Russell Dean's reputation precedes them. They are a long established family company offering a vast array of furniture to suit every taste. My family have all bought from them in the past. We visited the new showrooms for the first time and we were not disappointed. Having already done some research ourselves, we knew what we wanted. We were greeted by Mark Huntington who took a great deal of time to reassure us that we had made the right choice for our family circumstances. He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable and he made the whole experience enjoyable. We have ordered two sofas and we are excited to receive them. We will certainly be back and would have no hesitation in recommending the company.

After searching high and low for 2 accent chairs, we called in at Russell Dean. Samantha was the first to greet us with a ‘happy new year!’ And then left us alone to have a wander. She then asked what we were after and with her guidance found just the right thing at the right price! There was no forcefulness, just direct, professional service! Well done and Thankyou!

We visited on New Year's Eve and were served by Samantha who listened to what we were interested in and helpfully directed us in terms of styles, fabrics, colours and price. Samantha then gave us time to browse and measure the pieces that we were interested in and checked back occasionally. We eventually ordered 2 sofas - we were impressed by the range of furniture on display and Samantha's patience in helping us through the buying process.

Yesterday, we visited Russell Dean, our local furniture store, and can’t thank David (Dawson) enough for helping us find the right settee to meet our needs. On arrival, we just had our measurements on a piece of scrap paper and knew we wanted a corner unit. It was through David’s careful questioning, knowledge of his products, patience and calm approach that we were able to find the right, really comfy, sofa for us. Can’t wait for delivery. On our visit to Russel Dean’s after looking at lots of furniture shops for a leather sofa chair and footstool a assistant called David ask if we needed any assistance he wasn’t pushy he was very knowledgeable and made it easier for use to pick out what we wanted .

We found Russell Dean purely by accident while out looking for a new 3 piece suite. The company wasn't on our list to visit, but as we were driving past and it made sense to stop and look. We wandered around the showroom at our leisure, feeling relaxed as we did so. No pushy sales people hassling us, just someone there to help and answer my questions as needed. Then off we went to the next retailer. The following day, after touring several furniture stores the day before, it was back to Russell Dean. We dealt with Allan, a true professional, who had time to discuss and compare the different 3 piece suite manufacturers and products. No pushy sales people, just down to earth, friendly people who had a real interest in their customers and requirements. Nothing was too much. Our new suite is on ordered and we await delivery. A further benefit is we know exactly where to go next time we need furniture.

Despite being short staffed Samantha gave me her undivided attention in helping me choose the perfect superking divan base for myself. She patiently went through all the various suppliers and I was also able to select one that customised the height for my specific needs and gave me everything that I needed. Thank you, what I expected to be a long process turned out to be efficient and pleasant!

Very helpful, friendly staff. No pressure to buy. Your allowed to wander round and consider your options. Once we were ready to discuss what we required, the sales assistant Samantha was extremely helpful and explained all the options with regards to fabrics, colours etc. Excellent approach from all concerned.

I called into Russell Deans to help my Mum look for a new lounge suite and Samantha was so helpful and informative that I decided to look at beds whilst I was there too. Ended up going away with lots of valuable advice, then returned with my husband last week where Samantha was equally as helpful (going through the information again) which gave us the confidence to place an order there and then and we are now looking forward to its delivery. Looking for a new bed has been something we've been putting off for ages, and we needn't have, we just needed to head straight to Russell Deans! Samantha was our sales person who spent time with us to make sure we had made the right decision on 2 sofas. She was very patient and efficient and we were very happy with the service.

We visited this store last week and were greeted by Laura E who was friendly , welcoming but allowed us to browse at our leisure. We were impressed by the range on offer and the store in general. When we found a few suites we liked Laura was again on hand to guide us through the different qualities, features etc. Her overall knowledge was so helpful and once our decision was made she gave guidance on furniture aftercare and assisted with placing the order. Although we haven’t yet received the suite it was refreshing to receive such great service and we hope to return when we need further furniture in the future. Thank you Laura

When looking to replace our sofa my first thought was Mytholmroyd and Russell dean, we haven’t been disappointed. My contact throughout our purchase was Samantha and from getting photos of stock in the sale we could choose a suite without trailing from shop to shop. Once agreed on we visited the store to confirm our choice and was well looked after by Samantha who showed us the suite and the many cushions it came with. It has been delivered this morning and the two guys were professional throughout (Paul and Wayne) taking care through tight doorways and arranging everything before they left. 5 ⭐️ service throughout.
