and unfortunately this meant that the technical knowledge of the fitters was limited. This resulted in a delay getting the system running due to requiring a firmware upgrade form the manufacturers. This resulted in the need for communication, and while the girls in the office were fantastic (and very patient with me), I did struggle to make direct communication with someone in authority to get my questions answered.
