Sended sevaral emails with my bank account to invoice that my purse was sold. They keep ignoring my emails, I didn't received money from the sold purse. I had a great experience, i ordered a bag, it arrived in 3 days and its even in better condition and details than i have expected it to be. Literally almost a brand new bag for more than half a price of a retail. Absolutely love it. The only thing to mention is that you see prices in uk pounds but at the point of sale you kinda pay in dollars. Absolutely great service, thank you guys! Alex

How is it that I just purchased two belts from Gucci (black marmont in the skinny and wide with) for $460 and $470 but on the luxury closet the same belts are $480 second hand?

First time customer. Package was fast received and item was also as described and seems authentic, but packaging could have been a bit better (my package was a bit smashed). However, I don’t think that ordering from The Luxury Closet for customers in the US is really worth it since they don’t ship it as Delivery Duty Paid (DDP). If your item is above the threshold of $800, you have to pay duties so keep that into account when thinking of buying something. My item was only a little bit over $800 but it added up quickly. You also have to pay a hefty fee to the delivery courier, DHL, for them “handling” the customs duty for you. In my case it was $17 which is the minimum you have to pay since they calculate it based on a percentage of the item’s amount (I think it’s 6% with a minimum of $17). I felt as this was very unreasonable and I wasn’t aware that I have to pay a fee to DHL in addition to customs duty. So again, keep that in mind! I read that you can opt out of that fee by driving to the airport, checking in with customs, and paying the duty yourself by letting DHL know in advance. But who does that really in the middle of a global pandemic?! With all those duties and fees my item wasn’t that much cheaper compared to what I would have paid for a brand-new one in store. If you find a stellar deal on their site, go for it! Otherwise I would advise to shop at similar stores in the US (TRR, Rebag, Fashionphile, etc.) or at a store overseas that ships DDP —because most of them do these days.

The selection is very good and am happy with all the bags I receive. However the duties that I have to pay are incredibly high (50-60%) so I end up purchasing not very expensive bags although my heart is with others. Is there anyway to circumvent this rule because these are pre owned and not new
