United States | 26 October 2016I have been a customer of Vector for more than one year. Recently we have to move from Georgia to Florida. However, before we move to our new place we contacted Vector to ask if they have service in our new location. We provide Vector our new address and they told us that our new location was under their service area. A couple week before we moved their representative Billy Kelly stop by our house and told us that Vector was going to transfer our system to our new location. Also, Billy Kelly told us that he was going to stop by the following week to drop off the new equipment for our new location. We left state and Billy Kelly never came back to our house, we call him several times and he never answered the phone. We are being calling since August and the information provide is the same since day one. We arrive to our new location and contacted Vector to arrange an installation day and we find out that the do not cover our area. In top off that today I received an invoice from Vector Security charging us $1,900.23 dollars for cancellation. I really don’t understand how they want to charge me that amount, since the beginning they told me that they will going to transfer the system to our new location. Second, after we have arrived to our location and contact them to schedule an installation, they come back to us that they do not service the area.

Didn't want anything Free but keep in mind good customers like me help grow companies..

United States | 13 October 2016After updating my wireless security to 256 bit encryption, I could not get the garage opener to work. Vector insisted on sending a "technician" to my home to re-code the app. It took him four hours to do this ( I would estimate at least 4 cigarette breaks of 15 minutes each in his truck) after multiple phone calls. He berated me for having security cameras in the house, insulted my beautiful home and said that "his " security consisted of two dogs and two cats.

United States | 12 October 2016We needed to have a repair person reconnect some sensors on new sliding doors. It was a very long process. First call I waited 18 minutes. And was told a technician would call to confirm. Nothing happened. After the weekend I called again. This time it was 9 minutes on hold. Finally spoke to someone who gave me a date and time frame. We never had this before and we've had the service for 25 years. Isn't there an easier way to schedule maintenance? Or do we have to set the alarm off?

United States | 11 October 2016I like Vector Security. I opened the basement door and set off my alarm. I ran upstairs to turn off the alarm. Just that quick and Vector was calling to check on us! I feel safe in my home and that is that best part!
