Having had a stressful morning compounded by the inevitable security of cutting keys, Mariam was calm and responded to my worry by imparting her calmness on me. She sorted the issue and I could not be more impressed. Everyone in customer service should meet Mariam! Brilliant and thank you.

United Kingdom | 16 December 2024The Banham maintenance engineer was fine and he did the maintenance competently, but we waited from 8:30- to nearly 13:00 for the visit as scheduled and upon calling Banham was told there had been a delay and it was now due 2-3pm. Nobody had bothered to call and let us know. Even though the engineer said he'd let the office know at 10:30 that day. we had to cancel arrangements for the afternoon, and wasted the best part of the day waiting in. not great customer service.

United Kingdom | 16 December 2024SHAMEFUL & INCOMPETENT I have a banham security alarm which has been incorrectly installed. When they attempted to service the alarm the engineer stated that the battery could not be accessed because the boarding in the loft prevented them from accessing the panel therefore I would need the loft boarding company to remove some boarding. I did so at my cost and time. Upon a second visit from their engineer he stated he still could not access the panel because the alarm module had been incorrectly installed on a joist. He stated a report would be made to Banham detailing that they had incorrectly installed the alarm and that someone would contact me to discuss the options. After 2 weeks nobody contacted me so I raised a complaint. Upon recieving the complaint, Banham, to my utter disgust attempted to blame me for the installation! I have attempted numerous phone calls and emails to resolve this with Banham making every effort to delay any resolution. It has been over 5 weeks since I raised this complaint and Banham have not resolved this in anyway despite their complaints resolution SLA stating 10 days resolution. Despite numerous requests for a phone call back and escalation, no action has been taken other than Banham attempting to send an engineer who has no authority or option to relocate the alarm panel. I have paid a monthly service charge as well as monthly installation cost, in addition Banham has had the audacity to auto renew my monthly service charge for 2025 as well as a price increase!!! I am now in the process of taking Banham to small claims courts. Please do not bother with Banham and opt for a local security alarm installer who will be cheaper. *******************UPDATE*********************** The response below from Banham further shows the level of incompetence. There is no recognition of the fact that they are well beyond their resolution time frame, no mention of what they are doing to refund my payments to them for breach of contract, no attempt to call me back despite multiple requests nor is their any recognition that the engineer attending has no control over repositioning the alarm panel or that a field engineer will not attend until the 19th Jan. All the while Banham continue to charge me. ************UPDATE 14TH DEC**************** Following a site visit on the 17th December the engineer advised me that he would recommend to Banham that the alarm be repositioned and that I would receive a call back from the head office in the afternoon. I did not recieve a call, instead I received a dismissive email from Banham stating that the alarm battery had been changed, that they in no way had they breached the contract and the matter was now resolved. On all accounts that was false as the battery had not been changed, the contract was breached as they had not undertaken one complete annual service charge and the installation was not undertaken properly, therefore the matter was utterly not resolved! I have called Banham today to discuss the complaint. When I asked to be put through to the complaint handler I was left on hold for 40mins without response. I continue to pay the service charge and the installation costs despite Banham not resolving the issue.

United Kingdom | 14 December 2024The scheduling of visits is done 100% at your convenience and you don't even pretend otherwise. Then on 2 occasions (once we have arranged to be at home) you cancelled bse your people were unavailable etc. You are a service business but the service is not great.

I had James Gluckstein come round to do the survey, he was friendly, efficient and professional, gave me all the information I needed and I didn't feel like I was being sold anything, just being given all the information needed to make an informed decision. I don't have the engineers name that installed the locks but he was great too, very professional, quick and very tidy. He gave me an overview of what he'll be doing, what my door will look like after and said he can tweak how he installs it depending on my plans with the door in the future. The locks are in and my door immediately felt extra secure. Security is not something to go cheap with in any aspect of life ever. If you're looking for a new lock, I can't recommend Banham higher. I leave some brutally honest reviews on here and one day I will invest in a Banham fortress so I can write more but until then I feel safe with these new locks :D
