I have had no issues with my system...customer service is always accurate and helpful...i would recommend their system to my friends and family

We had some connection issues and the customer service was responsive and very helpful. Later in the month We had a small oven fire. I was surprised at the length of time it took vector to call us call once the alarm went off. I guess when there's a fire, seconds feel like minutes. I had already called 911. It was nice to know they were there as a back up and the smoke alarm worked. Lesson learned--keep a charged extinguisher in your kitchen. We were just toasting almonds!

Customer service rep spoke to me & resolved problem on phone. What a do not like is the up charge if there is problem where somebody has to come out to fix your equipment. My alarm company in New Jersey does not charge me when they have to fix their equipment .

We loved how no matter what, Vector would not show up on our door step, unless we had prior knowledge. They provided an immediate response when our house was broken into and helped scare off other security companies. To be clear, home break ins went up in our neighborhood and if it wasn't for Vector, we would of lost a lot more. My wife and I look forward to signing back up with Vector, when we move back into their area.

They response pretty quickly every time when our system went off accidently. The people in monitoring center also help you schedule some appointments if you required. They are pretty reliable.

I absolutely NEVER, EVER worry about the security of my home whether I am there or not. Vector is ALWAYS on top of the security for me and my home. I accidentally entered the incorrect code (which I did one time after entering my home) and was called to find out why the alarm went off. Vector did not chide me my mistake and expressed their sentiments that they were happy it was not an emergency. Whenever I had a problem not understanding something, very patiently, I was walked through the instructions and was asked if I understood and if there was something else they could do for me. I am VERY PLEASED with Vector Security - thinking about moving? Not if I can't take Vector with me.

I was a young 1st time home buyer and they approached me about a system. I wanted it for fire (I have a dog at home during the day) more than anything. Got it installed simple, painless. Sold the house 3 years and 2 months after that. Went to cancel it, couldn't. Since "I" had a 3rd party install it the contract was auto 5 years!! "I" did not have a 3rd party install VECTOR did. Sneaky #1. So I had to take it with me. I was told it would not extend my contract past the 5 years it was set to end at. Lived in that rental house 7 months until our house was ready. Moved into our new house. Had roughly 1+ year left on the original 5 year contract. Went to move into new home....auto 3 year extension for moving 2x's in less than 1 year. Sneaky #2. A representative shows up at my door 3 months later to "Calm me down" tries to GIVE ME free upgrade items and says he will reduce my bill. I don't trust Vector get out of my house (in a nice way). Find out later if I accepted the upgrade auto 3 year contract renewal from install. SNEAKY #3. I have my calendar marked for 2 months prior to my contract end date and I will send in 3 cancellation letters just to make sure they can't say they did not get them. SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES.
