I have been with Taxes for Expats for three years, but have had two different CPAs and a third CPA for a paid consultation call. This makes it frustrating to have to repeatedly explain my different type of employment contracts. The service to file my taxes has been generally good and accurate, and they are very responsive, but I do have to be proactive to understand what actions are needed on my end outside of the platform (despite the guides available). Online platform is quite good. The consultation I paid for was a total bust - I found out while filing my taxes that I had left the consultation with a completely different understanding of the issue than the CPA, which significantly affected my tax situation.

This company provides professional service (albeit at a professional price). Its online questionnaire system makes organizing the filing quite simple and straightforward. A human tax specialist is always involved as well. If you're on the far side of the planet and you can't easily get help, they make it easy.

I'm pleased that I found them so I could get my filing sorted out. I look forward to working with them again to keep up to date on filing without all the stress of navigating various forms and potential errors. My CPA was super-helpful and responsive when I had questions, and reassuring when I had worries about the process. 10 out of 10, no notes. :)

The online preparation form is very straight forward and easy enough to follow, even for a non accountant like me. I have been working with Taxes For Expats for several years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. The only difficulty is in configuring the tax questions for the US tax forms to the tax forms from the country where I live.

TFX takes the stress out of providing the information required for them to prepare my US tax return. The questionnaire also makes it easy to carry forward information that hasn't changed from the previous tax year such as home address, social security number, bank names and addresses. I highly recommend TFX.

This is our second year doing our taxes with TFX. Having all the information from last year pre-loaded into this year's tax forms was a real time saver Both years, the accountants have been great. Doing taxes is always a stressful process, but choosing TFX to help me with it has been the best decision I have made. They have been very helpful in assisting me in preparing my expat taxes. Great service, great website, answered questions, made expat tax filing fairly painless. I find the tax forms and processes as an expat to be VERY confusing and difficult. Before leaving the US I always did my own taxes and I have a head for numbers and am a bit of a stats geek......but I could not figure out how to do my taxes once I became an expat. Taxes for Expats to the rescue.

TFX helped me catch up with back tax filing a few years ago and I have continued to use them the last few years (except one). I went back to them.
