Excellent idea to take out insurance when booking theatre tickets as you never know when your life will turn upside down as mine did. The process to start the claim on line is very simple to do and payment was almost instant, providing you have documentation. I used the web chat too, as the first time my claim hadn’t gone through. This again, was very easy to use and was sorted out immediately. I re-submitted the form and on the chat line, the man I had chatted with told me the form had been submitted. All very easy to do and I will definitely use the insurance again and have already recommended the company.

I was very surprised to notice that there was a guarantee included on my Broadway theater ticket when I was making a claim on my very limited travel insurance policy ($200 maximum) for a canceled trip due to an emergency hospitalization in Florida. None of the other plays nor the NY Phil or the Met offered any sort of refund (though the Met said I could reuse the ticket during the current season) when I called to cancel so that they could resell my seat. Within a few days, my ticket value was refunded to my PayPal account! What a nice surprise.

Not what I was expecting to be honest. I had to get a doctors letter and full proof to get my money back. Took a while in the first instance when I think it should be automatic so the tickets can be resold! Doesn’t make sense how they do it but I got my money back within 7 days so not all bad.

Excellent investment on my part. I had to have a medical procedure months after I purchased the tickets bot only a couple of weeks before the concert. Doctors orders included staying off my feet for 6 weeks. I applied for the refund, provided all of the necessary documentation & received a full refund.

My husband and I got Influenza and had to cancel tickets to an event. Process to request refund was relatively easy, and I appreciated receiving my full refund. There were no strings attached, no hidden fees. I only wish there had been a way to contact the company, check on the status of the refund, or get any kind of feedback regarding what was happening. All you get is an email that they received the request. It took longer than a week, and I was beginning to worry. In the end, though, I got my refund which was all that mattered.
