They are refusing to refund me & fighting against FOS they know they were wrong as they didn’t review my circumstances when I asked for a loan. Absolutely disgraceful company and the interest rate is beyond ridiculous!!! EVERYONE WHO HAS SENSE WILL STAY AWAY AND SOON THEY WILL BECOME LIKE WONGA!!! United Kingdom | 05 December 2018nick drew ceo doesn't answer recorded delivery letters or emails hes had my bank statements 4 times showing he lent irresponsible and the fos have had my claim for 7 months both totally useless they don't have time for litte poor people, I am chasing every day by letter, email and he can not be bothered to answer me he has no manners very rude and unprofessional man I will continue to chase him until one day he has the manners to answer me, I have reported him and the fos and will continue to do so, as bad a lynne tate at the money shop another waste of space avoid all these companies at all costs sharks

United Kingdom | 02 December 2018This company are using unlawful ethnics to fleece more money out of vulnerable customers. They are refusing to process direct debit payments and charging late fees stating there bank rejects payment which is a lot of tosh! I wish I did my homework before having the displeasure of dealing with them. Please do not touch them with a barge pole. Disgusting and illegal what they are doing. I am taking matters further as they can’t get away with this. They cause unnecessary stress to customers and have no compassion from the reviews I have read. Funny how they don’t reply to reviews, says it all really. Watch this space..

United Kingdom | 26 November 2018Worst company i have ever dealt with. I had a loan out with them 1 year ago, they gave me the wrong date to start with. I paid two payments and also thought i had paid the last payment of £400. So fast forward a year and i get a letter from arc europe stating i have £746.00 outstanding with quick quid and threatening to take me to court!. Due to personal reasons the past year i have been in and out of work and also signed off due to health reasons back in march of this year. I phoned them a stated i have never over the past year recieved any letters or emails to state this payment wasnt paid. At the time the job i had i wouldnt have noticed if £400 had been taken or not and then i lost my job Yet quick quid on there end read all dates out they have sent letters i have my full email screen grabbed to prove i haven't recieved any emails. The only letter i have recieved is from an debt collection agency 1 year later. They want £746.00 off me which i dont have i cant even make an mininum payment to them. So i did phone to say i never recieved a thing however i stated my situation about my mental health and a women on the phone said to me when will you be back at work in quite a cheeky manner! Its not that simple when you have mental health issues. She then went on to say can you not even make a pound payment? No i can't im in negative paying my priorty bills as it is. They will not accept my findings on that i never knew about this outstanding payment basically saying im lying and wont accept my evidence! I have quoted hardship but they didnt want to accept that at first they refused! But also they havent even reduced what is owed. This would not have been left to gain interest if i knew they never took the last payment. So AVOID THESE CROOKS liars and prey on the vunerable!

United Kingdom | 18 November 2018This company is just terrible.I put an unaffordablity complaint in last year for several loans took out over 6 years ago which they totally dismissed and had me forever chasing up.I have emailed several times and ive said loans have to be looked at even if over 6 years old.Just got the usual dismissive emails and now the FOS are dealing with it which is taking forever.This is totally unacceptable and a disgrace aswell as bad communication.Do not use these people.!!

Quickquid just are the worst to even get any response from stay well clear!!!!! 14 months now still nothing with did God they like dragging their feet!! Poor excuse of a company saying they have excellent customer service!!

United Kingdom | 16 November 2018SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE After making a complaint QQ decided to take every bit of the 56 days they have to respond with a generic refusal of any wrong doing. They try to make it as difficult as possible In the hope that you will go away. Not going to happen and I will fight them all the way, the longer this goes on the more interest at 8% will be added, add that to the FOS fees and the admin cost of responding to correspondence. Not the smartest way to deal with complaints

United Kingdom | 16 November 2018This company have been a nightmare to deal with, I had emailed them THREE times regarding my complaint against irresponsible lending starting in May this year and eventually wrote directly to their head office and didn’t even get ONE acknowledgement. I had to take my complaint to the financial ombudsman who is still waiting for them to send over my case file and information on affordability checks. This is the sort of company that’s very engaging and in touch with you whilst you are lending from them and then absolutely disappear when you want to make a complaint...absolutely awful experience with them so far

United Kingdom | 23 October 2018I’ve used these before and they were always ok. However I just took out a loan and then cancelled 60 minutes later. I tried to cancel but they told I couldn’t and would have to pay, fair enough so I did. (Stupidly before the money had gone in). Next day money still isn’t in. I ring up and they tell me that their computer system changed my bank details (they admitted this and that what had happened was illegal). I asked for a refund to which they said I’d have to wait. Even though they made the mistake I’ve got to suffer. Thankyou Viola (uk customer service manager)

I emailed them back and quoted a statement made by the ombudsman this week regarding that loans over 6 years should be looked at Just got the usual dismissive email. I have now lodged a complaint with the FOS! This is totally unacceptable, they just make the rules up to suit themselves!!!

United Kingdom | 18 October 2018Got into trouble with Quick Quid loans back in 2013, defaulted on the loans. Put in an affordability complaint which was upheld at the Financial Ombudsman Service as they were wrong to loan me the money. Settled loan on 28th September 2018, but still have yet to receive refund. They are quick enough to take money from you but not give it back to you. I have to wait until the end of the month for the refund to be processed, yet, others who have been in my position and had their complaints upheld by the FOS have had their payments within a couple of days, no more than one week, and yet mine will take over a month? I would like payment today as feel that this is highly unfair. I feel persecuted against. I have a medical condition, which is exacerbated by stress and this is not helping me at all, it is making my condition worse. Surely they cannot do this to someone, I am well aware that they can make a deposit on the same day, as many others have received their refunds in this manner.

South Africa | 06 September 2018What a misfortune to have chosen this lender. I took out a loan (with outrageous interest but desperate at the time) and agreed to pay the three instalments. I have a medical condition and that coupled with a few unforeseen events left me in a financial pickle. I contacted Quickquid three weeks before my instalment was due to inform them of my situation and offer an alternate repayment arrangement. They refused to assist and instructed me to contact them only when the payment defaulted. The whole point of contacting them prior was to avoid additional fees. I duly wait and send another letter at the end of the month explaining my situation and offering an alternate repayment arrangement. They reject my offer and counter offer an outrageous amount that places me in a worse off situation! They also refused to provide banking details for a standing order. Now I’m unable to make or receive personal calls during the day which I have explained repeatedly and they say they will no longer correspond with me on email, and instead contact me at my place of work which placed me in an awkward situation today. I received advice that a lender cannot reject your payments and so I have gone ahead and setup a standing order ( found their banking details online). I wish I had checked reviews before using them. Please avoid using them, don’t be as foolish as I was. They lack understanding, sympathy, empathy and will definitely not go that extra mile for you.
