United Kingdom | 07 January 2025For two years running Banham have asked us to pay for next year's contract before they have honoured the current year. Their maintenance dept is slow, if at all, to answer the phone and totally disorganised when they do. You are given a date for maintenance and they then show up two weeks earlier than scheduled. They guarantee in writing a first apt between 8:30 -10:00 but then show up at 11:15. Their engineer discovers two screws are missing - one he can replace from the stock in his van, the other (only accessible via an engineer) having to be replaced via a separate call out for which Banham want to charge labour and parts when the missing screw can only have been lost by a previous engineer if it was ever there from the initial Banham installation.

For at least the second time when I’ve asked for security and fire maintenance to be completed at the same visit, only a security trained engineer has arrived. Complete waste of my time. My fire maintenance has not been done despite paying a huge fee. Would not recommend this company

Italy | 05 January 2025We’ve used Banham products at home for more than 10 years and the quality is excellent, although they are not cheap. On occasion, their customer service lets them down, though, and it can take days or even weeks to get a response from them. This is especially frustrating when you have an urgent security issue. Last year our tenants were unable to exit the house via the back garden due to a jammed Banham security gate, putting their safety at risk in case of a fire. After trying unsuccessfully to reach Banham for weeks, I finally called an independent locksmith who fixed the problem on the same day. However, Banham apologised for the situation and compensated us for the additional expenses incurred. Mistakes do happen, and I really appreciate when a company acknowledges their error and takes steps to rectify the situation. For that reason, I will certainly continue Banham for our home security.

The installers would turn up and not have the knowledge to install what was needed and we must have seen at least 4 different people. recently we booked our annual maintenance and on 3 occasions everything was booked and we stayed in waiting for them only for them either to not show up at all or cancel at the very last minute. There has not been one part of this organisation that we have found not to be totally incompetent.
