We visited the workshop of Captain's Craftworks and were very impressed with the quality and workmanship of the products. We also much appreciated the advice of staff on size for our proposed island unit. The colour was specially matched to our current units, delivered within the proposed time-frame and looks great in our kitchen-diner. I wanted a piece of quality furniture for my outside BBQ area, and that would fit snugly in a small space. I came across captains craftworks online and read their positive reviews. I called Adam (owner) and discussed my requirements. Sure enough he was able to make a bespoke port Isaac kitchen island to size. Four weeks delivery time and well worth the wait. I am incredibly pleased with the kitchen island, its overall quality, and aesthetics.

Absolutely thrilled with my new custom butchers block, was delivered exactly as expected, and fits perfectly in the space in my kitchen and now gives me valuable extra work surface. I bought some custom baskets for it which were designed to fit perfectly on the shelves and now I store my veg there.

Captain’s Craftworks very kindly built a butcher’s block for me with one or two specific alterations to width, height etc so that it would fit perfectly in the space allocated. Delivery time was as arranged with no delays. I am delighted with the item. It is beautifully crafted and it looks wonderful in my kitchen. Although it is a butcher’s block I will not be allowing anyone to cut anything on top of such a gorgeous piece of oak!!!! Thank you.

Excellent work delivery exactly on time

I have now oiled the top of our Corsair Butchers Block Kitchen Island and it looks fantastic. It is everything we were hoping for. Somehow you know when you are buying the best there is from people you can trust. All our contact with Adam and Kim was handled efficiently and pleasantly. The whole process was seamless from start to finish.

From order to delivery was 11 weeks, which for a made to order product with such amazing quality is fantastic. I contacted Adam to request the use of handles I had ordered elsewhere to match my kitchen. He was very accommodating and gave me an estimated delivery, which ended up being the date the item was delivered. It was delivered within the small time window provided and quickly installed on site. I absolutely love the pantry cupboard and really love the colour, Old English Green. It was a tough choice with a good range of colours available, the samples before ordering helped. This item was worth every penny!
