United States | 10 July 2020I do not have a problem with Vector Security; one exception. I get these pre-calls before my payment is due asking me to make a payment which I do every month. I don't need a reminder to pay for service I need and appreciate. Thank you for this opportunity.

United States | 09 July 2020Installation went fine. I had a screaming battery within a few months. I did not know what was happening. Called a friend who came over and told me that what it was. The company was saying initially that no one could come out to fix the matter until the following Monday. This happened on a Friday. I had to really plead because of a nerve condition, and my husband's heart problem, we would have had to check into a hotel for the weekend. The noise would have knocked both of us out over that time period. After near freaking out (panic attack) over the phone the company finally agreed and sent a tech out. This does not speak well. There should be weekend attention in some cases. Happy my situation was addressed, that time, but this should be attended to by the company-and improved.

United States | 30 June 2020A truck with a huge sticker on the back was road raging and cutting other drivers off with no signal. The tech was driving like he was running away from a tornado on the highway. Unfortunately for me I got in front of the driver and he hit my vehicle multiple times and when I pulled over when it was safe he got out of the van and threatened me. Very scary experience and shows the values of this company. Submitted the dashcam tapes to the county.

United States | 28 June 2020We had a problem with our system after a 4 day power outage. We kept getting a notice of a “bus” system failure and we’d be getting 3 beeps warning of something. We were told how to stop it temporarily, but no one on the phone could tell us how to fix it. They said we needed a technician to come out to fix it, but they couldn’t send someone here for 2 and a half weeks. We had to deal with annoying beeps and automated phone calls telling us there was a communication failure for all that time, and we had no connection to the system. When the technician finally came, he was able to fix the problem, but he told us he’s not that busy and couldn’t understand why they couldn’t have gotten him here sooner.

United States | 26 June 2020I have never had a problem with Vector Security. I some times make a mistake in entering the code and the alarm goes off. Within a minute the phone rings and the tech asks if I am okay. Then the tech asks my name and password. It is reassuring to me the techs are always there.

United States | 24 June 2020The alarm service is great and so is the customer service, i would rate them a 5. The reason i rated so low is because of the door bell camera is a piece of crap and doesn't work. They have replaced it 3 times already. Its a waste of money and works when it wants to. I do not recommend the door bell camera.

United States | 23 June 2020I accidentally opened the window before turning off security system. A Vector Employee was on within 10 seconds and asked if everything was okay A verified who they where speaking to and asked for security pass code My Husband and I where very impressed

United States | 13 June 2020Do not sign their “agreement” it’s a contract that they will not give you any type of wiggle room with. We have multiple instances where our alarm would go off at like 3 am or random times because the sensors were not aligned properly and absolutely horrify myself and our children. We also have had so many times where the videos would stop recording who was at our front door or wouldn’t load the live feed to show us live who was there. It’s the worst feeling ever especially when you are out of town and you get a notification saying movement at front door but then never get to know who or what was at your front door. To top it all off our home got demolished by a tornado so we don’t even have the home anymore that we had our security system at and they still sent us a bill for almost $800 because they said we had to pay the remaining time left on our contract. Blows my mind that they are more worried about their $800 than they are the fact that their customer lost their home in a tornado. Really really horrible customer service. Look elsewhere if you want to be treated nicely and if you want to feel your home and your family is protected!!

United States | 12 June 2020We recently had our alarm system upgraded and have already had a system failure. We had 2 false smoke alarms at last evening/early morning. Called first thing for a service call and could not be scheduled for 2 weeks, entirely too long to wait for a security system repair. Had we not been home, which would not be uncommon in the summer, I fear that the fire company may have broken into the house to look for the fire.

United States | 19 April 2020I purchased a home 2 years ago and it was the best decision of my life. The worst decision of my home purchase was signing this 3 year agreement. The camera system is terrible, it is continually getting fixed. The cameras allow you to set limits on recording and how much movement and or not it catches and starts recording. It all is terrible. I have set these limits, walked through them with customer service and took their recommendations. I still have hundreds of recordings a day, reach my monthly quota and then they stop recording. Save yourself and go with Nest or ADT or any other service. I feel like I was ripped off.
