Got a graded bosch 60/40 fridge freezer and I love it so much ,got about 250 off the price and couldn't be happier , I would use the company again

So, ordered a hotpoint free standing freezer, even rang to check all the details were correct. The item was due for delivery tomorrow, I booked a day off work and prepared the house for the delivery of the freezer. I got a phone call today to say that the item is not in the warehouse and that my order will be cancelled and refunded, the only reason I used this company is they said they could get us the freezer quicky for the 14th, I am now left to find another freezer, which I doubt will arrive for xmas, as I can see that all the other reviews are not answered I can only put this review up to warn others to have a low expectation

DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO BUY FROM APPLIANCE DEPOT…. I had a new smeg oven fitted 7 weeks ago and the main oven still isn’t working…. And the company will not replace even after the repair engineer that they sent has tried everything to repair and recommended a replacement….. the whole process has caused much upset and anxiety…..

I purchased a Smeg dishwasher in 2020 which has now developed a fault. Appliance Depot seem to be doing everything they can to wriggle out of any liability for a warranty repair. They claim to have no record of the order, claim the item was sold as "graded" which is not the case, claim there is only a 1-year warranty although the law states otherwise. My best advice would be to steer clear of this dodgy little business; similar prices can be found elsewhere with far more honest retailers.

This is the most awful company that l have ever had to deal with on all levels My unfortunate saga started back in March when l made my first huge mistake by buying from these cowboys dealt with Jess who was very good paid by card the item arrived on the day agreed a few tiny marks but seeing as this was the only company that had this Hob l had no choice but but to buy from them .A week or so later l booked a gas safe Enginneer to fit it to find that a crucial elbow that was required was missing l rang and told them they sent the missing part and a week later the Hob was fitted .l took up with JS Appliance’s my bill from our plumber for an abortive visit of £90 and after a lot of shouting and one of the managers threatened to remove the Hob and leave a hole in a brand new oak worktop l took the £50.00 to find out when it was fitted it didn’t work !!!!! At that point of desperation l rang again and they arranged SMEG to fix 5 faults ‘4 of which were fixed. the Enginneer then wrote a report saying that the Hob is basically scrap .I rang JS and the nightmare has started all over again they said that they had not received the report (yet another lie) l sent the report to them and made them stay on the phone until they had received my copy of the report sent from SMEG they acknowledged and said that a manager would be back to me shortly l then rang multiple times and was told that the manager was on the phone talking to SMEG yet another lie . They treat me and many other like a fool this is by far from over PLEASE DONT MAKE MY MISTAKE AND BUY FROM THESE COWBOYS WHO WOULD NOT KNOW THE TRUTH IF IT HIT THEM IN THE FACE

We recently bought a oven from these guys, a little concerned about some of the reviews but went ahead. Paid on a credit card just in case. Prompt delivery and a pleasant delivery guy arrived at our door. He assured us that if there were any issues the company would remedy it. Anyway the oven we bought was an "A" grade so only some minor damage to the packaging . After unpacking the box (didn't really notice any problems with packaging) all we could find was a minor dent in the rear shell and as the oven was a built in appliance this was of no consequence. We have fitted the oven in and have been using it for 2 months and have NO problems whatsoever. The oven works perfectly well, looks great and we are more then happy with it. All I can say is that our product was an "A" grade and we got it for substantially less then the retail price and it is perfect. Our next appliance will be ordered with the Appliance Depot.

Don't believe what you read on the website. Very poor after-sales service. Low prices but you take a big big risk with this company. Purchased a good quality NEFF built in oven, ex-display,"under warranty". Simply did not work. After four weeks without an oven and two visits NEFF engineer declared the appliance irreparable and reported that it should not have been sold under warranty in the first place. Appliance Depot agreed to provide the same model from stock, replacing the original, but it would take a further week to deliver. So we made the 90 minute round trip to Leicester ourselves (we are lucky we live less than 20 miles away) to swap the oven over. We also had to pay our builder an extra £100 pounds to swap the two ovens around. At no point have they recognised that there was any fault on their part (it is clear that they did not test the oven before sending it to us, they made only a visual inspection), or that selling us an oven that did not work or inconveniencing us required their going out of their way e.g. arranging a special delivery,offering a discount or similar to make up for our inconvenience. I am contacting NEFF to question why warranty is issued for this company when they do not check appliances before sale.

If you want to be lied to, have your time wasted and get delivered faulty appliances then this is the place to buy from! I have never experienced such horrendous customer service in my whole life! I order a dishwasher through them which arrived with a huge dent in it. I spoke to them and their delivery company who said they would replace it. 3 weeks later the replacement arrived which was also damaged in multiple places. The manager Steve (who was extremely rude and aggressive) told me theres nothing he will do and he won’t give me a refund and that he wasn’t going to accept any liability. I am now contacting my solicitor and will be taking this matter further.

Well, I don't know why the other reviews are so bad and to be honest I was a little apprehensive about buying from The Appliance Depot after reading the reviews. However, I have to say that we were very pleased indeed! The Appliance Depot had a great range at the cheapest prices, and what's more; Laura was just amazing! We, on the other hand, were a real pain in the backside; changing our mind after ordering online and choosing another item, bringing that one home to find it was too big, returning it to swap for another, and all through this Laura was polite, patient and very understanding, even though they were short-staffed over the bank holiday weekend and we made lots of extra work! The items were listed as box damaged and will be re-boxed for transport. However, they came in the original boxes and to be honest; it was hard to see any damage to the box at all! The ovens inside were immaculate, complete with all original packaging, protection and manuals, and once we (finally) decided on the right oven for us, we are very pleased with it. So, thank you Appliance Centre, but most of all; Thank You Laura! If your boss reads this, he should give you a pay rise! If you carry on with the excellent customer service you displayed with us, it won't be long before there are plenty of positive reviews to more than counterbalance the previous bad ones! disgrace of a company absoulte thieves! don't expect the item to be anything like the pictures! they will charge you a slightly reduced price and deliver a smashed up appliance! they will also charge you £50 if you refuse to take receipt of the crap they attempt to deliver. customer service is a joke what a truly shocking experience talking to them on the phone! I was calm and polite and was met with hostility and shouting such angry horrible staff. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering with them more negative reviews than positive just says it all. avoid at all costs

Had a dishwasher delivered today £539 arrived bashed up nothing like the photos on the website. Sent the driver away with the dishwasher. Recieved a very threatening phone call from Steve at the appliance depot who wouldn't let me speak just repeatedly shouted at me that he would be deducting a £50 charge for restocking as I had refused delivery. Worse customer service I have ever received I am still in shock at how I have been spoken to especially as they sent me a very damaged item!! Do not use they are hideous I have no idea how they are still trading.

If i could give zero stars I would,this is hands down the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Received a faulty range cooker which obviously wasn't their fault but I did expect better customer service! Informed them the first week of January that engineers report said the cooker was unfixable yet it's still sitting waiting to be collected. One of the managers told me he was too busy to email or telephone beko to chase the engineers report yet their website stated that they were still open for orders! Staff were rude and unhelpful and I would warn everyone to steer well clear!

Great service from beginning to end and Amy (lady in office) was lovely and super helpful. Had slight delivery issue as van broke down but delivered next day, without issue. I bought a Smeg dual fuel Range cooker, which is lightly used. Light damage is exactly as described and cooker is up, working and amazing. I will definitely use this company again.

Absolutely the worst ever experience, bought a Smeg microwave last December for a new build, expecting to be moving in March, kitchen designers have to work to appliance dimensions, so everything has to be bought well in advance, completed the build and signed off for habitation beginning of November ( have certificate of proof ) move in on the 12th November today is the 21st and the microwave has blown the trip and won’t work - completely dead after a weeks use. I rang the company and got some dummy ignorant woman who kept saying yeah but.. yeah but.. to everything. She said what do you expect from a graded appliance? You have had it a year! Actually it is not quite a year and I can prove when I moved in. I reckon I am not being unreasonable expecting more than a week for it to work. I thought that they were being competitive on their prices, like AO, John Lewis and the rest who will price match, I didn’t buy it as a open box microwave, and it is not fit for purpose. I should have read the reviews before I purchased from them, frankly they are ripping customers off with faulty goods - AVOID THESE ROBBERS LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Purchased a Bosch oven Nov/Dec 2019 it had a dent in the outer casing. Over the year when I have cooked a roast etc I noticed the oil was collecting on the bottom left hand side of the oven. Didn’t think much about it at first. We then wanted to clean the oven and noticed the right hand door hinge was bent. The back wall of the oven only half a side, the left hand side was stained with residue but not the right hand side? I rang the company and spoke to a very defensive female employee, she stated “so you’ve had the oven nearly a year and only just noticed?” I was explaining that we removed the glass to clean it and a male employee, manager stated maybe we hadn’t put the glass back properly, we had. They showed zero concern, no apology or offered any resolution, care or to investigate further? I was met with hostility and at no point was I rude or used expletives, I was extremely frustrated as they kept repeating the fact that I’ve had the oven 10 months. I then reached out to the finance company whom financed the appliance to ask for their assistance. They have written to the company concerned. We have now purchased a brand new Bosch oven and I’m still awaiting a response from the company and would like this situation resolved. It’s in my opinion that the oven is faulty, it may cook but it’s not operating effectively as it should. Any oil debris should pull in to the centre of the oven not one side or one side of the back wall? I wouldn’t ever purchase from this company or recommend them as they were unhelpful and defensive.

These guys are thugs. I placed an online order on a weekend for a Bosch dishwasher. There is no email confirmation as you usually get with online orders, so I called on Monday morning, only to be told that my card is flagged as 'fraud'. I asked for my order to be cancelled immediately, which they said they would do , but then they still proceeded to deduct the money from my card. I cannot get the money refunded by the company because of some flag of 'fraud'? The fraud is actually them keeping my money despite cancelling the order. I have raised a dispute resolution request with my bank but who knows how long that my take to get my money back??? keep clear of this company at all costs. Dr Yusuf Patel

Never use this company! They incorrectly advertised a fridge which I purchased for £2000. It is nearly 20cm wider than advertised. I had to pay £100 for some men to carry it inside for me, the appliance depot didn’t even take it inside for me. Once inside my kitchen, I realise they’ve delivered the WRONG fridge, and this one doesn’t fit in my kitchen at all unfortunately. They have refused to remove the fridge or give me a refund.. so now I have a HUGE fridge in my kitchen and I am down £2100. Zero apology from the appliance depot and I am now having go sue them to get them to remove it. Shocking customer service, truly rude and after weeks of trying to get them to remove the fridge they incorrectly advertised, I’ve still got this monstrosity in my kitchen and no refund! Truly the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Avoid at all costs!!!
