The shelves I ordered are really nice and I would defiantly recommend. Delivery was a little while but I was well aware of this before ordering. The reason I left 2 star off is that the fixings weren't the greatest and I've modified them so that it now looks like it's a floating shelf. For a 3rd of the price of similar products I wouldn't hesitate and defiantly buy again and almost defiantly will in the near future. Tha k you

Ordered my beautiful butchers block to complete my newly created farmhouse kitchen and told to expect it in the new year. Lovely surprise to get a call saying he was in the area mid December and I could have it that day. It did not disappoint...beautiful craftsmanship and friendly delivery and care advice. Will definitely order again and recommend

I had been searching for the right mantel to go into my home. Mostly they were expensive, then I found the captains craftworks amazing price orderingwas easy and the customer care excellent. My mantel did take a while to be delivered but it was well worth the wait, its fantastic craftsmanship and is a real feature in my home. I would highly recommend this company you carnt go wrong.

Very happy with ordering a mantel through Captain’s Craftworks. I emailed to get some more detail on sizes before ordering, and had a very quick and detailed response. On putting in an order I got updates on when to expect my delivery, and once it arrived it was exactly the specifications I expected. Really happy with the final result, it looks great and even better with stockings hanging from it over Christmas!

We would like to thank Adam for all his help in purchasing our new butchers block kitchen island. From the initial bespoke design process, to the personalised delivery service. The beautiful craftsmanship and care taken is clear to see in the finished product. We had to wait a little longer, but with a bespoke design, we understood this and it was well worth the wait (not forgetting the events of this year thrown into the mix!) We are pleased to support a small business that crafts bespoke artisan products. We are extremely grateful and looking forward to using our butchers block island in our open plan kitchen everyday! Would highly recommend.

Sadly, I would NOT recommend this business. I placed an order with them at the beginning of October 2020 on the understanding there would be 4 week wait, of which I accepted. The 4 week wait was nearing and I tried making contact to arrange delivery as Adam had said it would be on the weekend. He eventually responded to my messages with a phone call saying ‘I’m very sorry but my wife has booked me in to deliver to Scotland, I will get it to you the following weekend, Saturday 14th Nov between 9.30-10am. I waited in all day for a ‘no show’ he didnt respond to text msg, answer his phone or respond to emails. I asked for a refund, no response. I’ve still heard nothing. I have now contacted PayPal and opened a dispute. If there is a genuine reason for zero communications and 2 failed promises of delivery I will remove this post but as I was dubious I checked out google reviews and saw another post relating to poor communications too. I hope I’m covered by PayPal for the £584.99 he’s had off me and failed to deliver the item. It pains me to leave a negative but feel I’ve been left with no choice in the matter. Perhaps this will get me result in either a delivery or refund!?

We purchased a butchers block and although we had to wait a little longer than expected we are very pleased with it. The craftsmanship is excellent. We would have no hesitation in buying other items we need. Thank you Adam.
