We wanted to try an Ercol sofa that was not on display; professional attention was given to us both by Miriam, who kept us updated on when the display model would be in store, and Syka who advised us on fabric choices and wood finish and completed the order for us. Just Visited the outstandingly refurbished Russell Dean furniture Store at Mytholmroyd. After looking around at leisure we found a suitable suite and Mark H was so helpful in that he allowed us to take samples home and helped us so much in every aspect of the sale.We have had 3 visits and on the last occasion he had to amend the order as we changed our mind over the fabric.Nothing was too much for him. We will have no hesitation in recommending this store.

Syka was very professional and, at the same time,friendly in assisting us to choose a suitable electric recliner chair for my wife, explaining the features and operation in a most helpful manner. She also treated us to tea and coffee just as we like it (with Lotus biscuits - a favourite of mine!). The Russell Dean showrooms are well laid out and attractive. We are impressed by the design of the building which safeguards against water damage in the hopefully unlikely repetition of the disastrous floods which have affected Mytholmroyd in recent years. The recently refurbished showroom and underground carpark in Mytholmroyd is excellent. There is a massive range of all types of furnishings and we were spoilt for choice. Miriam, the sales assistant who dealt with us, was polite, very knowledgeable and allowed us to come to our own conclusions as to what style of furniture we wanted. We went to Russell Dean to look for sofas. Syka Hussain was excellent in helping us find the style that we were after whilst offering us choices in the various combinations and alternatives. She helped answer all our questions and gave us the time to browse and take our time. We would recommend both her excellent customer service and Russell Dean.

After searching for a corner sofa at all the ‘big brand’ stores we looked in Russell Dean and were really impressed with the quality, range and friendly atmosphere. We decided upon a lovely leather corner sofa with a contrasting fabric armchair. It was Syka that helped us and she was fantastic as we took a long time deciding on colours, sizing etc. When delivery day came, unfortunately part of the corner sofa wouldn’t fit up the staircase 😖 this was right before Christmas and we had already sold our old sofa. Alan (manager) arranged for a loan sofa to be brought out to us over the Christmas period. Alan then organised a second delivery using scaffolding and additional man power to get it through our Juliet balcony. Thank goodness they managed. The furniture is so superior to anything else we saw and the customer service has been outstanding. Thank goodness we used this local company who genuinely look after their local customers. Thank you so much for all your time and effort in ensuring we got our furniture and had something to sit on over Christmas.
