Good service throughout. From the quote through to installation

Having finally secured the funding with huge difficulty, dealing with the energy group was a pleasure. Given the go-ahead, they moved very quickly to get in touch and organise installation. They arrived promptly on the day, a very cheery polite group of lads, and got to work immediately. The panel installation lads were done and dusted in two hours, leaving everything immaculate, and the roof looked fantastic. Shaun and Aidan did a wonderful electrical installation, pleasantly explaining everything as they went, and hoovered and tidied up to finish off the job. Couldn’t heap more praises on the whole experience, and the result is providing huge focus and interest now, especially with such changeable weather.

Company has been extremely helpful, professional and on time with the installation etc. Absolutely a great company to deal with.

First off was the salesman, he gave us the wrong quote, the reason for this was never explained, but it took months before Greener Energy would accept that that was the quote we had signed, therefore that was the only quote we would accept. Of course it was to the detriment of Greener Energy which would explain their reluctance to honour it. Our dealings with the office at Greener Energy were poor. It was always us who phoned them and they always said they would phone back, which they never did! Once our quote was sorted out tho and we got notification that our Government loan was granted, things moved quickly. Our installation from the roofers to the electricians were very good. We are happy with our panels and the app which clearly and easily shows the info we need. Im not sure we would recommend Greener Energy. If your quote is correct and everything very straightforward then maybe, but any sort of issue and they are hopeless.

Sales, support team and trades people were all very knowledgeable and supportive of the whole process, from designing the system, to getting government loan support and the installation.

Experienced and well informed

The men who installed my heat pump and solar panels where all very pleasant, and answered all the questions I asked them.

We had solar panels with battery storage installed by GreenerEnergy and are very pleased with the end product. The installation team were great and Ian, the electrician, deserves special mention for his attention to detail and overall workmanship. He did an excellent job for us. There were a few blips in communication, prior to installation, hence the reason for 4 stars rather than 5. But all went well in the end. We are also loving the app which provides us with a very easy way to see our energy production from the solar panels and the storage level of our battery, as well as our export to and import from the national grid. All looking good so far.

Poor Service Back Up. I had a full heating system installed 2 years ago. With good service. However attempts to have my heat source heat pump serviced yearly are problematical. Last year was difficult but eventually obtained one. This year, I have phoned the service line every day. The automated reply states they are busy but to leave contact details and they will reply. No such luck. I sent an email requesting the service and a phone call. No response. I

I had a visit from the renewable energy consultant about a possible heat pump, solar PV and battery installation. His entire inspection was conducted from my kitchen table. Without looking at any of the radiators (except the ones visible from his walk from the front door to the kitchen) he was able to (incorrectly) determine the number of radiators and towel rails, as well as tell me that they ALL needed to be replaced in order to be suitable for the heat pump. Looking at his satellite map of the roof on his tablet he was unable to find anywhere for the solar panels and ruled out solar PV for me. Checking with other companies, I have been able to determine that all of my radiators and towel rails are fine with a heat pump and they found space for 18 solar panels. Their customer visit is just a sales opportunity, not a meaningful assessment at all. Lots of fear-of-missing-out sales patter. Completely lost my trust.

Predatory website and quiz

Schedule was not completed as agreed, the electrical part was delayed not because the technician, he received a call from his boss and need to attend another client. I think that another person will speed up the instalation. The scaffolding was used for only 3 hours and it was installed for 6 days and the cost was very high.

The solar panel duo working on the roof were professional, efficient but also fast, and tidy. They were also friendly and responded positively and helpfully to my queries. The 2 electricians working indoors to fit the battery, inverter, connect up to the solar panels and run the cables, trunking, connect to the mains were also very professional, helpful, and efficient. Would vouch for their experience and expertise.

Helpful home visit with honest advice. Work carried out quickly with as little disruption as possible. Workmen were friendly and efficient. Help was given in applying for Home Energy Scotland funding.

Had PV panels and battery installed. Highly professional and knowledgeable team at every stage. Felt in safe hands throughout the whole process. Minimal fuss and disruption on the install day. Looking forward to seeing a reduction in my electricity bills. I highly recommend Greener Energy!

Happy with our Solar panel system, already generating our own electricity

From the first enquiry to having the Solar PV and battery installation completed with DNO registration and post install EPC was bang on 6 weeks. Greener energy group made the whole process so easy with the advice and recommendations of their sales rep it was an easy choice to make the decision to choose them for the install. The office staff were fantastic in guiding me through the Home Energy Scotland application which made the whole process quicker and easier. The installation team were great and very professional throughout. The electrician's looked after the interior of the property very well with carpet protection and were good at cleaning as they went through the install and the roofers were extremely quick at getting the 12 solar panels fitted and functioning to the roof. The EPC and DNO registration was also carried out very quickly post install which allowed me to set up an export tariff and claim the grant from Home Energy Scotland very quickly. I would definitely recommend Greener Energy Group for Solar PV and battery installations.
