Happy to install my system but nowhere to be seen when I had problems, then when they did come out not prepared to fix the issues !! Very disappointing!!

Won't even come out to me as husband works away and can't attend an appointment. This day and age this is beyond derogatory to women. We aren't able to have our own opinions. Just strikes me they want to make sure they have both parties present to their sign up on the day sales pitch which means they can't back out as they invited them in. That's pressure sales and should not be used in this day and age.

We are repeat customers of Greener Energy and have had a good experience being their customers. Technical and office staff are always promptly responsive, polite and knowledgeable. Planning, installation was carried out with skilled and tidy workmen, the panels and bird proofing look great and we're pleased with the quality of the work. Installation was in March 2023. however the Solis inverter installed was faulty (did not send energy to battery) which we identified a problem within hours of the electrician setting up the App with us. The problem was referred to Solis to try to fix the problem remotely (something to do with the inverter warranty). Finally 5 months later, 3 site visits later from Pure Drive to change, and then check and re-check the battery and 2 site visits from Greener Energy Electricians, Solis finally conceded the inverter was faulty and it was replaced in Aug 2023. This long delay delivering our system was frustrating and I did find myself chasing the remedials department frequently which was tiring, especially as we had a deadline by which we had to claim our offered government loan. I would happily recommend Greener Energy but customer be warned! - Solis customer service seems to be poor/ slow if you have a problem. Now everything is working as it should - we are very happy customers!

Great, conscientious workmen fitted our heat pump and radiators. Only one administrative error made in initial assessment means 4 rather than 5 stars

Martin gave a thorough service to our air heat pump and took time to make sure that we fully understood how to get the best out of our system. We have had the air heat pump for 3 years and are very happy with it. Greener Energy has delivered great service at each stage.

Just had an employee for a service called Martin. I must say, it was first class service from Martin. He fixed my garden tap for nothing (just a bit of use of tools which I did not have, but great of him). Cleaned a rust mark off the outside Airflow and changed my systems settings to save me more money. Great service by Martin and a great and honest company.

Good communication from all instances, different staff all willing to put in more work to accommodate my situation, and honest about what I needed at the expense of immediate profit. I have no doubt about contacting in the future and already recommended to people I know.

We had solar panels installed last week - the two engineers who did the install were Stephen and Conor and they did an excellent job. We have an older house and it was tricky to find a good internal route for the cables from the inverter to the main fuse board but nothing was too much trouble, they persevered and found a route and managed to put the inverter and battery exactly where we wanted them. They have done a really neat install, gave us a comprehensive handover, and were a pleasure to work with.

This Company is Excellent. The assessor "Joe" was honest, professional, fast and highly qualified and experienced. Everything we asked was addressed in full with honesty. Our experience was incredibly good. A level of honesty, personal care and such a degree of skill is very rare these Days. The experience with the staff in Paisley was equally satisfying. If you are looking for an honest and professional Company to take a step with renewable energy we highly recommend the Greener Energy Group.

We had solar panels and battery fitted a couple of weeks ago and cannot speak highly enough of the two electricians Stephen and Conor who installed the system. They were so good at explaining how everything worked and so tidy cleaning up after themselves. A credit to your company.

Recently had solar PV and batteries installed after previously getting a source heat pump installed. Highly recommend the service and the Engineers Stephen & Connor, delightful guys and excellent engineers. Thier after support has been above and beyond and I have been extremely grateful for their assistance on more than 1 occassion

I had an exceptional experience with Greener Energy. From the initial contact and sales rep visit all was fully explained regarding what to expect and what was to be installed, there was no hard sell and no expectation of signing up on the day. The installation team over the two days were exceptional in letting me know what was going on with the install and good communication when they wanted my input. Left their work areas clean and tidy and explains how to work the app and thermostat. Overall I would recommend this company.

The office staff kept me informed of progress at every stage and on completion of the work were very quick to provide all the paperwork. The workforce were competent and professional. They done the job quickly but well and cleared away afterward. The electrician explained the controls and set up the monitoring software for me, explaining its use.

For our Solar PV installation, the initial visit to go over options costs etc was extremely helpful. Everyone I dealt with was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. The installation was carried out efficiently and professionally. The electrician, in particular, seem to set himself very high standards and did a very tidy job fitting the home battery and inverter. Very happy with the whole experience.

Install was rushed and mistakes where made, eventually resolved, but most issues could have been avoided.

We chose Greener Energy because we had moved house and wanted to go 0-carbon in our new home; and because the daughter of a friend of ours had used Greener Energy recently, successfully, to make a similar change. They sent a young lad initially, to do a “survey”. But he was really an expert in finance, and his physical survey of the house was extremely light. Greener helped us contact Home Energy Scotland, and provided the receipts we needed, to cover our application for funding. It is a shame Greener does not do cavity wall insulation, as this is a prerequisite for going 0-carbon, and it was very hard to find a cavity wall insulation installer. Throughout the process I would describe Greener as “pushy”. They phoned us nearly every day to see whether we had yet submitted our forms to HES, had a date for EPC, received approval for this, got a certificate for that, sent off the documentation for the other. I found this intrusive as often I was away from my desk when they called, and not able to check the details. On the up-side they have been quick. They installed our solar panels within two days of the cavity wall insulation being certified; they have already set a date for installing our heat-pump. In fact they would probably already have installed the heat pump if not for the fact we have been on holiday. One thing I’ve been disappointed with wrt our new solar panels & battery is a lack of technical information. We received a ‘pack’ of 16 (count them) technical documents. But there is still one fairly obvious question they have not answered: labeling for two trip switches on the new fuse board they installed. One final gripe is that it is not possible to switch our new battery so that it will discharge onto the grid, so we can export electricity when the export price is high. Throughout all the discussions prior to having the panels installed there was a general assumption, by all parties, that this was a practical option. As it happens, with Octopus, we would not want to do this, but I wish people had been up front from the start - Selling electricity from your car battery, or the battery in your roof space is a possible future technology, not one you can exploit today. (Of course, you can export electricity, and be paid for it, but only when the sun is shining and you are not using the electricity yourself.

Brian Lawson visited our house and gave an excellent presentation and convinced us that a Heat Pump was the way to go and so we went ahead and ordered a Heat Pump System. We were very impressed with the technical survey carried out by David Duffy which was very detailed and clearly explained so that we understood every step of the installation. We have a large wet underfloor heating system and were recommended by David to install a Hybrid Vaillant ASHP and small backup Vaillant Gas Boiler as the most appropriate system. The initial team, Conrad, Willie and electrician Callum arrived on day one and quickly removed our existing system which included a gas guzzling boiler that didn’t work well with our underfloor heating. After the second day everything was up and running with only some electrical work to finish off. A number of minor issues developed that required several visits from various fitters and electricians including Martin, but these were resolved quickly and the system is now functioning very well. The only negative point would be the difficulty in speaking to an adviser and the lack of returned calls at the start of the process. However, the remedial and accounts departments have been excellent especially Kirsty and Courtney! We are really happy with the system and are very impressed with the heat generated at a much lower temperature than our more expensive to run old system. We are now looking forward to the winter months as this will be the real test. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending The Greener Energy Group and was very impressed with all the fitters and electricians who are consummate experts. Gavin

He spent time explaining everything to us and answered every question we had. The office team were amazing at helping me complete the Home Energy Scotland application form. Once approved, the team regularly phoned to check in with the progress and arranged an installation date once the funds were available. All installation teams were friendly, polite and worked very hard to complete the work within the scheduled time. They ensured everything was clean and tidy before they left, and also answered any questions we had.
