The price was very competitive and installation was a breeze. Rich installed our system and did a great job with setup. I would not hesitate to recommend Vector for your security needs.

United States | 19 December 2014One of your District Sales Managers is a friend of mine so I stick with you, if it weren't for this relationship I'd have changed providers long ago. Please upgrade your website to allow customers to manage payment methods there is no reason I should have to call and speak to someone to change my credit card details. Also, I'm leasing equipment and don't appreciate that I was charged $200 to upgrade the radio in the leased equipment because AT&T is discontinuing their 2G network. It's your equipment and if it no longer fits the needs of your partners you need to replace it at your expense and not mine.

United States | 18 December 2014So far the service I have received has been good. The only issue I had is when I replaced a door and had to re-do the door alarm. I was told it would cost me $125 to have someone come out and re-attach the alarm and that I would have to wait a few days. What is the point of the alarm if i have to wait a few days to have it re-attached!!! That leaves me vulnerable on that door. The installers for the door are not allowed to attach the door alarm because if not done right they become liable. So I had to re-attach it myself. You really need to review your service policy.

United States | 13 December 2014I had scheduled a service appointment for Friday, Dec. 12 between 4-8 pm. I received a phone call about 5:15 pm letting me know that he would be at my house within the hour and he was. Jason was very polite and introduced himself to me. He came in and assessed the situation quickly and took care of the problem without any hassles. He then went out of his way to show me how some of the features of my system work and he also replaced the battery in my key chain remote. He stayed longer than expected to make sure that I didn't have any questions and showed me how to run a test for a panic button. I was so happy to learn about the system and how it can help me. He is a fantastic employee and extremely helpful!!!

United States | 12 December 2014This will be 15 years since I first bought my Vector System. It is simply the best system available. I have the wireless system, and it very rarely needs attention. Battery replacement is about all that it ever needs. I highly recommend this system and the Vector team!

He is honest, helpful, on time and just overall great guy.... He calls and say hes on the way and will be to out home in 10mins Ryan arrives in 10mins does the job and is done and is WILLING......

I had to request documents, schedule a service call, and pretty much re-instantiate the whole account. Once I did, everything went smoothly.

United States | 09 December 2014I don't have much basis for rating this service even though I have been a customer for three years. I have not had many false alarms, which is good. In the single experience that I had the notification call did not have a caller ID identifying Vector. Vector claims this practice is for safety in the event an intruder is actually in the house with the homeowner, which I understand. However, I which they offered the option to send a text to my cell phone to alert me. My call ended up going to voicemail and the voicemail was not picked up for several hours. Overall good service....I guess.

Why is your monthly cost so much more expensive (25%+/-) than your major competitors? 2. If something goes wrong with the system, why is there a service charge for a service person to come and repair "your system".? It is not my system. It is "your System". If it does not work, you come and fix it. Free of charge!

Greece | 06 December 2014The services are not bad, but numerous times the alarm has gone off due to defective sensors and no one called to check whether it was a break in or a false alarm. Secondly, your technicians have serviced the property several times over the last 18 months to fix numerous false alarms. Yet, the problem still persists. To get a technician to come back to service the defective sensors, we have to wait nearly two weeks! In the meantime, the alarm continues to go off in the middle of the night AND no one has called from your monitoring service. Your service used to be punctual and readily available. However, I believe that your company is over booked and unable to handle the volume of new work. I hope that this is a dip in your company and is not a prelude to service to come. I am not complaining, but since you asked for my review, here is my honest answer. I hope that this helps you to improve services.

United States | 06 December 2014During the initial consultation, there was nothing mentioned about a contract. Now we have to continue paying them for 3 years even though we don't even use their extremely annoying alarm system which you cannot turn the volume off.
