We were looking for a bespoke Butchers block for our kitchen, and during our research we came across Captain’s Craftworks. We decided to visit the premises, and met Adam and his team who were all delightful. Adam showed us around his workshop and explained all the various options regarding types of fittings and colours. We went home, decided what we wanted, and contacted Adam to place our order. The process from start to finish was about 45 days, which is pretty quick by any standards. Our new Butchers block was delivered this week, delivered personally by Adam and his wife. We couldn’t be happier with the result! It is a stunning addition to our kitchen and Adam was a total pleasure to deal with. We ordered a Corsair butcher’s block painted to match our resprayed kitchen and asked Adam to fit our own handles. We now have a solid, well made piece of furniture that matches really well. Very pleased with it and would recommend - it took about 8 weeks but definitely worth the wait.

I love my larder. It is stunning, solid and beautifully built. Being able to choose any paint colour, waxed shelving and racks and from a variety of handles means my larder feels unique to me. This is very competitively priced and so much nicer and more individual than the high street brands. Delivery and assembly were included and I'm delighted to have bought from a homegrown business. I will not hesitate to buy from here again and recommend to friends.

Adam delivered my Island last Sunday as arranged. It is really beautiful and the detail in the wood is really special. He told me how to oil it and the oil was provided too. We ordered a butcher's block to go with our new kitchen. The quality is superb and is just like advertised on the website. The order took longer than 4 weeks to be delivered, but Adam was helpful when I rang him and the delivery date he said on the phone was honoured. He was also very nice when delivering. I would highly recommend, as the butcher's block is exactly what we were looking for. 😀

Amazing customer service. Had an issue with the finish on a BBQ side table but Adam was apologetic and arranged a replacement. His commitment to customer service is undoubted and I would buy from him again.

Adam has just delivered our bedroom furniture and couldn't be more pleased! Very sturdy and well made, fantastic range of colours and a full bespoke service to fit with exactly what we wanted. Having been let down big time by The Cotwold Co, Adam has far exceeded anything we may have finally received from them anyway! He drove a long way to deliver our stuff personally, put together the bed and took away all protective wrappings too, very pleasant and professional craftsman. I cannot rave enough about the kitchen island and pantry cupboards we bought. They are a centrepiece in our house - the level of craftsmanship and quality really is second to none. Adam is really lovely and has a clear passion and pride in his work which is evident in the furniture he makes. We ordered a butchers block kitchen island painted to our Farrow & Ball specification. We are very happy with the island but recognise that delivery times of a few months is the price you have to pay for a quality bespoke product.

We ordered a kitchen Island from Adam and he spent time with us discussing our requirements re a granite top, handles and F&B colour to match our kitchen. We even went to his workshop to meet him and look at some examples. Adam sourced the granite for us and fitted it. The island looks absolutely great and we were impressed with the service Adam offered and the quality of the island. Its great to use a local company and we will definitely use Adam again and recommend Captain Craftwork!

I was struggling to find something until I came across Captain's Craftworks. Bingo - the perfect table attachment. I went for the XL table (79cm x 47cm) and it is brilliant. The adjustable legs enabled me to get the correct height for my weber master touch. Worth every penny. Total game changer. Thank you Captain's Craftworks!!!! You guys have awesome products.
