I went & I bough the batteries to find out there were not has good. I have waited 4 days already listened to the beep & I couldn't wait another week. When I complain that I have pay extra money for this service, then they found someone. I have been with this company for a long time and I hope next time I need help I will get a better service.

United States | 25 April 2017The service is typically good but the people who call when the alarm is set off are not always properly trained. It seems to me that they should be given a script that is easy to follow. But on several occasions, the Vector caller has referred to my husband or me by name rather than asking our name -- clearly at odds with the purpose of the call, which is to test the identity of the person answering the phone. I have brought this to the attention of management on more than one occasion.

United States | 25 April 2017I've been with Vector for over four years. The monitoring is very good. The sub-contractors they use for repairs are horrible. They have no evening hours and you wait over 2 weeks for weekend appointments. They don't show up and don't call to notify you. I was without service for over a month and half until the company can "work" around my work schedule. Once the repair person came,all was taken care of. Vector monitoring and calling customer service are great! Repairs NOT so much!

United States | 21 April 2017Alex came to install my system and did an excellent job. He started by arriving on time and showing me his Vector I.D, he then went through the work order with me. At the end of the install Alex did a very good job showing me how to use the system, he also offered me a camera to add on to the job but I politely declined. Overall all my experience with Vector Security as a company has been wonderful

United States | 16 March 2017When terminating my service, I had to go through a lot of changes(writing a letter, scanning it , and sending it to a special department) that should have been easier and not so time consuming. I was promised a refund for my unused service more than a month ago and , to date, I have not received it or been told when it will come.

They have a reasonable price, professional technicians, very good customer care, and respond very fast to your requests or questions. I find their blog instructive and I would recommend their services to anybody interested to get security services and peace of mind.

Recently I've had to contact Vector a few times for repair service and billing questions. Each time, I've had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Kevin and I must say It was such a pleasure! He was personable, helpful, patient and polite!

United States | 09 February 2017I have Vector security at my home for two years now due to a three year contract. In these two years my equipment acted up two times. I had a similar experience both times. I would get a call early in the morning from the monitoring department that they have received trouble signals from the equipment. Since I had purchased the additional warranty, I asked to talk to the service department, who took all details of everything from me, and then said that I will be contacted by the local team that will set up an appointment within 48 hours. Three days went by and I did not receive the call. Upon calling them again to follow up, I was told that someone will contact me within the next 48 hours. Still no call. And I still get the call every morning from the monitoring department. Few days later, someone named Kevin calls me to ask if someone came by, and I reported negative. 3 days have gone by since. I am stuck with a contract, equipment issues and non existent customer service.

United States | 08 February 2017Vector Corporate refuses to let me out of my contract despite me being relocated for work to a place they DO NOT cover. Plus they are taking the equipment out of the house, so what am I still paying for? Just don't do it and call ADT. I thought working with a smaller local company would have benefits as I like to support the local business however, in this case I wish I would have just called a real organization. Stay away at all costs unless you know you will never leave your house under any situation.
