United States | 07 September 2016Vector does an excellent job of monitoring our home's security, from the alarm system to testing to maintenance.

United States | 07 September 2016VECTOR SECURITY IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO REACH ON THE PHONE. IT'S FRUSTRATING AND UPSETTING TO NEVER BE ABLE TO CONTACT ANYONE, ESPECIALLY IN THE REPAIR DEPARTMENT. WHEN I FINALLY DID REACH SOMEONE, THE WORKERS WERE EFFICIENT AND COURTEOUS AND WERE ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEMS EASILY. HOWEVER THE PHONE EXPERIENCE IS A NIGHTMARE AND I HAVE WAITED ON THE PHONE AT TIMES FOR 15 MINUTES. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.

United States | 07 September 2016I have Vector both and home and work and the times when an alarm has gone off, Vector is very quick to contact me to access the situation and allow me the choice to contact fire/police, etc.

United States | 07 September 2016Don't bother getting a camera I always have to unplug it and plug it back in. Closing your garage door from your phone is super slow sometimes. The salesman make it seem like you are getting a lot but you do not get sensors for all your windows unless you pay the extra 40 dollars per sensor. There are other companies who would cover everything. The salesman sold me on the fact that no one can cut the phoneline etc. But what is the point of that when all they need to do is figure out the blindspots in your house.

United States | 07 September 2016We love Vector Security! ADT was not too bad but didn't have any of the great features. We love that they speak to us through our system and they are always so nice! The cameras are clear and we love that we discontinued our landline!! We plan on adding to our system very soon!

United States | 07 September 2016Service has been good but given new technologies the cost seems high. I need to review the new products/services and make a decision.

United States | 05 September 2016They tell you the price package includes the secure plus protection plan, I repeatedly asked the sales rep if I didn't want the protection package ( which is basically them replacing batteries), would it make a difference in, my monthly subscription price, to which he kept saying no, it's all inclusive. The next day my gut was telling me to read it again, and not only did I discover it wasn't mandatory to have the protection plan but it is already included in the first year free. So they are charging you $12.99 per month the first year for a service they already provide for free. When I called to confirm this, I was told in fact this was the case, I immediately cancelled my protection plan to reduce my monthly fee, here's hoping they actually do it. I can't rate the service yet, I have had front point at my other house for the last 5 years and the system seems similar. To the Vector rep who may read this, not sure if the account number I listed is correct, because when I called to get my account number I was told I have a couple of them and it depended on what I needed decided what number they used. UPDATE so I was supposed to get two months free due to having an existing system in my new house, and today I get debited the full amount no reduction for the payment plan and no two free months, and see below, did they contact me? NO.

United States | 01 September 2016We just ended our 5 year contract with Vector last month. The service and equipment worked well for the first few years. Then, the equipment began malfunctioning. We reached out to the company dozens of times to have the equipment fixed always being told someone would come out and they never did. We attempted to talk to managers who were never available. When we told the company we were looking to break our contract because they were not providing us the service we were told we would receive, they told us good luck. When it was nearing the end of our contract,, we reached out to the company to cancel. We were told multiple times it was taken care of but even so they continued to contact us about our service and even debited our account! Hands down worst company we've ever had the displeasure of working with!!

United States | 24 August 2016It took me over 2 months to cancel the service, lots of phone calls, lots of time on hold, no refund given, so they got me for 2 extra months. Be prepared to spend a lot of time trying to stop this service. I had to fax in a copy of my fathers death certificate.

United States | 19 August 2016Anytime I have been on hold it is for an unusually long time. There are always a minimum of 9 people ahead of me.

United States | 09 August 2016Hold time is way too long for something that is supposed to be an emergency response service.

United States | 09 August 2016No issues. Pleasant people on the phone when accidentally set off. Reasonable cost.

United States | 29 July 2016This company is a joke. They sent out a local AC company to install their fancy thermostat that we could use to adjust the temperature using our cellphones. Turns out the thermostat was faulty. This created a temperature/humidity difference in our house and then turned into a mold issue on furniture in our sons bedroom. We spent several thousand dollars hiring experts to help with the issue because we thought there was a bigger problem going on in our house. Then we had to fix the mold issue that was created. Lots of money spent. We sent a formal letter to Vector requesting financial reimbursement for the problem THEY CREATED. This was a company THEY hired. In the year we have been trying to get reimbursed they have never responded to letters from our attorney. Customer service is terrible. I know you are getting our letters. It wasnt our fault that YOUR PRODUCT was faulty and that YOU hired a company to install this apparently terrible product. Step up, make contact with us, and make it right.

United States | 07 June 2016Beware Vector Security agent posing as an ADT agent! They called my home on Friday (6/4/2016) saying they would be in my area changing out key pads that are older than three years old and upgrading systems. They even knew what my monthly payment to ADT was and that they could reduce my monthly cost. Sounded good and I made an appointment for Monday (6/6/2016) for service. Monday morning the "manager" called see if service could be earlier than arranged and confided that the tech was from Vector Security. Big red flag! Called ADT, they don't know how Vector got my account info, but ADT legal is looking into this. Avoid a company that resorts to this sort of shady sales practices. They lie!

United States | 14 May 2016Been a Vector security client since 1996 and the service has been excellent. Our technician is always readily available to repair any issues and always leaves the work site clean. Vector has also helped with the CCTV systems in retrieving video. They are very professional and always presents identification. Also always inquires about any additional work or any issues that where notice.

United States | 05 May 2016Try today to cancel service and the operator treat me with disrespect. I told her that i am an Army Captain that i am with Vector for more than 24 month and i have my orders for moving. She answered me that she don't care about it because i signed a contract for 24 months but if i dont call before it automatically renew every year without my knowledge. I recommend my soldiers to be very careful before doing business with this company because of my experience. "May 04, 2016" V/R CPT Angel L Hernandez Adjutant General.

United States | 30 March 2016Customer service department provided me with misleading information, then took over eight months to correct this error. Vector Security's customer service department provided me with misleading information. In August 2015, I requested to cancel my contract. A customer service representative told me this was possible and told me the necessary steps to cancel. Once I completed the steps and provided the requested documentation, I was told that my account would be cancelled. However, I began receiving past due balances from Vector informing me of a delinquent balance. I spoke with another customer service representative on the issue over a period of five months about the mistake. However, I still received no response from Vector explaining the issue to me. Finally, eight months later in March 2016, the head of customer service called me and explained that my contract ran through January and was not able to be cancelled. Understanding the contract claim, I am happy to pay my remaining balance, but I cannot believe the miscommunication from Vector Security and the considerable lack of true, honest customer service. This has been a horrible experience and I would warn any other prospective clients to steer clear of Vector Security.

United States | 18 March 2016The service tech was very knowledgeable and proficient. He fixed the problem and explained everything to me I was highly satisfied. He came on time and made sure everything was working properly before he left.
