I made an order with this company for an integrated fridge/freezer because another big retailer let us down. I was very pleased with the efficiency of the ordering and delivery service, which was better than expected. I was, however, disappointed with the condition of the fridge/freezer I received, which was described as "new" in the online listing, with only packaging being damaged. This was acceptable since I made similiar purchases in the past from other companies, and was never disappointed. But the product that was delivered has many finger and other visible marks (minor scratches, a shoe print), and a few dents at the back, which cannot be removed. I know these will not be visible once the fridge is "integrated" into a cabinet and should not affect the functioning of the appliance, but the fridge should have been described as a graded product and cosmetic imperfections mentioned accordingly in the listing. The interior of the fridge is more or less "new", as described. I imagine the company processes large quantities of goods, but I hope that they can improve on the description of products in their listings, so the customers can make informed decisions and avoid disappointment.

I ordered a cooker, it was delivered but as the driver tried to unload it, it fell off the sack truck and landed on the road with a heavy smash- I obviously called to say I nolonger wanted cooker as could obviously have suffered internal damage in the fall. I was told by director that they’d refund me and they did . It was a large range cooker and delivered by one man so not ideal. Personally, I have found appliance depot a very unprofessional company to deal with and I wouldn’t use or recommend them again.

I purchased a Bosch integrated fridge freezer for an upcoming new build project. When I installed the appliance at the final stage of the build I discovered that it was sent with a cracked plug, a missing shelf, and missing fittings - and most important DID NOT WORK. I have now been without a working fridge/freezer in my new home for two weeks now with no end in sight. Had to get a Bosch engineer to come out - and the item still does not work. Another engineer is due a week from now (!). This could be remedied easily, yet as of this writing the company refuses to take responsibility and refund my money or offer a replacement appliance. Shockingly poor treatment and the experience has put a huge damper on what was to be an exciting chapter of moving into - and enjoying - my new home. :( Edit- I am shocked to see how the company refuses to take any responsibility at all in its responses and places blame on the customer. My appliance was carefully stored in a locked facility in preparation for my build, and was absolutely not damaged by my team. The appliance was sold to me with a cracked plug, missing shelf, and missing fittings in addition to being faulty. Not once have I received any sort of apology for the way this has been handled and continues to be handled. Appalling customer service.

Purchased an American Fridge Freezer (HB16WMAA Graded American Steel Cube (JUB-7891) #256071143875) from the Appliance Depot. The advert on eBay was not as described on the advert. The freezer had more damage than was advertised or stated in the ad. It was also missing the vegetable tray, ice tray, and water tray. These items cost over £100 on eBay. The Fridge was sold to me at £450 and it did not fit that price because of the damage and missing component. Plus, it was well used, and not new. Therefore, the advert was misleading. The images of the items do not show the damage to the fridge. In fact, it was fraud by false representation. That is against the law because the Appliance Depot deliberately lied or misrepresented the truth when conducting a transaction in order to make a financial gain for themselves and cause a loss to another party. That is me in this case. As a result of their lies, I have suffered significant monetary loss.I had discussions with them to resolve the matter amicably, but they refused. They made several promises to reduce their price but did not live up to their promises. When I contacted them on Saturday (04/11/2023), they were offering less than we had agreed on Friday (03/11/2023). I returned the fridge on Monday the 6th of November 2023. However, they refused to accept it. They informed me that it had to be delivered while standing up. However, by the time they informed me about that, it was already on the way, and we could not deliver it as they wished. Therefore, they refused it.If I could advise anyone, I would say do not buy anything from them because they are conmen. The items they sell are not as advertised or shown in the photos. Their customer service is a sham. There is no customer service. They are all conmen and fraudsters. Do not believe a single word they sell. I am trying to get my refund from PayPal and eBay. I am advocating that they should not be allowed to sell on eBay because their modus operandi is to cause other people to lose money through misleading adverts, lies, and fraud.I have since found out from reading reviews on this platform that I am not the only one who has fallen prey to these fraudsters. There several other one-star reviews saying the very same thing I experienced. It is a pity that I did not read these before making my purchase. I hope no one else makes the same error.I may not get my money back. However, if my review can help someone, and prevent someone else from losing more money to these criminals, then the effort is well worth it. Somebody must alert the public about these rip-offs. These are criminals masquerading as a genuine business. Do not be deceived by their business name. It is a scam run by adept scammers. I am a legitimate customer performing my customer service in the public interest. My review is in the public interest to really expose the criminal facade of the Appliance Depot.

We bought an American style fridge freezer from Appliance depot, the item has significant damage. It's clear now that the item was sold as damaged, but the advert did not make it clear. It said graded, but we did not understand this terminology. It also had a description of the damage but this was not included in the description of the item, instead it was at the very bottom of the page, well below the pay button and all other information, it is very difficult to find. We have since visited the website again and even the images of damaged products do not always show the damage to the product. It feels very misleading and could be made a lot clearer. If you are buying from them, look out for 'graded' items.

Good place to buy from but once they have your money that's it. If you have a problem down the line like I did, they will not help. Totally useless customer support and don't know that the customer contract is with them and not the manufacturer. Do yourselves a favour, pay more and shop elsewhere for good after sales support as none is offered by these cowboys. I'll be now be taking things further through the small claims court to resolved this.

Really unpleasant behaviour. Delivered a defective (supposedly new) oven. Refused to respond AT ALL to enquiries for months until I threatened legal action. Offered a lot of offhand/unprofessional excuses as to why they couldn't respond/fix item/honour warranty... Finally grudgingly offered a small discount and to fix the item. Item was not fixed, the official engineer they called out said it couldn't be fixed and the company should give me a new oven. The company point blank refused to replace it, in the end they removed the oven and refunded me but did NOT refund the expensive installation costs for which I paid, despite having (possibly knowingly) supplied an oven that was very clearly defective. So I was left considerably out of pocket, as well as wasting a great deal of time on it (I mean hours and hours over around a year, trying to get through on the phone, writing numerous emails, waiting for electrician/removal people.) Have learned my lesson. (And should have paid more attention to the bad reviews I read instead of hoping for the best from positive ones.) Please do not waste your time and energy with this company, instead go to a reputable seller... The money you might save will definitely not be worth it compared to the vast amounts of time wasted and defective products!
