Sept. 16th Xue Guan Ms. Li contacted me multiple times on the 15th. She helped to resolve the promised promotion. I did see the extra points deposited into my account. I am working with her to work out the schedules. With that I am adding more stars to the overall service. Sept. 15 LingoAce responded in time publicly on TrustPilot with a quite standard canned response. I provided my contact info on TrustPilot. Previous comments: I agree with the previous reviewers that the sales team is very aggressive. I was sold $1500-worth of classes 45 days ago. I still couldn't have the proper time scheduled. None of the promised promotional points were deposited to my account either. When I called the rep, the phone suddenly became busy all the time. Before the sales was complete, the rep answered my call immediately. Is this a scam? I contacted Customer Services based on the number on the web site and asked for a full refund. Apparently they couldn't do much and referred me to Xue Guan, whom I never worked with.

After sitting through the trial, my boys asked me to sign them up for Chinese enrichment class which has never happened before. The teachers are fun and patient. Most importantly, they are always encouraging. At the same time, the customer service consultant, Chrixten, made the whole process of signing up easy and fuss free. Patiently, she explained and addressed all my concerns and queries. She also painstakingly drew up a suitable schedule for my P3 boy who is going to take his year end exam for the first time. I'm grateful for all the assistance rendered by Chrixten. It has been a wonderful experience with Lingoace thus far!

Maylyn is the sales personnel which was introduced to me in lingoace. She is very patient & professional & not hard selling. She went extra mile to offer her help if I encountered with some issues like booking for class or change of class time. Renewal of classes not under her care but she still help me & negotiate for good offer. My boy has gradually interested in Chinese. My advice for parents to have 1-1 class if your pocket allows as the teacher can focus solely on him & changing on class timing is more flexible.

The classes are not very flexible as what some of the international parents are saying. The customer service was very sneaky, they exude a lot of confidence when you question a lot on their courses but they are mostly young people who make a lot of claims but the teachers just don't deliver. They are use good psychology in speaking with you, agreeing and listening to your problems so u feel heard but the international classes are sub par. Some teachers are decent but they are very limited and after a while repetitive in the style of teaching. They give a lot of reasons to dissuade you from thinking the teachers or the classes are bad, but they don't deliver. All I can say is good marketing but don't fall for it.

My girl had enjoyed her lesson , the Teachers was engaging . And I can see she was motivated and always looking forward to her lesson . I signed her up for 1 to 1 and group class lesson . The course consultant - Maylyn assisted me and always helpful for my queries. Because of her positive attitude and assurance, which make me decided to sign up both packages .

I enrolled my eldest son as he was struggling in understanding the language. I am so glad that he enjoys the lesson since it is always fun and interactive. I enrolled my two other children too as they asked for it after seeing their brother enjoying the lesson.

My son enjoys attending every lesson. The interactive animation is very interesting. Most importantly, my son shows more interest on Chinese subject now. He likes his Lingoace teacher, who is a friendly native Chinese speaking teacher. Highly recommended.

They advertise 1 free trial class and 27 prerecorded classes once click through he Facebook ad. They gave a free trial class but when I asked for the 27 prerecorded classes they said you only get it when sign up. I complained it was a false advertisement, they didn't clarify or apologies but simply replied 'so do you want to sign up?'(in Chinese as they do not support English customer service) . If this is the response I get before paying, image what kind of service I will get after payment! For the classes, I find the teacher redundant, it is just someone reading the script and waiting for the child to reply. And kids spend a lot of time on thinking how to reply. It would be much better if it was a interactive software through out without the teacher. The class (software) is fixed and is too simple for children already have some foundation.

I tried lingoace with a conservative mindset because i am not sure if online learning is beneficial. but will lots of changes due to Covid19, i just took a step out and Lingoace has free trials. My sales Consultant Peggy is extremely helpful. I don't like pushy sales person and she is not at all. In fact i ask more qns to her before i sign up my kids in the end, not one kid but both. And she is very spontaneous and providing many help even after sales service. The teachers recommended by her are fantastic. My elder 6yo girl whom i have no intention to join initially is liking the classes so much. Recommender Teacher Hao Dan Dan too. thumbs up for Lingoace!

Very aggressive sales I was offered 70 some classes for $1500. This has to be paid in advance. We did a trial class, the teacher was making a great effort but more routinely rehearsed lines than making real conversations during teaching. The prewritten material is very very babyish and even some English part had grammar errors. it’s not customized to my kid. My kid is 10 and only learned like one new word in an hour class. It’s like a online Babysitting chatting service than serious Chinese language learning. She treated my kid like a toddler basically. I don’t think realistically why would anyone want to sign up and prepay for that many classes in advance to an oversea company. What if they go out of business or decide to quit, I am sure it’d be very hard to get any refund. The sales person is very aggressive and very annoying. He keeps texting and calling on WeChat and then on the regular phone. As soon as we finished the trial class he calls me on WeChat not even a minute for people to think through. The teacher is pushy too. She requested to speak to the parent and pushes for 2 classes a week minimum. Also they took a snapshot image of the class with my kid and me on it and sent in WeChat!!! Shouldn’t they ask for permission before taking people’s pictures and send on social media? They don’t respect people’s privacy and I don’t think they know or want to know what that really means. In addition I see other parents keep posting this company’s ads on WeChat to get so called discounts or free bonus classes. If they don’t post their ads on wechat they will probably lose their discounts or whatever. All these behaviors really turned me away from signing up.

Teaching material is out of date and very boring. Teacher has little flexibility due to the required curriculum. Private lesson should be unique by mingling all together (history, geography and other subjects my middle schooler likes), not just simply follow 3rd grade elementary school text book, it kills the fun of learning.
