Our Butchers Block was delivered whilst we were away- it was left exactly as we had instructed and was well packaged to keep it safe. We’re extremely pleased with it, the craftsmanship is excellent! Will definitely purchase from this company again.

We have just taken delivery of our Corsair Kitchen Island from Captain Craftworks and it has been well worth the wait as it is absolutely fantastic. It has transformed our kitchen, the quality and workmanship is amazing far superior than some of the well known brands out there, I don't know how they do it for the price as it was very very reasonable. The owner delivered it himself and you could see the pride he has in what he had produced and what a nice guy. 10/10 and would highly recommend this company.

I have never had such an abusive delivery experience! My small friendly dog ran out the gate ..I immediately scooped him up & shut him away..but the driver, & owner of this company, was extremely abusive to me ..refused to bring my sideboard through the gate..dumped it in the road…my adult son came out to help with lifting…& asked the driver “ to calm down” to which he replied” you cocky little sh**”. Neighbours came out to see if I was ok when hearing the drivers abusive language…this has totally tainted the sideboard for me, I would have returned it there & then if not already payed for…a truly horrible experience!

Fantastic service and great product. I was initially dubious to contact a company via mobile phone but I could not have been more wrong. Adam is a very straightforward, honest person who is rightly proud of his business. He was very clear and professional but totally approachable throughout, did what he said he was going to do and made us a fantastic island unit exactly to our request. It took a little time but Adam advised us this from the start and it was well worth waiting for. We use it everyday and are delighted with it both for looks and functionality.

Great product and would recommend but with a warning about the service. It was over 18 weeks from placing my order to delivery and Adam refused to admit that it took longer than the warnings on the website which add up to a max of 14 weeks. Just an acknowledgement and even a wee apology would have helped. I was told a number of times that they are working 60-80 hours a week plus another 14 hours at weekends which doesnt sound sustainable as a recipe for a happy life. Not sure why they do personal delivery from Nottingham to Glasgow given they are already working to the max- I would have been happy to pay £50 delivery if the delay was due to waiting for a batch delivery to Scotland. The butchers block needed taking up one floor but Adam refused to accept my help, referring to the website info which I interpreted as meaning help will be needed to carry up one floor. (“Our delivery service is 1 man and ground floor. Help must be available to carry large items unless otherwise agreed in advance. For difficult access or non ground floor deliveries please contact us before ordering".) The block had to be left outside overnight till I found someone that would lift it with me. I was left with the impression that Adam was pretty stressed, but improved communication would go a long way to make this a five star review.

We ordered a 3 door larder unit, and had it customised, plus painted in a colour of our choice. We also has a custom built island, on lockable wheels, painted same colour as the larder. The craftsmanship of both items is superb! They are two beautiful pieces of furniture and we would most definitely recommend !!

Had a port Royal butchers block delivered and been using for quite a while now. It has aged so well And looks better and better with use. So pleased with it. I’m now back looking at add to it.

Having viewed the Corsair Butchers Block online, I visited Adam at his workshop to discuss options to best match the island to my existing kitchen. He was extremely professional and welcoming. I left a sample of my existing kitchen so he could match up the colour and the handles. He even said he would alter the height to match our existing unit tops. Adam & Kim delivered the unit personally to my house in North Yorkshire. The quality is excellent and a credit to Adam and his team. I certainly will be buying more furniture from Adam in the future.
