United Kingdom | 08 December 2024After paying extra for cancellation insurance for my tickets I found when I tried to cancel and get my money refunded as I couldn’t attend the ticket date in question, I couldn’t do this wherever I went whatever website I went on to do with ticket cancellation with this company. I was given the runaround so much that in the end I give up on it, my daughter later pursued it on line and found out that I had to produce a doctors letter, a sicknote before I could put it into the company which I did only to be told via a telephone call that my daughter made that the money couldn’t be refunded back onto my credit card, and that I would have to give them a bank account number for this to happen, so after four weeks of trying and failing I finally got a refund. I find it totally ridiculous to have given so much to get something back which was supposed to be easy. I won’t be booking tickets from this company anymore.

However, the process was somewhat confusing regarding the refund being sent to my bank account. In the initial refund request, there was no clear way to provide the necessary details for an international transfer, as the process seemed more suited for U.S.-based accounts. In the second request I received by email, the form didn't include all the information my bank told me I needed to provide for international transfers. Additionally, email responses were not very prompt. However, once I completed the questionnaire with the best information I could provide for the international transfer, everything was resolved quickly. I also received a confirmation email informing me that my refund would be processed soon. Overall, while the outcome was positive and efficient in the end, the process could be improved for international customers to make it clearer and more straightforward.
