United States | 19 August 2017The best alarm company I have ever had. Punctual and professional courtesy service. Whenever there is an alarm monitoring station gets back to me in under a minute. Rates are very reasonable. Up to the present time they have an impeccable record and I will not hesitate to recommended them.

United States | 02 August 2017Inflexible. We are moving out of the country and were willing to keep our service...even EXTEND our service, but we asked that the video monitoring be turned off. Don't want renters thinking we can spy on them. Plus, we wanted to reduce the amount of financial obligations we had in the states. But Vector wouldn't budge. Wouldn't allow us to extend our contract (making MORE money off us then they would have in the long run). They simply do not work with you. After dealing with pushy sales people and then this, it simply isn't a good experience. I do not recommend Vector.

United States | 22 June 2017The remotes don't work. I am still angry that you changed the contract with no warning and raised my price after 8 years all of a sudden by 25%. No improvement or increase in service, just a big hike in price.

United States | 06 June 2017Service tech came out to look at broken connection and said that he did not have part on truck and would return. Still waiting after several weeks. Have not heard back or received any calls about when they would be back.

United States | 06 June 2017The monitoring service is top notch. The customer service leaves much to be desired. I've been trying to get issues with my system worked out for months without success. Both front and back door chime with the same "front door" alert. The front door locks stopped working about 3 months after being installed. Tried using the battery replacement instructions to correct the issue, still didn't work and can't get anyone on the phone to come out or walk me through how to fix the issue. Had to remove some services from my plan (Air conditioning controls). Not sure if that was an included service or if I'm paying extra for something I'm not using. Can't get any one on the phone to answer my questions or to request a maintenance visit.

The technician was terrific. He spent all the time I needed to help me understand how to operate everything. I would recommend Vector Security.

United States | 17 May 2017This is the most dishonest and disappointing company I have ever dealt with. One example: a system is supposed "to move" with a customer. Our representative in Naples, FL, AAA, refused to remove our system before we closed the sale on our home. After the closing, the company actually went to the new owners and expected to be let into the house to remove the system. This was, somehow, our fault. Another: We never -literally never- use the system. I have called to have a premium service removed repeatedly. On two occasions, I was told that it would be removed from my bill. When it wasn't, I called back and there was no history of me ever making a call. In other words, apparently call/account history was deleted, for no record of my existed. I refused to pay the extra fees and unfortunately, collections is being threatened over $10 and $10.70. I have even given in and paid the charges, yet the payments weren't posted nor were the checks cashed. DO NOT even consider this company. You will regret it. This is a review from a current customer...not a fake review. In fact, I have to enter my account number to submit this.

The customer service center took my information and said they would call back. NEVER DID! So, I called back. Same situation happens again. "Someone will contact you" Well no one does. They get you to sign up and forget about you. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!!!

United States | 11 May 2017I have to rate Vector Security as Average because, for long term customers, upgrades are on the last things to do for their customers. I have had Vector Security for over 8 years and I received 1 upgrade which was not the newest upgrade. So, I will have to get another upgrade that is not current with the on going market. Other than that their monitoring system is really good, their response time is great .
